Mike is da man! So I recently had my iPhone 11pro's battery replaced here. After the service, I noticed that my phone started making a strange colicky noise. Two staff members thought it was haptic vibration but my phone never made that noise before. I asked for a full refund, which they complied without any hassle. When I returned to the store the next day to get my phone back with the original battery, Mike explained to me he found a problem in the phone. As I suspected all along, he told me it was a loose screw. He tightened it for me just in case I wanted to keep their new battery. The service was very professional. I don't usually like to exchange opinions back and forth with sales technicians. I almost didn't go back because of it. I'm glad I did. Daughter got used car but needed key fob. Went to Batteries plus ordered and paid up front for Nissan key fob. Two weeks later went in to pick up and young man was very frustrated who was supposed to program. Same young man was very frustrated that he could not get fob programmed and eventually said " sorry our key fobs aren't guaranteed to work." Daughter had to go to work. I found out later that this occurred. I reached out to someone at this location who was apologetic and offered to program it for her. Set an appt. And she went back to this store where the original person was behind the register with the person who I spoke to. She was then told without this person attempting to troubleshoot at all that they couldn't help her . Not impressed at all poor customer service - buyer beware. BTW this cost by daughter over $200 plus dollars for absolutely nothing. **Please note response from business did not have a second person double check first persons work. I needed to have my Key FOBs replaced. First, the staff was very friendly and professional. I brought in my mess of a Key FOB and the replacements and they were totally helpful with regards to how they would handle it. It took roughly 30 minutes, but they were able to program both replacements and they made sure they worked with my car. They also had an awesome deal where you could get two FOBs programmed for one and gave me this discount. I also purchased some light bulbs at a discounted rate for a promotion they had going on. The store was clean and organized. The two associates I spoke with kept me informed during the process of reprogramming and helped out other customers, too. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to avoid going to the dealership and getting hammered with high prices for replacing their Key FOBs. Batteries Plus Bulbs is one of those specialty places I go when I need a randomly odd battery that no one else even acknowledges actually exists. The Batteries Plus Bulbs folks can usually scramble around and come up with what I need. They are cheerful to make a refund when a purchased item doesn't work for the intended purpose. They have a lot of gadgets and bulbs which I have not explored but I think they do a good job filling a niche market. Bottom line: best watch battery changing experience I've ever had. My watch battery went out at a very inopportune time (as it always seems to - it's like the watch knows when the least convenient time to give way is). Desperate for a quick change and hoping to avoid the crowds at the mall at this time of year (I usually go to a jeweler or department store jewelry department for the change), I asked a friend. She mentioned trying Batteries Plus, and after a quick search online, I found the place and headed straight over. Not 5 minutes after I walked in the store my battery had been replaced and the time and date re-set, all for the whopping fee of $6.99 + tax. I'd never paid less than $10 for a battery change, and that usually took a few hours to turn around. No less than two people greeted me and offered help within two minutes of my entering the store. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. And this was on a Sunday when the store was pretty busy. The guys and gals always know their stuff and sometimes give me a 10% discount if I don't order online . However I always get my watch batteries done at a jewelry store . Also I get all my rechargeable batteries from the store and they last forever . The more the merrier I think . I have been successful in charging regular alkaline batteries recently . I work in the plaza of this batteries plus and they consistently always open later than what their hours posted say. About a month ago I went there to get my phone screen fixed. Everything seemed great, they were super helpful and got it done in record time. That all being said I had to return a few days later because the new screen they applied was faulty and rendered my phone useless. That alone I would have gotten over if it wasn't for the employee, Rick, who originally fixed it (read: not fixed at all) not only texting me to annoyingly flirt with me, but also messaging me on my Facebook (how he got all my information to find me I'm not sure). It was incredibly unprofessional and downright unsettling. The only reason I would ever return to this location is out of sheer necessity and my discount for working in the plaza, but otherwise I would stay away.
