A month or so ago, I had some damage around the rear wheel well of my brand new F150. I bought the…read moretruck in mid-December, and in late January someone scraped the paint while it was in a parking garage in Raleigh. There wasn't enough damage to report it to my insurance and cause my rates to increase, so in February I took it to Oak Grove Auto to get an estimate on fixing the problem. I expected to be without my vehicle for a couple of days and pay a lot of money for the repairs, but I wanted my new truck to still look brand new, and Oak Grove Auto came highly recommended. They not only gave me an estimate, they ordered a part without a down payment, then painted it with an exact match of Ford's Ruby Red paint (I understand there are 4 different numbers for that paint color, but they made sure they had the right one). When I was ready, I stopped by and they took off the piece that was damaged, so they could be sure they had an exact match, and they called me the next morning to come and have it put back on. In my opinion, they really provided white glove service for just a few hundred dollars. I'm sure if I had taken it to a Ford dealership to make sure I got a perfect color match, it would have cost at least $500 to $800. Oak Grove Auto only charged me $300.01. A quality job well done at an awesome price. Very recently, I got a flat tire on my new F150. The tires are huge and heavy, so after AAA came to change the tire, the next morning I took it directly to Oak Grove Auto to get it repaired or replaced. I had no appointment, but I also had several errands to run on my day off, so I fully expected to have to leave it and run my errands with no spare time (scary thought for me). Much to my relief, but NOT to my surprise, they not only said they could fix it for me, they said if I could wait about 5 minutes, they would check it to see if it needed to be repaired or replaced. When they told me they could fix it, they also told me that if i could wait just 15 minutes, they would fix it right away and put it back on the front wheel and stow my spare. I was ready to shell out about $50 for that, but it was only $10 or $20 (honestly, I think it was only $10 but I'm not definitely sure and I don't want anyone to go there and demand the same $10 price for the same service if I am not remembering correctly). Once again, I have to say these folks really ROCK! They are friendly, knowledgeable, customer oriented, and very particular about doing their work the right way. If you need car repairs or maintenance, THIS IS THE PLACE. I haven't bought a vehicle from them, but I'm also told their used vehicles are reasonably priced and in great condition also. What's not to love about Oak Grove Auto?

The straw that broke the camel's back was when we made repeated text messages with him indicating that he would indeed be here today at 10:00 to complete the repair . He indicated that indeed he would be here today. He was not. The issue is the owner of the vehicle has to take off work thus losing money to make these appointments . He did not show he did not reply to any emails or phone calls . As of this riding I'm still waiting to hear from him . I have contacted someone else to complete the repairs . As a business owner myself , I can't even imagine treating your customers this way . Do not use this person . I see the good reviews seem to be a year ago . Apparently, a lot can happen in the year .

Had to replace hood. They had my truck for a couple of weeks, as damage was extensive. I stopped by and asked about my truck as we were scheduled to go out of town for a few days. They indicated truck was done with exception of washing and inspection. They put the truck at the head of the line and within 20 minutes they were done. I watched them do their quality inspection, which was very thorough. I told them that I was very appreciative of their extra effort to get my truck out for my trip. I told them all I had to do is turn in my rental from Enterprise and I would be on my way. Customer Support person told me that they were an authorized representative of Enterprise and he would take care of my rental. Wow! These people are really awesome! I have used Rick's before. I will not use any other body repair shop! Job was perfect as far as I tell. I cannot find any flaw. Definitely getting monies worth here. All was good until alerts on the phone showed the car being accessed well after hours. Called the next day to find out what was going on and why it's been nearly a week and no work yet. I was told they do work in the evenings throughout the week, which I wasn't going to argue. And the folks at the garage didn't let us know they had filed for more funds with the insurance company. Went to the garage the next day and found about 40 miles was put on the car, a quarter tank of gas burned, and a radio station my family member doesn't typically listen to. Long story short, we pulled the car out and going elsewhere.
