Now new name, website & App. Denighed me car loan in past BUT now almost perfect credit. APR was 7% vs a NM CU Otero 3.5% when I did get car loan in 2018. Collateral same SUV was also higher interest vs Otero since I owned SUV. Business is business nothing personal. Still grate CU get SS check by end of month not 3rd ALWAYS. I pay my parents rent by putting their cash in my account and paying their rent through my cash app account. well I put 1800.00 in by breaking it up but before I left to go to the bank I counted their money and there was exact amount 1800.00 well the machine was acting up and kept spitting money out but at the end I didn't get 60.00 back but when i moved over to the other machine people were using the machine that wasn't acting right. well according to the woman I spoke to she said what happened was a penny jammed in there anyways to make my point the denied there was any extra 60.00. after their supposedly audit. 3rd times the charm for me. time to find a new bank. done with it.

For over 18 months I regularly relied on Midcoast Federal Credit Union to deposit my checks to…read moreanother credit union. Today when I went there, to my surprise my driver's license was not in my wallet. Although they know me by face, have records of all my transactions, see that I have other proofs of identity, and know that I am not a security risk, refused to deposit my check. It wasn't the wasted hour of travel that got me. It was that so much was riding on this deposit, as little as the amount was, and despite me explaining this, no one in that branch cared other than what was their policy: no driver's license, no deposit. There is good reason to bank with credit unions. But Midcoast Federal Credit Union has a staff incapable of making a sound customer-care decision in unexpected situations such as mine. Until Midcoast Federal Credit Union receives professionalism training I am banking in an institution that treats me like a human, in addition to following security protocol.
