    Debbie sold a house that we were living in as renters. All the other houses in the neighborhood…read moreflew off the market within a week, but not ours. Why? The house was listed on the market way too early (and then she had the nerve to ask if we would move out before our lease was up). She had showings booked and then increased the price of the house by about $60,000. She also did not have the homeowner make any repairs or upgrades that he had told us he planned to. The shower door was literally hanging off the hinges, and a little pressure washing would have gone a long way. She wanted a premium price without having to put in any of the work and was banking on a crazy seller's market to make that happen. As a result, we had potential buyers tramping through our house multiple times a week for months, and she did not care since it did not inconvenience her. She was upset when we declined any showings (I work 24 hour shifts at a hospital and did not want people coming when I was trying to sleep the following day, plus we had a baby and a toddler and 2 cats to account for). She never even thanked us for all the inconvenience. She finally found a desperate buyer who had to quickly get settled in the school district. A buyer's agent told us they were unable to get in contact with her because she wouldn't answer her cell phone. I will never willingly do business with Debbie (even if it was her buyer trying to buy my house). There are too many great agents in Charleston. Look elsewhere.

I went by one of their rentals posted on zillow and it had broken windows?! Someone has been breaking into the home they are wanting people to be SERIOUS applicants for, but cannot care to keep up with the property. Applications are not free?! Sharon Shotwell does not care about her properties and had the audacity to ask why I am contacting them if I am not interested - clearly I was before finding out you all could care less that the properties you all have online that someone would be living in are being vandalized! So because I changed my name on Google that means that I'm not a real person because I made an anonymous name that is now an option on Google?? at this point you have now harassed me by sitting here and saying that I'm the one that vandalized the property when that couldn't be further from the truth. Continue going on here and replying a month after the fact creating nothing but issues that's fine. You all want people to apply to homes that are damaged and you get upset when people are in town and actually see the home and the pictures are not what it is not to mention you all can't reply back to anything other than like said saying to apply to a home that you can't see. So yes, I reported you to Zillow and I also contacted pelican properties because it seems like you really don't work for them because any property manager usually doesn't get off before 5 o'clock on Fridays, which you were contacted about the damage to the home before 5 o'clock on a Friday and yes, I thought that was being a good Samaritan. The only contact I got back from you was the next week saying oh well "why do you want to see the house if the window is broken?" Really?! not even A thank you for letting me know or apologies that you rode by our house and it was like that. Reported to whoever you want because I have eye witnesses that it wasn't me who damaged this home. I pulled up to the location. I got your number off the sign because of course that wasn't on Zillow because you don't want anybody contacting you. You just wanna make money off the application fees quite disgusting that this is how trying to find a home nowadays is. Karma is nothing but real girl so continue putting people who are doing nothing but trying to look for homes through all of this crazy nonsense.

Our 18 year old son, a senior in High school, was recently diagnosed with lymphom/lekumia and we were looking for a place to rent closer to MUSC because he is currently inpatient undergoing chemo treatment and we live out in Cane Bay. We asked if we had to fill out the application form for our son in order to see the property. There was no humanness or concern. Just a flat "everyone over 18 must fill out the application" response. Seems like $195 non refundable application fee for mom, dad, and son is quite steep to just get an appointment to view the home. An online video is not the same as viewing the property and feeling the space in person to see if it will work for our needs during this extremely difficult time for our family. So sad so many businesses have fallen by the wayside when it comes to customer service and compassion for humanity. Truly hope you and your families never have to experience what our family is going through during this challenging time as we support our son as he battles stage 4 T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukemia. I can assure you that this is not a scam as we are literally at MUSC right now on the 10th floor with our son. We hope that other potential renters also see this note and lend a heed of caution to doing business with this rental company. I cannot stress what a difficult time this is for our family. Sorry that the devastating news of our son's diagnosis on April 17 seems like a scam to you and your company. But I cannot stress assure you that this is a very real and scary situation for us. We are literally trying to find housing close to the hospital so we can have a place to cook meal and do laundry while our son is inpatient receiving chemotherapy on the 10th floor of the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital (cancer and blood disorders).     I was asking to host for a VRBO rental. How much it would be to add an additional night? Instead of…read moregiving me a quote they just charged my card over $1,500 for a second night. I asked them what in the world. I just wanted a quote and so they canceled my entire stay. I then had to rebook a home while the host ignored me for a whole day so my group had a place to stay on our vacation that was approaching in just a week. I then received an email from the initial property saying that I would not get a refund for what totals to $2,500. I reached out to the host again. They were unhelpful at first and then just began ignoring me and still are. I then reached out to VRBO and after twisting their arm the VRBO agent assured me two different times I would get a full refund. Now they are telling me I will only get a refund for the difference in my stays as if they are comparable. The first house was just a couple hundred ft from the beach with five bedrooms. The replacement house is very far from the beach with only three bedrooms. My group will be five or six adults. No couples. Most recently the best I have been offered is a refund of the difference that comes up about $500 short. They say they are working on it but I have no faith because they initially told me I would get a full refund and now I'm having to spend hours and hours on this. To be clear, this page, premier property management Charleston is the host that is making me waste all this time and holding $2500 of mine hostage. Her name is Luca.
