The beer is tasty. I got the Imbib not so secretary menu. This is true first time in here. Good line music. I think it's worth another shot.

The cold IPA and the NZ IPA are my top two favorites from this spot. For a place just getting started the beer is already excellent which doesn't always happen with new breweries. The staff is nice and the different seating options like the couch are a nice addition. Overall the ambience is friendly and nice. They have a wide selection of beer that should sate most people's style choices and tastes. Highly recommend grabbing a pint from this new gem.

Nice inviting spot with comfortable seating. Hang out with friends, feels a bit like hanging in your living room at home. Lots of variety of beer. The service is great, very friendly, and informative about the different beers, unique, funny, interesting beer names. Friendly dogs to hang out with too.

I'm a big fan of beer and it was a surprise to hear a new brewery took over this location. We're walking distance from Bristlecone so it's nice to see a new brewery has come to Reno! I ordered the "Gimmie! Gimmie!" IPA beer and it was very good! I'm looking forward to trying out their other beers and see what events they put together. The owner was very welcoming and was easy to talk too! He explained to us his new business and was thrilled people were loving his beers! There wasn't many people there but we did enjoy some live music from the guitar player that showed up and played! They only allow ESA but I hope they can allow well behaved pets in the future. Look forward to go back to try more beers. Also, Michael T from Yelp should drop in a check them out!

They were closing when we walked up at 8pm on a Friday because buisness was slow but allowed us in for some complimentary tastings and beer! Very cool staff and super clean and inviting ambiance! Will definitely come back for Noble tradition Fest Bier

Hadn't realized a new brewery had taken over so soon after Imbib closed, but was pleasantly surprised to check out a new spot! The decor is a bit more elevated casual, and I appreciate the live plants. The large, white walls could use some more pizazz. There happened to be a spontaneous live performer (singer/guitarist) and we were able to catch a few songs- would be nice if he returned! I got the west coast IPA and thought it was solid! They don't have food, but they offer a few bar snacks. Outside they removed the patio area in order to add some more parking spots, so sadly no outdoor seating. I definitely plan to revisit!

We were obviously very upset to hear of the closing of Imbib, but it seems that Bristlecone Brewing will soften that blow. My wife and I came in for an afternoon drink and really enjoyed it. I tried their Turn Table, this was a very good Table beer, and their Czech Pils, which was very crisp with a good hoppiness. My wife also enjoyed her beer and we stayed and relaxed while chatting with the new owners. Bristlecone is a very good addition to the Reno Beer scene.

Was very happy to see a new brewery opening up in the Reno are, especially after loosing one of the greats! Came in on a rather dreary Saturday afternoon but the warmth coming from the employees inside perked us right up! The comfortable and rustic new look adds to the vibes for sure. We tried a total of 4 beers and all of them were very good. My favorite being the Czech Pilsner! Bristlecone knows what they are doing and I am thrilled to have them in town!

This new brewery is in a great location, formally IMBĪB ... they are still serving some of their beers and also serving their own brews which are fantastic. The ambiance is great. The owners are very friendly and happy to talk beer!! my husband did a beer review for his Instagram. @beer_jimmy

It was our first time going to a drag show and it was a blast having a Mother's day reunion this way. The entertainers were fun (Maria you're the best) and the drink service could have been a little faster. There were many of us at our table that ordered bottomless mimosas. The rest of our mommy's had tequila and other hard liquors. The food options at the outdoor parking lot were delicious. It did take some time. This parking lot is horribe. I recommend ride share or getting dropped off here so you don't have to leave your car downtown on the streets. This part of 4th street isn't the best area. Shout out to the hubbs for shuttling me. We'll have to come back and have beer on the other side. I love their peanut butter stout and usually have a chilled pack in my fridge in the Summer. Thanks to the Lead Dog for hosting The Twampson's drag brunch for a fun and memorable Mother's day celebration.

Bottom line: We loved Lead Dog and will definitely go back again!

So bar food wise it was good, but not having their entrees like before would limit me from thinking of the Depot for dinner versus lunch or happy hour. They specialize in lagers, but over the years their menu has expanded to include all sorts of other styles. Suffice to say, you're going to find something you love here. Some of my perpetual favorites are their Pilsner, which is a very good easy-drinking beer. Add to that selections like their delicious Black Lager, their very outstanding Silver Sage Pale Ale, and their delicious Jalapeno/Habanero beer. And don't skip out on any of their seasonal brews, either, as the crew here are always cooking up something new and exciting to try. Plus, they have a fair portion of their menu available in cans to-go, and can do growlers and growlers to order. I also just love the vibe and energy at this place. It's very chill, cozy, and friendly in the extreme. Between the fantastic staff and the cadre of regulars, it has that real "local pub" sort of feel to it. You can hang out, play a few bar games, watch whatever sport is on the TV, or go sit outside in their wonderful beer garden if the weather is nice. All this ism plus they have events on a semi-regular basis like bar trivia, food-and-beer pairings, Grateful Dead night, or food truck pop-ups. So keep your eyes on their online calendars. Prices for everything are pretty much on par with other breweries and craft bars in town, starting around $8 per pint. There is no real food available here betond a selection of chips, nuts, and admittedly excellent beef jerky. But there are some food options fairly close by to either walk to or get delivered. Parking is usually pretty easy, too, either in their small lot or in street spaces. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Pigeon Head is my favorite brewery in our region. I've been a fan of them for years, and I hope more folks can discover them as well. In the last year or so, I really feel the energy of the Brewery District has shifted east to land along the Wells Ave corridor, with these guys being one of my favorite frequent haunts. Anyone looking for good beers and good vibes should come check them all out. Cheers, all!

Cut and pasted from their website: "Slieve means "A…read moreMountain" in Irish Gaelic, their family roots." Quality/Quantity - Been an extremely long stressful day! So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2022 with your nanobrewery; I wish you the best and am glad you own the building to help you weather some "storms."

It was fun to sample Girl Scout cookies and taste beer. We started with 6 tastings but they threw in a couple extra. The event was well organized and the Girl Scouts were there to sell their cookies. I was a Girl Scout 50 years ago. I think a box of cookies was $1.00 - $1.25. I paid $7. Times have certainty changed.
