Charles' services were excellent and reliable. He replies quickly to calls/texts and is very familiar with in and outbound flights. He runs his business out of his house, with a locked lot on the side and rear of his house. He stated that he also has an additional gated lot down the block. His rates are very reasonable. Compared to online rates at other commercial long term parking lots, his was about 30% cheaper for me for 10 days (YMMV). If you communicate clearly with him, he'll get you to the airport with no wait time, both for drop off and pick up. He said he has a 7 day minimum, but on slower seasons, for returning customers, he may be flexible, so I'll probably call him and ask even if I'm away on a shorter trip. Here is my overall experience: 1) I called in advance to verify that he had space for my dates, got a quote, and reserved a spot. DEPARTURE: 2) I called him around 20 minutes before arrival and he was waiting at the front of his gate when I arrived (Google maps was about 30 feet off). 3) We loaded my luggage into his SUV and my family got in his vehicle. 4) He inspected my car for damage and made notes of all existing dents/scratches for me to verify. 5) I paid him the quoted fee, and he gave me a business card/receipt with my mileage and the paid price. (Up til here, the process took about 10 minutes) 6) He drove us to the airport, which is a little less than 10 minutes away). ARRIVAL: 7) Upon landing, I was delayed a bit, but he texted me first to check on the status of my arrival. I responded that I had landed. 8) I was delayed in customs for about 30 minutes. I let him know and he said he'd be waiting outside, and told me which pick up area he is waiting at. 9) When we got out, he was at there with his SUV and took us back to the lot. 10) We loaded up our luggage, thanked him, and drove off. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The reason I'll be returning to Charles in the future is that I can expect to get to the airport at the expected time and won't have to wait for a shuttle at the airport while tired after a long flight. If I need long term parking out of JFK again, I'll be calling Charles. read more

We have nothing but great things to say about C&D Long Term Parking for JFK! I want to say I'm grateful for those who came before us and left reviews...it's because of them that we felt this was the right way for us to go. We feel the rate was beyond reasonable: $96 for 8 days for a Ford Fusion. Other than calling to make our initial reservation all we had to do was get to their address and they took it from there. While you might be a little apprehensive (like we were) that you park at a residence...this is exactly what we found to put our minds at ease. No matter where you park concerning airports there is always some risk of break-ins but parking with C&D gave us the additional peace-of-mind we needed because our vehicle was locked up in their driveway (at the end of a cul-de-sac) behind their GATED privacy fence. Once we drove our car up into the driveway, we all walked around it to make notes of any current scratches/dents, paid our fee in cash (paying by credit card would have been just a little higher at $105), put our luggage in the back of the shuttle (plenty of room for a family in their Escalade) and we were off to the airport. It was such a quick and stress-free process! They just asked that we call when we landed upon our return. We called after debarking the plane and on our way to passport control. Unfortunately, the shuttle was already on their way as we found ourselves held up by the long lines and an unforeseen issue. We felt badly that they had to wait longer than expected but our overall experience with C&D was exactly as we hoped/imagined based on customer reviews and pics of the parking area! C&D Parking is just plain wonderful. I have been parking for decades at a big well known parking location at JFK. I just decided to look at something new, as I needed parking for 23 days, and everyone was expensive. I happened upon C&D, gave them a call, and was impressed right away. I understand now, how so many people love Charles and his parking. Charles is located in a residential neighborhood, not far from JFK. The area is safe, clean and friendly. Charles guaranteed my reservation over the phone and asked me to call when I was 10 minutes away. I got lost with all the streets sounding the same i.e. 146th street, 146th road, 146th avenue, and called Charles who guided me right to his house. Charles was waiting for me. Charles unloaded my luggage from my car into his, checked my car for any scratches or damage, had me write down all our flight information, and we were on our way. I paid by credit card upfront, and Charles added the cost of the credit card use to the cash price. This is good business and I was glad to be able to use my credit card. The receipt came to my email immediately. Charles asked me to call when our plane arrived back at JFK, 23 days later. We were delayed in Europe for one day, and I had my son call Charles to explain. No problem. Charles was waiting for us when we arrived back at JFK. He loaded our luggage in his car, unloaded our luggage into our car at his house, and off we went. This is a terrific service, and I would be remiss if I did not write a very complimentary review. I was planning an extended (3 week) vacation with my family, and was mulling over how we would handle our ground transportation between our NJ home and JFK airport. Taxi cost, including tolls and tip would have been around $ 200 each way, and besides, I was hesitant to depend on a taxi since we were embarking on a non-refundable overseas trip, and could not afford any last-minute screw-ups. From earlier experience with long-term parking, I estimated that the cost of driving ourselves and parking at an off-airport long-term parking (plus our own gas and tolls) would be about as much as the taxi, so it was a bit of a toss-up. Eventually I came across this business and contacted Charles by phone. He sounded very polite and reasonable, so