I will never recommend Bath Fitter to anyone. I was a hopeful customer who scheduled a consultation, who had prior knowledge of the company stressing 1 day installs (consultation was on a Friday). Looked for updating my duplex tub/ shower combo. The salesman was a smooth talker who looks to pull the wool over your eyes. The salesman stood with me in the bathroom asked me how much I would think the job would cost of replacing my tub, shower walls, and shower faucet. I provided him a general idea of $4,000-$5,000. He responded with the figure of $7,500 just by looking at the area. He goes don't worry we offer 0% financing over 60 months if approved. He also stressed once again their 1 day install, and how they warranty all of their work all the way down to the studs behind the walls, including lifelong 100% coverage of anything broke, and it is transferable between owners. We then sit down and he pulls out his book of what they offer for features. We go through and select what we would like, and there was an upgrade to black accents which he said he would wave the up charge. He then puts the figures together and quoted us $9,600, but if we signed today he would take off $1,200 thus our total would be $8,400. He then steps outside to later return and answers all questions. First question was how long after saying yes can I cancel he indicated 3 days. Second question was with the financing is it a soft inquire or hard inquire, he advises it is a soft inquire just to see if preapproved. Third question who is financing through he indicated Wells Fargo. His tablet wouldn't work so had to call into the main office to have to run the soft inquire which was approved for a balance of $10,000. Tentatively agree to the deal knowing it was a pre approval running, and was guaranteed it would not show up on my credit. The next day I contact a local contractor who quotes me three separate options for the shower all which are drastically lower $3,000 or more. Contractor indicated he would not be able to do the job in a day however more like 2-3 days. I explained to local contractor what Bath Fitters quoted me and he stated he will never use them or recommend them himself. Local contractor went on to explain that he owns several rental units and bought one that had a bath fitters product installed that was leaking, and when contacting them they said they wouldn't fix it without payment, he needed up paying $350 for them to fix it. On the following Monday I contact Bath Fitters and cancel the transaction requesting no work to be completed by them. They confirm this and close the job. A week following this I receive an email from Wells Fargo indicating I have an account opened in my name sourced from Bath Fitters with a balance of $10,000. Which showed up on my credit score also, none of the less. Immediately contact Wells Fargo and dispute it, very good customer service on their part. I then contact Bath Fitters and ask how an account is tied to them with a $10,000 balance is now open. I was told well it should've been closed when we closed the job out, I'll contact them and have it closed with no balance. I then ask the female how and why an account was even opened in my name if it was a "soft inquiry" I was told well it wasn't a soft inquiry. Between the over pricing, misinformation, and lack of communication by this company I do not recommend them and stress using local businesses instead of them. They talk up a smooth game, number & make it sound like it's an amazing company, but instead completely take advantage of customers!! read more

Made an appt. with them at the NYS fair to come give us an estimate. Rushed home from work to meet them and they never showed. When I e-mailed them about never showing or even calling to let us know or reschedule they never responded to that either. Super professional! read more

For the past 3 years running, they have provided regular lawn service, including mowing and weed whacking. They also helped adjust the mowing schedule to work around my lawn aeration and reseeding this past summer. Also they've done a couple of other specialized things for me, most recently including a tree removal. Fall of 2025, they offered snow removal in addition to the lawn service. Based on the weather so far this year, I've gotten lucky. They have been here multiple times, plowing my driveway in spite of some special needs. ( Curb stones, anyone?). I needed an emergency plow during one of the December snowstorms, when my mother was taking to the hospital. Joe literally was in my driveway less than 10 minutes after I called to make sure that I was able to get out and get to the hospital. Can't say enough good things. Is it the cheapest service in the area? No (with an asterisk*). It's a little bit more than what you pay a larger company, emphasis on the little, but in my opinion, I'm getting much more personalized service. For the fall / winter of 2025 2026, they've added plowing to their resume. It's the first year, so sometimes growing pains might be expected. With the heavier snowfall this year, more than once they've been to my residence multiple times in a single day to plow my driveway out. In short, I'm very very pleased with the job that they're doing, Sun or snow. (Apologies for any typos, large hands on a small cell phone keyboard, lol) A satisfied customer in Galeville

We just had our tub/shower converted to a walk in shower by Bath Fitters. We are just thrilled with the results. We met with Dave who came to our house to show us what was available. We found him to be very helpful in helping us make decisions based on our needs. When the day came for installation, Roman and Cody were at our door at 8:00 a.m. on the dot, literally, and out by 4:00 p.m. with the job completely done, including leaving the bathroom as clean as when they entered it. The shower is perfect with absolutely no problems and it is absolutely beautiful. When they were done, they explained how everything worked, all the new shower gadgets, and also told us how to care for the shower. They gave us a squeegee to use on the shower doors, a bottle of smudge cleaner and a tool to clean the area where the glass slides in the frame. They were so professional and friendly and answered all of our questions. Also impressive was they had a private contract plumber that came in and did the necessary plumbing work. Now I have read some reviews that the cost was high, but to be honest the price was right around what we expected to pay and what sealed the deal for us was the lifetime warranty they provide on ALL parts of the shower. EVERYTHING. No other company offers that. That tells me that this company stands behind all of the products they use. We are so glad that we chose Bath Fitters to do our walk in shower as our experience with everyone we encountered, including the staff at the show room, have been nothing but professional, informative and courteous and their work is beautiful. With proper care and cleaning this shower will look as good 20 years from now as it does today and NO MORE TILE GROUT CLEANING! Also if your calking should ever get moldy, they will come and repair it at no charge. Who else does that?! read more

Matt and Alex did our replacement and they were very friendly and professional. We run a daycare and they kept the work area safe and secure during our hours of being open. We were very impressed with the work they did and how they asked us questions as they went along to assure we got what we wanted done. She answered my questions and scheduled Eric to meet me in person and go over my options. The day of installation, Evan and Roman arrived and were professional, quick and neat. I am writing a review about Allen, our installer, and Dave, the salesman who took all the measurements for Allen to do the job he did. Both men were exemplary. Allen was our installer and he was professional as an installer and an avid worker. He has a wonderful , what I call , a tubside manner. Just a pure pleasure to have him in our home. Awesome!!! I had my upstairs tub/shower removed and installed a dome shower/tub.. Beautiful.. Installers were great.!! I loved it so much, i invited them back to change my downstairs tub/shower to a walk in shower. Mario and Brad came today and changed my old tub to walk in shower... I love BathFitter. .Installers were great and kept me updated at every step. Mario and Brad were awesome.. Installers were great, I felt comfy leaving them to go run errands and grab them lunch. Roman and Drew arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. to remove a 40-year-old bathtub and replace it with a brand new walk-in shower. At exactly 4:00 p.m. they walked out the door with a completed bathroom! Their work was absolutely incredible! Both gentlemen were extremely polite and helpful. They worked straight through the 8 hours! Clean up was spotless. We can not be happier! I have to say I'm very pleased with my new shower. All completed in one day. After signing the contract, the install was set up and kept within 6 weeks; not 6 months. There were no supply chain issues. Roman and Alex appeared promptly on day of install and did a great job. They kept us informed as they went along , and were very personable. Ridiculously overpriced. They were 33% more expensive than their competitors, and I found a contractor who tiled my entire bathroom for less than half of what they quoted me to essentially glue three sheets of plastic wall to my shower wall. An absolute rip off. read more
