Also turns out that when you have the Comcast contractor install your cable, they'll do it the cheapest, weakest way possible. Polos to the rescue. I've dealt with a shoddy cable install for years, having to reroute coax around my basement as I move my TV, and suffering from crappy wifi due to a poorly-placed router. And I never, even in my 10 years here, wanted to deal with the problem. A window remodel forced my hand. So I called in some experts and they were easily able to help out. Andy and his team rocked the problem from start to finish. Assessing the problem, surveying the terrain and challenges, and mapping out a solution that was least intrusive and caused the least amount of destruction along the way. The scope included re-running cable and satellite into the house from the exterior, hard wiring the satellite to my TV in the basement, hard-wiring the cable internet to my office, and running ethernet to a switch at my TV. Now my components are all plugged in straight to the router, my wifi is optimally placed (with some suggestions for how to expand the signal if needed), I have super fast wifi, and everything works like a charm. The crew was quick and clean, explained everything they did, and it was all golden. These buys are clutch for low-voltage wiring needs.
