When in the Reno/Sparks area, If you like a great IPA or Lager, Revision should be a stop. Love their beers, although I favor their selections of West Coast IPA's over the NE types and Lagers, all the beer they make ia pretty great. In house, they will allow a quick sample before purchasing any of their brews to go, or for consumption on site. Their is an area for larger or small parties to sit, enjoy the beer and socialize, although on this trip, I just grabbed some beer to go, to bring back home. read more

Time for an update and unfortunately, losing a star. My biggest reason for this is their social media/text campaign. I don't think a place of business should be sending out texts encouraging people to purchase a specific product that is not currently offered and that's exactly what Revision did. What a waste of peoples' time. Unsubscribed in disappointment and frustration. Social media director, take note! Another complaint is that they have now become "family friendly". I do not want to go to a brewery for adult beverages and end up having to listen to children screaming and running about. They are also no longer allowing outside food to be brought in because they have on site food, serving pizza and hot dogs. We tried a pizza on our last visit, $21 for a large 3 meat which is big enough for 2 adults. Pizza was meh, 3 stars, definitely could have used more toppings. We were thankful it did come out fresh. On a positive note, if you like what seems to be an abundance of IPA style beers they have you covered! They did have some enjoyable, yet expensive stouts on tap along with a couple other non IPA styles. read more

Stopped by for a drink with friends who came into town for the Superbowl. Fast service and an open concept for the outside where they have picnic tables old school arcade games and some pool tables. Definitely looks like it would be a great place to hang out for a nice afternoon. They do need some heaters outside as during the winter time it is chilly. read more

This place is pretty nishe and they have some exquisite brews. I'd love to try them all but I'm a lightweight. They are rich and flavorful and always ice cold against the tongue. Very satisfying and highly recommend. My only complaint is the decor. It's very warehouse like and I'd almost expect to be able to pick up my Amazon packages here. read more

Love this brewery! The atmosphere is fun with plenty of space, especially when the weather is nice and the doors in the back room are open, and the staff has always been friendly. Most of their beers are IPAs, which isn't always my jam, but even then I'm still able to find beers that I like. Their blonde is fantastic. My first visit to Revision was fantastic! What a cool space. Revision not only has tons of award winning beers on tap and loads of to-go options, but they offer a great place to spread out and hang with large groups while enjoying a beverage. No food here, but lots of beer, games like air hockey, pool, arcade, pinball, and cornhole. Getting to see the brewery floor and the active brewing process while enjoying the entertainment is also a plus! The bartender was quick and friendly and offered great recommendations. We had a blast playing cornhole and then an intense air hockey match. It's not often you find an air hockey table now a-days. Go have a blast at Revision! Enjoy! read more

Little chilly in the back area but nothing outrageous as it is a warehouse and production facility. Stand in line for service but it's fast. This is our very favorite local brewery, so I decided to hold a surprise party for my husband here. The venue is large, there is plenty of seating and there are video games, pinball machines, pool tables, corn hole and other fun games available. The staff is amazing! They are friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome. They are truly the best! I was a little bummed at not being able to reserve tables, because their threshold is 30 people and we were at 20+, but I got there early enough to reserve 2 tables and add more as people left. The music is always awesome, the atmosphere fun and it is very dog friendly! They have a great beer, cider and wine selection and their swag area has some great items. They also have a great selection of pretzels, if you need a snack with your drinks. I highly recommend Revision for any celebration! read more

I don't particularly drink beer, but the gals I attended said it was some of the best IPS's they've tried. The food was delicious!! Balinese & Indonesian cuisine from Ali Express. The saues were very spicy but in a good way - not toooo much. The service for both food and drinks were awesome. Everyone was extremely kind and took the time to explain different drinks. My wife & I love us some craft beer. We flew into Reno a day early and made some stops at a couple local brewery's to try the local craft. Being from California there is a very large market and I love trying what different states have to offer. Revision was recommended to me by a friend who has visited Reno multiple times. Pulling up to Revision I love the space they have and I can only imagine that it gets popping on the weekends. They have a large open warehouse where you can play pool, giant connect 4 as well as foosball. It is such a chill vibe sitting either inside or in the warehouse with all the brew tanks. The bartender was very nice and helpful with selections which was helpful as I was indecisive. The Beer was good but not my favorite. Here at Revision it looks like they have a very New England style approach to the flavors they offer. New England style IPA's are not what I would order so I was bummed about that. But I do highly recommend stopping by for a beer if you enjoy the New England style. read more

