    Batteries, batteries, everywhere batteries. Car? cell, laptop? Apparently this store just opened in west Orlando and I received a $5 discount to celebrate. . . I was so sick and tired of my cell phone not holding a charge, took it to the Sprint store, and was told the battery was dead. . .may it rest in peace. However, getting me set up with another battery was not a big deal at all here. The staff was very knowledgeable, and gave me some great tips on how to make my new cell phone battery last longer. I'm also pleased the battery also has a one year warranty.

First upon arrival the place is very sketchy looking with nothing on the door but a hung up banner that was half falling down. When I walked in, I thought there was no employee but as I approached the counter I realized that the employee was dead asleep in the chair. This was in the middle of the day. I wasn't sure if I should try waking him up, so I walked back out and back in to trigger the sound of the door alarm. They don't take any form of card payment, only cash app, Zelle, or cash (definitely not suspicious at all). I didn't get a receipt and I had to ask the employee if he needed my information so that he could call me when it was ready. He seemed flustered and said it was his first day. I'm assuming the fact he just woke up didn't help. I called the owner about two hours in to ask for an update and he said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When he got to the store it was in fact not ready and took an additional 20 minutes. When I got the tablet back, the screen was "fixed" but the iPad did not work when trying to touch it. We brought it back in for the employee to say it was a "defective part". We had to wait an additional three hours for it to be corrected. I will say the owner was responsive via phone calls and yelp but that is the only positive I found. The price point is low, but there are competitors in the area that charge similar rates, I would recommend looking into those.

The manager apologized for the delay which wasn't on their end. Asurion customer service is horrible and took 3 reps before it was resolved which took approximately an hour just to get a repair ticket number. I watched them deal with other customers and gave great customer service that I'm going to shout these gentlemen out. Thank you thank you thank you guys for taking that extra care and talking with Asurion and getting my son's phone fixed.

    I should note at the beginning of this review that the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that…read morethe employees at this store were always very friendly and presented a great attitude. But beyond that, my experience was very bad. I first went in there for them to look at my son's Xbox, which had been broken for a couple months. As they were looking at it, the employees at the front desk sold me on a monthly repair plan that was around $50/month and included 5 devices in my household. If any of them break, I bring it in and they repair it at no additional cost. Seems simple? Not so much. After about two months, I brought my son's iPad in which had a very cracked screen. I was then told that I needed to submit a ticket through Asurion, which I guess is the third-party company that they use for the insurance (I was told nothing about Asurion when I signed up for this service). It was implied when I signed up that I would simply come in with the broken device and they would fix it. Once the ticket is submitted, I then leave the iPad and they fix it. It took me about 30 minutes to submit the ticket and everything seemed to go through fine and I dropped the iPad off with them. I came back a week later and was told that there was an error in the system so they weren't able to do anything with the iPad and I needed to cancel that ticket with Asurion and resubmit another one. I did this exactly as they said and submitted a new ticket which also went through fine. Another three or four days went by and I went into the store and they told me that my new ticket also had an error. They sympathized with me that they were also frustrated with asurion but offered no help whatsoever to get this situation resolved. I then called asurion and asked them what to do and they told me that the ticket was perfectly fine in their system and to talk to you break i fix about it. After a ton of back and forth, I had no option other than to give up. At this point I have paid for three months of the monthly service and wasted over a month of my time and the iPad was not fixed and they offered no help in getting it pushed through. Nor did they offer any kind of help with working on the iPad. I would not necessarily avoid this store, as they probably do good work, but I would strongly recommend DO NOT sign up for any of the monthly repair plans. They seem to be a scam, or at least in my case they were.
