I ordered a battery and received an email that said it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, they said it would be available in about 4 days. I asked if another location had it and they said yes, then transferred the order to the Littleton store. When I arrived at the Littleton store, they said they never had one and never received a call from this store. That store was kind to find one, but it required driving all the way to Golden area. I would have given this store a better rating, had they just called the store to make sure the customer is taken care of. read more

I Purchased not one but two batteries from this location and both of the batteries are dead one 19 months ago and one 22 months ago. They were supposed to be warranted for 36 months but a very rude store employee and customer service representative told me I had done something wrong with the batteries. I grew up around cars and the cars are late model well-maintained cars. This store told me the batteries had a no-questions-asked 36-month warranty and it was not prorated. Now, the customer service agent laughed on the phone and said they were not covered. Go to the dealer or Auto Zone do not and I repeat do not ever buy a battery from this company. Furthermore, they refused to send me a copy of the warranty when asked to do so. Look at all of the 1 star reviews and there are an absolute ton from their stores. read more

This store was referred to me by Squaretrade. I took my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone here to be fixed. They put the wrong color cover on my phone. They told Squaretrade it can take 2 weeks for a silver back to arrive. I submitted my claim on April 3rd. It's now April 29th. No silver back and now the phone is no longer working. Had the best customer service experience this morning! My remote key battery to my car was low, so I took it in to have it looked at. I talked to Jerry at the desk. He took the old battery out of the key, checked the life, and told me it was about dead. He also noticed that the metal holding piece was loose, which he aptly fixed. After replacing the old battery with one that I already had, Jerry made sure that it was operable. He handed my key to me, and told me to have a nice day! I was adamant about paying for his service. I have never written a review before. I was cleaning house and found an old business card for Batteries Plus with Shawn as the Manager. I tore the card in two and put it in the trash. Then I had to dig it out because I had to write this! I had purchased about a dozen batteries from this store over the years for cars, trailers and boats. About 2 years ago one of the two batteries died in my 2005 diesel truck after 10 months. Shawn replace the one but told me I did not need the second tandem battery replaced. A month later second battery died. They told me it was from customer abuse and refuse to replace it. My truck had never had problems with batteries before or since. Customer abuse...wow! I will never set foot in a Batteries Plus again. I now go to Costco who understands customer service. And the business card is in the trash again. read more

My cell phone was not keeping a charge. I decided to try buying a battery here instead of going to my wireless provider. I called them to see if they even carried a battery for my phone (thankfully they did). The rep I dealt with was quick, efficient, super helpful (he offered to hold a battery behind the counter since the stock was low) and even gave me a 10% discount when I picked it up. I got a battery for under $40 which I'm sure AT&T would've at least doubled that. I'll be coming back here in the future for sure! read more

I wish I read the bad reviews before I came. They have horrible customer service. They don't take batteries back! I have an alarm system that I was trying to do a self diagnostics to see if the malfunction was caused by my old battery. I put the new battery I bought and the alarm system didn't work so I now have to call the company for them to come out as that was not the problem. They won't return it because the have "no way" of determining if I damaged the battery! Come on! So I'm out $$$. read more

I would give them less. I purchased a battery for my truck less than 2 years ago. The battery would not hold a charge. I was told by one of their employees that I needed to charge the battery fully and then take off the negative cable for a couple of days. If the truck started it was the alternator. After 2 days the truck started. I made and appointment for the alternator to be replaced at a local mechanic. After running initial tests the mechanic said "I would love to sell you an alternator but you don't need one, your battery is shot." I then took the battery to batteries plus and they ran a test and said that the battery was just fine. I took the truck back to the mechanic who ran full diagnostics on the truck and came up with an error code for the OnStar in my truck. I then took my truck to a certified GM/Chevy dealership for a complete work up and testing. The truck was kept and tested all night and the OnStar code was because of a low voltage problem. Their final conclusion was that nothing was drawing off the battery and test Results were, "Replace Battery". Batteries plus refuses to warranty the battery that was tested and failed by 2 independent mechanics who very well could have sold me an alternator and went about their business. I am now sitting in a parking lot waiting for a different company to bring me a new battery. The only saving grace is that I am retired and have nothing to do and married to an attorney. Next stop is small claims court where I will waste their time as they have mine for the last month or so. Also according to the manager Wesley, the warrantied battery does come out of his pocket. When I came back two hours later they told me they had damaged my power port and lcd screen and it wouldn't be fixed until the next day. 18 hours later I had my phone back and is still not fixed right. Yes, most times it is not a big deal to replace a battery. But, if you are looking for a special type of battery, or some assistance replacing a battery, this place is great. I've been here a couple of times now to get replacement batteries for my garage door openers. On my last visit, I was seriously in the store for less than 5 minutes. In that time the guy selected the right battery, installed said battery, and rang me up. Cost was only like $2 as well. Totally reasonable for not having to deal with the hassle of trying to open up the opener, figure out what kind of battery to get, etc. And, the staff there have always been very helpful. read more

All my previous visits to this store were quite positive. Recently, my 5 year old battery was showing signs of being tired; however, it had never not started. So I took it in to get it tested. The associate said that it had a parasitic draw and that he could not replace it until the source of the draw was found and repaired. And my car died a couple miles away and Dominic just clocked out and offered to come help us take out the old battery and put the new one in on his own time.
