Geraldo was my sales associate and was a pleasure to work with. He was kind and knowledgeable. Once we were done checking out quartzite slabs (they had a beautiful selection by the way) he priced them out to me including a $100 delivery charge. I thanked him for helping me and told him I would be back after chatting with my husband and contractor. On my way out, I overhead the general manager quote someone $50 for their slab delivery and 10% off if their contractor ordered it for them. When he was done with that customer, I inquired about the contractor discount and he made it seem like it wouldn't apply to me (no idea why when I'm working with a reputable, well known and licensed kitchen remodeler) but assured me they had the best prices in town as he "checks often with the local competition". This left a bad taste in my mind. I went to bedrosians immediately after and they had all the same slabs, same price per sq foot and a 25% off contractors purchase (as well as 40% for Black Friday, which was just my luck that I happen to be shopping this week!). Moral of the story-- shop around and don't be afraid to ask questions on why your getting different answers than other people are getting. read more

I had a great experience with this company. As soon as I walked in the manager showed me plenty of options within my stated budget. I must mention that I was never made uncomfortable, even though budget was a big issue for me. The staff members were all very helpful; they offered me their full level of knowledge so that I could understand well the difference among the products I was interested in. I was also impressed with the store; the showroom is huge and very well-organized, making it easy for their clients to find what they want in little to no time. I don't even know where to even start. Okay, I have seriously looked everywhere, from local granite and marble shops to even big warehouses in the Bay area. I've done my research when it comes to looking for the right marble for our house. I was looking for an Emperador Cafe that was a light brown, more like a light brown tan. And to my surprise, all of the places I've went to (from Modesto, Turlock, Merced, even in the Bay Area) , didn't have it:( And when they did have something, it was outrageously priced and so stressful with transportation. After searching everywhere, I looked online and I found some marbles that looked nice and was somewhat affordable. However, it was a huge gamble because if I ordered a sample and it comes good. Once I order a whole inventory of that marble, it may not be the same because they have different versions of that marble and it may not have came from the same batch as the sample did. And online marble is so difficult to return because it crazy huge:( Then, miraculously I found Pacific Shore Stones and when I contacted Dandee, he was so kind and went above and beyond to get me the right marble that I was looking for. And what's more, I told him that I was interested in a marble that's sold online and that it's a 4 dollars cheaper per marble tile than the ones that they are selling. This individual matched the online price of the marble that I was looking for and gave me an even lower price. He literally lowered his price by 5 dollars!!!! And the customer service that Dandee has provided was just out of this world. Such a kind individual and I don't know if he's the owner of the store, but he deserves an Oscar award for the level of kindness and professionalism he brings to this store. I was thrilled to be greeted immediately upon my first visit to Pacific Shore Stones, despite the office consultant busy assisting another client. She then asked Tony, the manager, to help me. Tony got up from his desk chair without making me wait, was knowledgable about the many slabs I liked, and was happy to share his opinion regarding my many questions. Best of all, Tony eagerly drove the small forklift to move the unique slabs for my better viewing. This is rare, to have the manager be so readily available and willing to move the many heavy and gorgeous slabs I was so excited to see. Tony was open to discussing different pricing and negotiated his best price. My only regret is I didn't know of Pacific Shore Stones prior to yesterday! This would have saved me many miles, hours, aggravation, and cost with the previous home remodel I just completed.
