the battery in my car key fob was low. i hadn't replaced it in a few years so wasn't surprised that it was time! i knew i replaced the battery prior at Batteries Plus so I headed there. They have a private lot with parking right in front of the door. I walked in was greeted and told the worker I needed new batteries. I noticed my car door wouldn't unlock with the keyless remote and I also noticed I couldn't even get a sound out of my car with the keyless remote pointing at it. Luckily my car has a keypad to open the door and was able to drive my car to the nearest Batteries Plus Bulbs. Luckily their store hours still remain the same due to Covid, so I got to the store before it closed at 7pm (on a Saturday). Upon arrival, I noticed it wasn't busy inside, and about 4 workers inside, three out of 4 wore masks for adhere to Covid guidelines. No sign on the door that a mask was required, but I proceeded to wear one anyway. Comes to find out they can do services which include tablet/cell phone repair, key cutting/key fob replacement for cars, trucks, boats, ATVs, plus car battery replacement, recycling and they also sell bulbs of different kinds. Also cell phone accessories which was interesting. They were able to test my keyless remote - for free- to determine if I needed a new remote or just a new battery. This took about 15 minutes, and as a result, it was a new battery needed (my keyless remote uses 2 batteries). I only had to pay for the batteries and I got the lifetime warranty that can get them replaced for free if my keyless remote dies again. All for under 25 bucks! I'll take it! Better than buying a new keyless remote for $200! The service rep was friendly and explained the warranty and everything clearly before finalizing my purchase. Also, I appreciated the reprogramming of my keyless remote also to make sure it synced with my car. Went to Batteries Plus on August 18, 2023 around 1:00 pm and I swear I'll never go back. First you have to dodge the craters in the small parking lot which have been there for a long time and have grown since the place is not well maintained either by the store or the property owner. Once I got inside I had two people ahead of me with the first customer getting a new car battery which she needed to have installed. I had already witnessed the lookup of what she was going to need and the battery pulled. All the while I stepped out of line to search for what I needed being mindful I had to watch my spot in the line which was third. I recall the last time there the line was from the counter to the door as this is a very small space doing business. None the less there was only one employee working the counter and not once did he greet anyone or say ' I'll be with you just as soon as I finish with my current customer.' It was as if we weren't there at all. If there was anyone else working, he never called them come from the back to help out. After about 10mins or so I came to the conclusion my business was not needed at this particular store and felt I'd be better served placing an Amazon order online for what I needed. These guys are the BEST. Anytime I have visited their store I have received excellent service. This morning my car battery died. I had to have AAA jumpstart it. I drove right over to Batteries plus. They had just opened so I was able to get assistance right away. I kid you not I was on my way in 10 minutes. The old battery had been rattling around but the clerk fixed that too. I went there Saturday September 26th where I needed to get a new phone battery for my Samsung Galaxy 9+ Jordan was the Tech that ended up fixing my phone battery, since my phone was barely charging, it was a wait time since I did go late that Saturday afternoon, it was definitely a busy Saturday. Batteries Plus specialize in hard-to-find batteries, energy-efficient lighting, cell phone repair, key fob replacements, free car battery replacement, and Batteries Plus repair iPhone screen as well as battery replacement, iPad screen repair, battery replacement, and same as for Samsung phones. I've came there for new car battery before, two key fob replacements, and my most recent visit my Samsung Galaxy 9+ battery replacement, and each time I was there Jordan fixed the issues. Also, I did initially forget the person name who helped me on Saturday September 26th, and I called the location on Lafayette Rd where I spoken with Zach so helpful. I forgot to mention that at first my battery wasn't keeping a charge after Jordan placed a new battery in my phone, it was after 6pm, he was willing to stay until 7:30pm to get my phone working, and he realized the battery he put in my phone was dead. FYI update Alert alert Batteries and Bulbs' manager Zach Jones made good on his promise to fix the problem. He advised I take the phone to the Carmel store where master tech extraordinaire Tony determined the screen was damaged as well. I can only assume by the previous tech at the Lafayette Rd store. Any who Bill and Tony at the Westfield Rd store were awesome and my son is now playing "Helix Jump" with no issues! UNFORTUNATELY I have one big problem problem to report:WAREHOUSE MIKE yelled at me, was extremely rude, and all but accused me of trying to steal from the company. Sad individual. However store employees Jordan on Lafayette Rd and Tony and Bill on Westfield Rd restored my faith in the company. You SHOULD use Batteries and Bulbs for your battery and bulb needs! read more

I have never been into one of these stores before but I needed a new car battery, so I gave it a try. The place was packed when I came in. 2 customers in front of me 3 or 4 having some sort of service already in the works and 3 or 4 walked in right behind me. They had 3 people working as far as I could tell. They handled the flow with a smooth easy going vibe, they all had a great sense of humor. They really knew their stuff. I watched them change out a watch battery, several key fabs and 2 or 3 cell phone batteries while I was there. They were so quick and professional. Took about 20 min for Jordan to change out my car battery for me and he offered a cheaper service of just charging it first! Given that I live in rural IN and just happened to be in the big city I had him replace with a new one. But I was just so impressed with all their knowledge and confidence in service, I had to write my 1st Yelp review. 100% recommend this place to anyone battery or light bulb related! read more

I took my car in for a battery and was told it needed a new alternator. I was also told to get somewhere fast as the car was going to die. I was told I would have less than 20 miles before the car came to a halt. I ended up having my car towed to a dealer based on that information. The dealer said the alternator was great and that the battery was just very low. They put in a new battery but needless to say I did not need to have it towed. Not a good experience. I wrote to the manager about these concerns and no response which shows a lack of concern for customer service. Never heard a word from the management in reply to our concerns. read more
