We quickly found a parking spot and decided to check it out. We ordered at the counter, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. He offered me a couple of tastings, which helped me find the perfect craft beer for the afternoon. With drinks in hand, we grabbed a table outside and spent some time soaking up the sunshine, listening to the music, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. Sometimes the best discoveries are the unplanned ones! I'm so glad we stumbled upon Pigeon Head Brewery. The welcoming staff, great beer, and fun vibe made for a wonderful experience. We got there a little early to pick our spot at the bar. We were greeted by Shannon the owner. She is a lovely lady and later met her husband Phil. They have owned Slieve's for about three years. They have a spacious building and super clean! The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is no food on the premises to purchase, but you can bring your own food or ordered inn. It was fun to sample Girl Scout cookies and taste beer. We started with 6 tastings but they threw in a couple extra. The event was well organized and the Girl Scouts were there to sell their cookies. I was a Girl Scout 50 years ago. I think a box of cookies was $1.00 - $1.25. I paid $7. Times have certainty changed. The customer service was adequate. No automatic gratuity was demanded for our attendance here. The bill matched their posted prices.