I decided to drive to JFK and leave our car with him. I must admit to being a bit perplexed on arrival when I did not see a typical parking lot. However, Charles's manner quickly reassured me that we were in good hands and that our car would be safe. After we got our luggage out, he immediately drove us right to our departure terminal, and upon our return he came right out to get us once he knew we were through customs and had our baggage. If you need to park near JFK Airport, just read my story about how awesome Charles is. I was traveling from New Castle County, Delaware to Central Jakarta, Indonesia. I'm a former New Yorker who lived in the city from birth to age 43. I got a better fare flying out of JFK than out of Philly, and I wasn't worried about having to go to New York. I have an apartment in Jakarta. But depending upon the length of layovers and the number of connections, a one-way trip can take anywhere between 30 and 45 hours. This one was no different. After I got out of Charles's vehicle, and he helped me with my bag, I had a feeling of overwhelming devastation as he drove away. I have two iPods with over 20,000 songs on each, and I had left them both in my car on Charles's property. I checked in for my flight and then thought that since I had plenty of time, I would give him a call and see whether he might be able to retrieve them for me. He happily did so and met me at the curb with them and a smile on his face. He rescued my long trip from what otherwise would have been isolated silence. When I returned, Charles was there to pick me up as promised. With this parking option, you not only get cheap parking. Long term parking here was so easy and affordable! We went on a long trip to Africa (June 15 to 25, 2018) and we called Charles based on the excellent review many had given on C & D Cheap Long Term Parking in JFK and affordable rates. I had already called them and made a booking with them in advance. We went to his place based on GPS and my family was worried that we found no-one on the street. Texted Charles and he was there in 5 minutes. He took the money, was very professional, asked us to park in his space, noted the miles on the vehicle in his notebook, went around the vehicle for any big dents etc, took our phone number, our return flight number and dropped us immediately in the airport (5 - 7 minutes drive to JFK as others have stated). On our return, we texted him once we were in immigration and Charles came to the airport in OUR car. It took less than five minutes of wait (for Charles to reach the airport) once we were out of the luggage section of the airport (VALET SERVICE by Charles) and were on our way home after a long flight back to USA. Thank you Charles....you were professional, courteous, punctual and cared very much for our well-being. My family (wife and 2 small children) and I drove down from Boston to fly out of JFK to go to Italy for a 2-week vacation...I elected to drive down from Boston instead of taking a connecting flight because the cost of a connecting flight for 4 people didn't make sense to me. The only concern I had had before making the decision to drive the 3.5 hours was the parking situation and the related cost. Once I found Charles and his service I put my faith in it and it could not have worked out any better. It was easy and safe. The lot is secured. When we arrived at his lot, Charles transferred all of our bags from our car to his SUV and drove us directly to the terminal. We arrived at JFK in about 15 minutes. He helped again with the bags. Upon our arrival he picked us up just as he had dropped us off. He was as prompt and helped us again with our bags. It felt like having a friend pick you up and drop you off at the airport. It was also great not having to take any connecting trains or buses from any of the other lots in the area...especially with lots of bags and kids. C&D is the place to leave your car when you fly off JFK. I left my car there for 12 days, based on the reviews. I'm happy to confirm all the good things that previous reviewers have said about Charles, his family, and this business. First I spoke with Charles over the phone, for a quote and instructions. Then I made a reservation via SMS. They respond to SMSs instantly. Marsha was waiting for me when I dropped the car and took me to JFK right away. Upon arrival, following an SMS from me, Charles came to pick me up very quickly, and very kindly helped with my luggage. My car was waiting and ready to go. They write down the car's mileage when you drop it, so that you can check when you return, and also write down your return flight and contact information in their appointment book. I sent them an SMS after leaving saying that I might have dropped a power adapter in the car. I had. And it was there when I returned. The stuff I had in the trunk was all there. They even opened a sliver of one window for the car not to overheat in these very hot days of September 2018. Everything perfect. We found this online, on the way to the airport, as we searched for a cheaper alternative for parking. I was a little dubious, as it involved coming to Charles' house, then being driven to the airport, and my car being taken somewhere I didn't know. But I thought, "well, I know where he lives - so it can't be a scam." I was right about that. I saw Charles' lovely house, and kids. He's a sweet guy, and it immediately felt like being driven to the airport by a friend or family member. The airport was only minutes away, and he knows the shortcuts, and all the lore and arcana he's accumulated over the years about where and when the lines are long, etc. And the return was just as good; he was right there when I got the baggage, and I was at my car in a few minutes. Definitely better than any parking lot shuttle. Charles started doing this when he lost his job (I think it was) five or six years ago, and didn't immediately find other work. My impression was that he originally intended this to be short-term, but it's worked out well for him. I am so happy for him that he