The minute I got there the owner (Winnie?) stopped what she was doing and opened the phone for inspection on the spot in front of me. She even offered to provide repair parts from another 'donor' phone she had on hand in the interests of completing the repair while I waited. I know what a highly skilled technician looks like, as I am in the car dealer auto repair business 30 years and have had many master technicians work for me. Winnie has amazing technical skills as well as empathy and provides old school customer service. She diagnosed the problem, unfortunately the phone was fried and not repairable. She refused to charge me for the time she spent (30 mins) disassembling, testing, and putting the phone back together. I was so impressed with the entire experience that the next time I need a device repaired I will ship it from California to iRepair rather than take it to a local shop in my home town because I now know that no one could ever come close to the skills, honesty, integrity, abilities, and prices, all done with a smile. Didn't explain much and what he did tell us was way over our heads. $70 later we walked out with some new cords, adapters and a $30 case for my wife. She looked online for a new case and found one just like theirs for $9.99. Took the $30 back and they gave me credit. Then adapters didn't work. Took them back. Then one of the car adapters was the wrong one. He had me use the old one but rigged it up to use the old one since he didn't have the right one in stock. It was just one thing after another and I ended up there at least 3 times. I'm reluctant to use them again esp after reading more unfavorable reviews. They need more staff.

This seems absurd to me given AMD is ~30% of commercial CPUs. He then tried to upsell me by asking if I wanted to get a "real" intel CPU/motherboard combo. I feel that I have essentially paid 100 dollars to be told something I already knew.
