But now very happy, I am able to swing the door out or in, and the function is useful. I swing the door in so I can allow the shower to dry throughly. I wasn't too keen on the price, a little over priced I'd say. Also there was a little trouble getting the door sized. I had to wait an additional week for the actual door. That is why I did not give a 5, however the owner was in touch with me about the door. He did tell me he was going to get me a door stop to allow the door to just close. I am happy I just used the door first before restricting the movement of the door. The door does look great in my bathroom.

Wonderful Experience with Ree-Model LLC…read more I've been burned many times over the years when hiring people to work on our home -- contractors not showing up when they say they will, projects dragging on far beyond the expected completion date, poor communication, sloppy work, messes left behind, you name it. Because of those experiences, I've honestly come to expect home projects to be stressful. That was absolutely NOT my experience with Ree-Model. From beginning to end, Ralphy was extremely communicative and kept us informed about what was happening and what to expect. The crew showed up when they said they would and worked on our project consistently every day until it was finished (unless we were literally just waiting for the stucco to dry). Junior has an incredible eye for detail. There were times my husband or I would notice some tiny little thing and wonder if we should mention it, only to find out Junior had already noticed it himself and had it on his list to address before they considered the job complete. That gave us so much confidence throughout the project. They genuinely cared about getting the details right. I also changed my mind on a couple of things along the way, and they never made me feel like I was being difficult or inconveniencing them. There was no pushback -- they just worked with me and made sure that, in the end, I got exactly what I wanted. Our project consisted of replacing old siding with stucco, replacing rotted facia boards, custom build and application of new shutters and window awnings, and painting done to the exterior of our home. We absolutely LOVE how everything turned out. The stucco looks beautiful and clean, and my custom wood shutters and window awnings came out even better than I imagined. When they were finished, they left our property looking beautiful and honestly cleaner than it was before they started. What impressed me most was that it never felt like they were simply trying to finish a job and move on to the next one. It genuinely felt like they were just as invested in making our home look beautiful as we were. Ralphy said he'd make our home look brand-new when we signed up, and he kept true to his word. After years and years of dealing with unprofessional, non-communicative, and seemingly uninvested "professionals," Ree-Model may have actually healed my contractor trauma. I'm incredibly grateful to Ralphy, Junior, and the entire Ree-Model team for the hard work and care they put into our home. I would hire them again without hesitation and truly cannot recommend them enough.

All good remodel projects have roadblocks and complications. Great projects have contractors that are willing to work with you to get through those issues. From pandemic delays in appliance delivery to discovering the cabinets I was trying to preserve weren't salvageable, Rodney and his team were with me every step of the way. Rodney, Shane, and Corey were all professional, considerate, and very pleasurable to work with. They made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything along the way and were attentive to all my requests. They kept the work environment cleaned up every day and I always felt comfortable having them in my home. I started the project and shortly after demo realized my cabinets were not in a condition we could keep and I needed all new cabinets. While this can be a shock to any unplanned cost, Rodney gave me options and was patient with me as I made the decision on which route to take. We needed to get power under the floor through the concrete slab - and the team put on their creative hats and worked with me to get what we needed without needing to tear up my newer floor, I was so happy! My project was largely done minus the appliance delivery and install. Rodney let me know it was no problem, and that they would come back and install as soon as they were delivered. Five months later when they finally arrived, he sent his crew out to get things done! Italish prides themselves on getting a job done right, and they live up to every ounce of that promise. About a week and a half after their install the caulking cracked on just about all the seams and joints. We sent pictures to Mike asking that they come back out to fix, and he immediately blamed it on others stating that the contractor doing our remodel must have banged on the cabinetry too much. However this was not the case at all. We expressed our frustration and disappointment in the service, only to have Mike say that he would mail us the caulking and we could fix it ourselves, complaining that the 30 minute drive to our house was too much. This after he had already agreed to do business with us and took our money - over $1500.

He would let me know when someone was on their way to the house, what time they should be there, and would also text me the night before to give me a heads up on the next crew that would be coming into the house. I have always been very hesitant with letting people into my house if I wasn't there, but this whole company seriously blew my mind! Even though both my husband and I worked during the day, we were extremely comfortable with ICON being in our house. We had two bathrooms that had extensive mold in them and ICON went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't ever have to deal with that issue again! Honestly I get pretty peeved whenever I see their truck or sign now just because of their lack of professionalism. After about 1.5 months I finally just asked him out right if we would ever hear anything and just got a no he couldn't quote - I understood current state of cost of supplies etc but seriously the guy could have offered to follow up in a few months or something. Disappointed.
