I should note at the beginning of this review that the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that the employees at this store were always very friendly and presented a great attitude. But beyond that, my experience was very bad. I first went in there for them to look at my son's Xbox, which had been broken for a couple months. As they were looking at it, the employees at the front desk sold me on a monthly repair plan that was around $50/month and included 5 devices in my household. If any of them break, I bring it in and they repair it at no additional cost. Seems simple? Not so much. After about two months, I brought my son's iPad in which had a very cracked screen. I was then told that I needed to submit a ticket through Asurion, which I guess is the third-party company that they use for the insurance (I was told nothing about Asurion when I signed up for this service). It was implied when I signed up that I would simply come in with the broken device and they would fix it. Once the ticket is submitted, I then leave the iPad and they fix it. It took me about 30 minutes to submit the ticket and everything seemed to go through fine and I dropped the iPad off with them. I came back a week later and was told that there was an error in the system so they weren't able to do anything with the iPad and I needed to cancel that ticket with Asurion and resubmit another one. I did this exactly as they said and submitted a new ticket which also went through fine. Another three or four days went by and I went into the store and they told me that my new ticket also had an error. They sympathized with me that they were also frustrated with asurion but offered no help whatsoever to get this situation resolved. I then called asurion and asked them what to do and they told me that the ticket was perfectly fine in their system and to talk to you break i fix about it. After a ton of back and forth, I had no option other than to give up. At this point I have paid for three months of the monthly service and wasted over a month of my time and the iPad was not fixed and they offered no help in getting it pushed through. Nor did they offer any kind of help with working on the iPad. I would not necessarily avoid this store, as they probably do good work, but I would strongly recommend DO NOT sign up for any of the monthly repair plans. They seem to be a scam, or at least in my case they were. read more

James (Manager) and Trevor gave us great customer service while repairing my son's iPhone and dealing with Asurion customer service. The manager apologized for the delay which wasn't on their end. Asurion customer service is horrible and took 3 reps before it was resolved which took approximately an hour just to get a repair ticket number. I watched them deal with other customers and gave great customer service that I'm going to shout these gentlemen out. Avoid this location. Originally I had gone to the Clermont store to have my iPad screen replaced. They did not have the black screen so I went over to the Ocoee location to have it replaced. Clermont quoted me $149 to have it replaced this location, Quoted me $199, I questioned to the gentleman because $50 more didn't make any sense to me. He said he would repair it for $149 is I signed up for some kind of home repair system. What a rip off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We sent our DS here to repair the joystick. They said it would be about a week. We called a week later for an update, no ETA is given and we're told to call again later. We call the next week, and they said the part was received but "lost" so they'll have to order it again. Call the next week, no update once again but we're told that something "looks weird" with our information in their system. We asked to speak to manager so we can figure out what that means and are told there's no manager on duty so no one can help us but we can try calling another day. A month finally passes and they tell us we may be able to pick up our Nintendo DS today. We don't receive a call so we show up to the store. They give us our DS and tell us it's unrepairable due to water damage. That's fine however they didn't check that the first month or first 5 minutes they had our device? A month of our time was wasted. We were not communicated with whatsoever. Still never talked to a manager to figure out how this whole process was so terribly managed upon requesting his/her presence at the store. Icing on the cake, we get home and check the sensor for water damage and it's completely fine. They said the sensor was triggered thus leaving it unrepairable but the sensor isn't triggered AT ALL. These people are liars. Waited a month for answers and we were fed a lie that can be easily disproven. How unprofessional. This customer service and communication is unbelievable. I wouldn't trust this company with your product at all. If we wouldn't have called and followed up, who knows when they would have contacted us. Who knows what they do with peoples products who aren't diligent themselves. Who know what other lies they are telling customers. WARNING, think twice before sending your stuff here! read more

Poor Customer Service throughout the whole staff including manager that I had to wait for on 6 different occasion to try to get a return on a screen replacement for a screen that was not utilized. instead was turned around because I mentioned how the phone after getting my screen replace because I couldn't see started a boot loop after leaving the shop. was told by two different people that a return can be done and after a week literally of going back and forth and wasting my gas money and time was told no refund can be issued because I supposedly did not come back in right after and I indeed went up the next day to show the issue. I really don't enjoy giving bad reviews but even more than that I hate bad business. I came in after my laptop stopped working one day. I was in a rush to get my files - the laptop could wait. I let the guy at the front know this and long story short, that part was great. One of the techs got my files transferred to an external drive. Then everything went down hill. I guess there was some type of miscommunication - it happens. The tech walks out with the drive and my laptop/charger and says I'm good to go. I let him know I still needed my laptop diagnosed to which he replied he wasn't told that but would go back and reopen the ticket and call me in a few days - great. Two weeks go by and I haven't heard anything so I stop by. When I ask about my laptop they look in the system and there is no record of it being there. I told him what happened so he goes to the back to look for it. I sit there for about 15 minutes when he finally comes back out with my laptop and says "sorry for the wait you're good to go!". I asked "do you have my charger as well?" - he goes back into the back to look... maybe like 3 minutes later I hear his manager say "just tell him I was using the universal charger". He comes out and tells me that. At this point - the dude at the front is looking nervous and he's been nice so far so I'm not going to go off on him. But I'm like, "seriously?" and he looks at me with this blank look. What's more likely - that a tech savvy guy decided to bring in his laptop without his charger or that the charger was lost somewhere in the back , especially when it took you 15 minutes fumbling around to find the laptop? Guess it's really my fault for not hassling the first tech to let me hover over his shoulder while he reopened the ticket and instead trusted him to do it. The CHERRY on top was when I asked - "soooo did they diagnose what's going on with it?". he replied "well uhhh... there is no open work order so, uh.". LOL so essentially my laptop was sitting on a shelf for 2 weeks without anyone touching it, working on it, or seeing it and thinking to themselves "wow this has been here for a bit, wonder why?" But again - I know how business goes - miscommunication happens and if you don't cross your t's and dot your i's, no matter how friendly the person(s) you're doing business with is, you're bound to get the short straw. Again I really don't like speaking poorly of businesses - especially ones in my town - but bad business is bad, guys. Brought my phone in for repair. The battery was bulging and causing the screen to pop up... Otherwise the phone functioned perfectly 100%. Received a quote to repair the phone using OEM parts. The quote was much higher than I expected, but they seemed to know what they were doing so I had them proceed with the repair. After I received the phone back they said they fully tested the phone and it passed all tests. After using the phone for several days I found that the vibration feature was not working. I took the phone back to the store to see if maybe there was a cable that didn't get reconnected or something when putting it back together, rather than offer to take a look, they immediately stated that I would have to pay (I believe another $150) to have the phone repaired. I tried contacting UBreakiFix regarding the issue and they said they would get back to me, but never did. I would not recommend uBreakiFix to anyone else. What I thought was a reputable company, does not seem to be. Very disappointed. read more