This place is fun! There are many beers on tap, they serve flights and pints and growlers and have 6-packs to go. There are pool tables and video games. The space is huge. The 2 stars are for the overpriced ($19) pizza bread that was made up of 4 pieces of bread of which contained 2 half slices of olive and one mushroom on each piece. This was the veggie delight. It did not delight us.....Apparently they were out of green pepper so it was missing the one little piece of that... or what they charge they could have a put a few more olives and mushrooms on the bread. If this was a large, I would hate to see what a small pizza bread looks like. You can do better Revision. read more

We love Revision....been going there for years. Our favorite beer is Reno as F**k . One of our favorite dates was to pick up food to go and head over there. We are disappointed that we can no longer bring in food as they are serving pizza and hot dogs and don't allow outside food. We tried their pizza and it's disappointing to put it mildly. Gotta say, there's a lot to like about Revision Brewing! Located across the street from one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, it was convenient for me to grab some takeout meals and walk over to enjoy some beer. We were traveling with our very chill husky. She loves being included in our food and drinks excursions. One (of many) reasons I like to bring food with me to visit new breweries is I get to bring her along. She, in turn, loves being included with her "pack". It's cooler weather outside now, and at Revision, you have lots of options for indoor seating, yet have good, spacious, and well ventilated areas to hang within, safe from any extremes of outside temperatures. The initial entry and taproom is cozy with couch and barrel table seating to chill out and listen to music with a mellower vibe. The staff is pretty helpful in giving you information about their beers and giving you a taste and generally helping you select something that you'll like. You can tell they enjoy what they do and love sharing their knowledge. The warehouse seating through the double glass doors is spacious and thoughtfully laid out: there's an auxiliary bar area with a flat screen tv, a games area with pool tables and arcade games. This is a great after-work hangout place to meet with friends! If you're curious to look past the seating area barriers to observe the brewing production areas, you can see all sorts of serious industrial brewing and bottling machinery. Quite appropriate high energy rock and punk music was playing loudly. Partly to mask the sound of heavy equipment, but also to mask out the exterior noise from this industrial neighborhood. The schwarzbier (a sort of extra-malty lager style) went exceptionally well with my delicious Mexican food. I wish I had more of a capacity than I did. Failing that, I'll have to make some excuses and visit Reno more often so I can come back here. read more

With over 10 beers to choose from in cans, and most of those on tap and more they've got a variety of IPA's that would make any beer drinker blush. My personal favorites are the Beer Train and Pandemic Brains. They've got fun games to play including golden Yee, NBA Jam and Area 51 where you can reminisce on days of old while having a beer. We had to spend a long time running around town to pass the time until they opened at 1pm. It's Been awhile since we been here but I noticed they have made the indoor (outside patio area) area smaller. I had the sampler...not a fan of the seltzers but the mango was slightly sweet. We tried the mango, raspberry and seltzers, infinite barrel aged imperial stout and right slice...Nicole was our beer tender. As Suggestions: 1. Open earlier at least 11am. 2. It was an okay experience our beers with Revision. We got a couple of IPA's from here and they were enjoyable... typically most beers are usually but in this case not all that memorable and that is what really has me coming back and use as a recommendation to others. The Glitter Moon was the one I liked best out of the two we had as I go back and recollect on this experience, Glitter Moon is a New England IPA and at the time I purchased this beer I was really into that style of IPA but alas I think the breweries on the East Coast does that style the best which makes sense. As I look around I see that there are other beer options besides IPA's so perhaps that is something worth exploring as I continue to seek out experimental and memorable craft beer. read more

Usually packed we found this place to still be busy but not as packed as other days and times. I really liked learning about the new hard seltzers that are relatively new to Revision. Clear in color but have excellent flavors. 5 to choose from today but that might change. Flights are easily acquired for $2.50 for 5oz draft. Flavors like pineapple, mango, guava, lemonade and raspberry. Created to welcome those that aren't into IPA (gasp) and what a great idea. A food truck was outside, lots of comfy places inside the bar where you order and pay for. I'm not a big IPA fan but I am happy that I stopped by to see why all the fabulous reviews.