figured this out, and I am very happy to bring him more business. I was a little apprehensive about booking parking with Charles service, especially because I was leaving for an international trip and was looking for something last minute (I mean like night before/day of). But with such amazing reviews on Yelp I figured Charles must be doing something right. He responded right away with a quote and I was able to reserve a spot the morning of my flight. But I think where his service really shined was how personable and gracious he was despite my arrival being delayed nearly 3 hours because of traffic through the city. I had only half an hour before boarding began and he was reassuring and had me to the terminal doors within in 5-10 minutes as soon as arrived at his driveway. On my return flight I was also delayed at customs and he called me to make sure I had arrived and was there to pick up me up within 5 minutes of his call. I have seen cheaper prices for parking with other companies that provide shuttle service, but the price paid for the service I got, this was a phenomenal find. Used this service for a 13 day trip to Italy from JFK, and was extremely happy with the service. A little disconcerting to drop you car off at someones house, but everything else was just as you'd expect. Charles inspected my car with me, noting scratches, etc, loading my bags from my car to his, locked the gates on his driveway securing my car, and drove us to our terminal in his car (about 10 minutes). Charles told us he had an off site lot where he would put my car, that would hold about 25 cars. On our return, I did as he said (called him when we landed, then again when we had our bags), and he met us outside the terminal, in the pick up area within 10 minutes with my car. Once he loaded our bags into my car, he had me drive to an intersection off the Belt Pkwy, got out assuring us he could walk from there, so that we just had to make one turn to get back onto the Belt to get back home. Charles offered super service, cheerful and courteous attitude, and was very dependable. His price was half what JFK wanted for the same 13 days. I read many reviews of many different companies and was struck by how many positive reviews this company received. My experience will add to the POSITIVE reviews because this company deserves to be touted. First of all, this company is responsive. If you email or call them, the company gets back to you ASAP. This is truly remarkable. Secondly, the company appears to consist of two people. Don't be surprised when you drive up to their address: It is a wrap around driveway that holds 8-9 cars with a sturdy locked gate to ensure safety. Thirdly, The three of us were driven to JFK airport in a very clean car. Our bags were handed to us with a warm, "Have a wonderful trip." The company is about 5-10 minutes away from JFK. Fourthly --- when we arrived back at JFK a week later, we made a telephone call to C & D Cheap JFK Long Term Parking and --- lo and behold! the twosome drove their car and my car to the airport so that I didn't have to drive back to their home. We recently needed to use long term parking for a 2 week trip we were taking to Colombia. After extensive searching, we discovered C&D. After speaking to a very polite and helpful young man ( Charles?), I had not yet decided to use their service. The skeptic in me required further research. I asked friends and colleagues if they had heard of C&D and several actually had and all had good experiences. So, we decided to use them. The cost for the 2 week term was slightly less than the cost of Uber or other transportation back and forth from upper Westchester, so a good choice. The car drop of was very easy. They did detailed inspection of car to document condition, then drove us over to our terminal, which was only about 5 minutes away. Upon return, the experience was just as positive. They arrived when they said, were extremely courteous and professional. Car was just as we left it - no extra miles and no damage. Would use their service again and highly recommend them. This outstanding business is ran by Charles who gives you a highly customized service for cheaper than anybody else. We decided to go with C&D when we found the great reviews online. We left for 3 weeks, we gave Charlie our keys and paid him full. Charlie keeps track of the miles on your car, gives you a receipt, takes care of your luggage in his own van and drives you to the airport (5min away). From the time you give your car keys to him, you don't have to worry about anything. He knowa where to drop you and that all it matters. When we came back alte from our international flight, before we call, he was already waiting for us at the arrivals! Whatever time you are traveling, Charlie will be here for you. He drove us back to our car that was ready to leave his parking lot. Our car had no dent (we were worried about this) and it is not always the case for the other companies around JFK. C & D was amazing. Took a huge load and hassle off of our travels. We feel so lucky we found Charles. He took great care of our vehicle over the 3 weeks we were away. He was very responsive to my initial inquiry and then remained in touch leading up to drop off, confirming the reservation and providing location and coordinating our expected arrival time. He is located 5 min. ride to airport- no waiting for shuttles etc. as soon as you arrive at car drop off location it takes only as long to unload your luggage into his vehicle and payment transaction to get going straight to your terminal drop-off. I knew from the minute we met him we were in good hands. Upon returning all we had to do was call once we had our luggage, we just told him which part of pick up sidewalk we were at (be sure to ask for his vehicle make and color so you can look out for him as well- we forgot after 3 wks!) Best part- the quote and final charge was about half the cost of long term airport parking. I highly recommend and we will definitely be using him again the next time we fly out of JFK. read more