Called to make an appointment. Was apparently transferred to a call center. I set an appointment time up for exactly what device needed to be fixed and what to be fixed for 12pm. The email confirmation was 1pm. Should've been the first red flag. Drove 30 minutes across town to be told they don't even have the machine to fix it and that none of the other locations could do it. I was referred to this location after no other Orlando location could repair my Samsung Fold 2 outer screen. Damon Z the manager assisted me and said he had the screen and tools. He then quoted me a price of $285.00. I told him samsung.com have it for $139 and previous store said $152.99. He said no it's $285 outer and $600 inner. Both wrong bc samsung offer 1st inner repair for $150.00 on Fold 2. After 45 minutes of him play calling someone, he then said ok it's $153.99 and the $285 was the old price. He blamed it on the system but funny both previous stores I spoke with told me the price and had it as $153.99 in their systems. read more

I bought in a laptop on which I spilled beer. Not an ideal situation, and it caused keys to stick and not perform. I relied on the expertise of the technicians/staff to help me understand what to do about the problem. I was not expecting a miracle fix and was aware the laptop might not be able to be repaired. Sheldon seemed very helpful at first, however, he'd made me fearful of even turning the laptop on while in the store. Though his is capable of providing information, it came across as "putting in the fear of God." A data transfer was needed to which I agreed, and I started the process of ordering a new computer from Dell. Then my laptop got lost in the system. Sheldon said the work would be completed in two or three days. Five days later I called and learned nothing had been done. Jordan, the temporary worker, got it done in about two hours and discounted the price of the transfer. When I opened the laptop at home, the keyboard was working just fine. I called the store to ask questions about using the machine and to talk with a manager about the customer service I wasn't happy with. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything else. As the manager wasn't in the store, the assistant manager, Benjamin, took the call. He could not answer my questions about using the computer, he admitted the intake process has been done incorrectly, and there were no notes in the system as to what had been done on the machine other than the data transfer. He could not confirm it had been cleaned, only saying that he knew the guy who would have done that and he was a good guy. On the 20 minute call, Benjamin, was disrespectful and condescending. He implied I was "inebriated" when the spill happened (his word) and used the phrase "not to be sexist." He was laughing at me by the end of the call. This is what he considers customer service and professionalism? The store will also promote the assurion plus protection system. That's probably protocol, but be aware that all business partnerships are financially beneficial to both parties. read more

This is the second phone i have brought there and both times my phone hasn't worked properly after! They have had my phone for over a week and still have it now. I took it for a cracked screen now my camera and network isn't working. I had to go and buy a new phone. I asked for a refund and they said they would have to put on my old crack screen and then test the phone. Whatever diagnostic they did, messed up the software on the phone and they are still trying to fix it and won't issue a refund! Would not recommend them EVER! read more

The assistant manager has poor customer service and escalates issues vs defusing them. Isn't worthy of the title, it reflects badly on the company. The head manager is super friendly and so was the rest of the staff. I've dealt with the assistant manager on 2 separate occasions, both on the phone and in person. DO NOT GO HERE!! Warranty scam!! I had my screen repaired at UBreakiFix on my Galaxy Note 10. The repair tech sold me on a liquid glass screen protector that came with a one year extended warranty for $70. Expensive, but worth the cost over another $250 screen repair. I dropped my phone and the screen broke so I called and asked to schedule an appointment for my repair. I was well within the one year period and had my receipt as proof. The manager told me that I was supposed to have an app loaded on my phone which I needed to register within 30 days of my repair. I told him that it was the first I've heard of that but he insisted that it stated that on the box. I drove to the location and showed him the box which did not say anything about it on there. He then apologized for his tech failing to tell me I needed to register it and asked me to call the corporate office. I spoke to corporate and they told me tough luck. I could pay another $250 for another repair and they would give me another warranty "for free." REALLY? You mean the warranty that I already paid for that you didn't honor? So not only did I pay $250 for the repair, I then paid $70 for a warranty they didn't honor. They admitted they made a mistake by failing to tell me to register the warranty and admitted that it says absolutely nothing about registration on the box.
