Had a great time at Bauman's Harvest Festival! I was impressed how well the even was organized. The event was fun for both adults and children. The staff was all friendly and helpful. I especially loved the apple tasting, apple cider donuts and the corn maze. The pricing structure was a little confusing I payed the higher price for activities I could not participate in I.e kiddie rides. It would have been helpful when I paid that that would have been explained to me. All and all I enjoyed my visit and hope to go back next year. read more

They close at 5p... didn't know that. Bought tickets at 4:30p and didn't tell us they closed in 30 minutes. Everything closes right at 5p. No discounted tickets for coming close to closing time. Not able to get refunded tickets. Why sell tickets until 4:30p if you close at 5?!?!?! $30 per person. It's so busy and packed here you can't even do one thing in 30 minutes. As we were leaving we say One sign that says the hours on the side of one building. Crazy. They just want your money. read more

This place is the absolute best pumpkin patch/Halloween festival hands down... if you haven't made it down here on a weekend and gotten the $25 you have not experienced what it be in this area... Now this place has two dozen activities easily some of the coolest things that I have experienced at a festival the size is absolutely huge and I'll Tailored around family fun. The kids love the giant mazes Amazon porn some of them in the pitch black and absolutely kill all of the inflatable jump. Some of them must see if the yards long giant jumping pillows and other things like I've never seen before. We come here every year and had to miss a couple Dudikoff it and I will tell you he's like no other reason food read file so affordable worth the drive you'll never wanna go to any other pumpkin patch again. read more

We have been bringing our grandsons here since the 9 year old was a toddler and have made so many memories. They call it a pumpkin patch that is more than just a pumpkin patch and in September they start asking when we are taking them. I am happy they have senior prices, but wish they were less because all we do is take pictures of the kids. We do wish there had benches for adults to sit on while waiting for the kids to do some activities. We stayed until they closed at 5pm (we got there about 10am) and promised the boys next year we will come open to close. I do wish the band was not so loud, it made staying in that area hard. We did enjoy the scavenger hunt they had this year and learned some things. Even though for us it is an hour drive we plan to be back next year. read more

This place is huge! If you have little ones, they even have a baby area with rocking chairs, changing tables and bottle warmers. I wish I was able to find a map though as it was easy to get turned around. The corn maze is AWESOME! For the future though, I won't bring a baby, I do think this place is more suitable for older kids, teens, and adults. read more

There price for entry this year is insane at $30/person. Keep in mind you still have to purchase food, drink & pay for your pumpkins. Yes it does include the extra activities but still that is just still way to much when you consider the other pumpkin patches around the area. Especially if you consider that this price is for anyone above age 2. at least give a food voucher or a free pumpkin with the purchase of entry or offer a family discount. read more

It's a great 'pumpkin patch' / festival; probably the best around. It really is fun. This will probably be our last visit, though. At $30 per person, it's too much, especially for adults who don't generally use the kid-sized activities. We spend plenty on food while we're there anyway. If this year was Baumans way of testing the limits, they succeeded. We will tap out. read more

This place used to be great but now they are just a bunch of family-hating price gougers. You used to be able to pay for a cheaper ticket if you didn't want to jump on the jumping pillow or ride on the crappy toddler train but now they make everybody pay for the activities. Seriously, there are no activities for adults but they don't care. Do not eat there, do not buy anything from their store or nursery. I am never going back to this place. It isn't worth it. We have known about Bauman's for over 10 years...but could never muster the desire and finances to make this venture. I hate crowds and I like my money...so it was always easier to go to the free ones (the popular ones in September) and just go to a lot of different pumpkin patches over the course of September and October. We really appreciated all of the smaller, less popular ones in late October while avoiding the crowds at the big ones in September. So as time marches on and our kids are bigger and we've literally been to every freaking pumpkin patch within 2 hours of Portland, we decided that it was time to suck it up, drop some dough, and go to the one pumpkin patch that charges admission (well, besides the nickel and dime that occurs at others...ie...Roloff Farms was another nightmare) WHAT A BLAST! SO MUCH FUN! I imagine we could have made it a little more affordable and dodged the unlimited bracelets for the adults but honestly, that's what we as a family are about...experiencing life and all of its joys alongside our kids. I skipped the nuthouse and the bug train but several rounds of laser tag, and a couple of trips through what...4 or 5 different mazes? So much fun! The best part, we used our tried and true routine of going in September before most of the 'Portland crowd' realizes that Autumn is upon us and we avoided the crowds. We were there 15 minutes before they opened and didn't leave until after 4...we definitely got our money's worth! And where admission seems a bit bizarre, this isn't your run of the mill pumpkin patch...in fact, we almost forgot to go to the pumpkin patch! Where they also make up for the admission is with the bracelet, you quickly pay for that puppy with just a few activities. Furthermore, the food is not only good...but also cheapish. I mean, it's canned chili but hey, it's only $3.50 for a big bowl. They have roasted squash (pay attention other pumpkin patches...offer your homegrown product on the menu and not just warmed over bar food and sausages) At the same time, their corn wasn't great and the elotes was canned as well...but the fries were to die for. Tasty pretzels and chicken bites, Apple cider doughnuts and just apple cider...it was all super tasty and affordable...and the warm chocolate chip cookies in a bucket...whose idea was that? AMAZING! So we played and we ate and we zipped and we tazed and we had a grand old time. In the end, I don't recall how much money I spent at the Disneyland of Pumpkin Patches (just look at Pumpkin Hill...if that's not Disney, I don't know what is...complete with a banana tree :D ) but it doesn't matter because we just laid down a whole new set of memories and a new annual pumpkin patch to our list of seasonal activities! Go Have Fun...but GO EARLY! I would not want to be here within two or three weeks of Halloween! read more

There were 7 of us of very varying ages, and we all had such a good time! We had at first paid for the lower admission, but pretty quickly decided to upgrade the "bracelets" for the 5- and 6- year olds. There were many more activities, and we didn't have to worry about figuring out which ones were available for the lower fare. It was worth the extra $15 each ($30 total), and kept them occupied on numerous obstacle course, slides, and mazes. The lower admission would be fine for younger kids. The price of admission (including the upgraded tickets for the active kids), was well worth it and fairly priced when compared to any other all day family activity. We stayed from about 1:30pm until close on an early October Saturday, and the day flew by. Although there were many, many people, it was so spread out that it didn't seem crowded at all. The lines were short for every activity, as well as for the food. There was always a table available in the Food Court for our group, and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were nice, helpful, and plentiful to direct and assist kids. The friendly girl at the cashier booth said she'd been "doing this for years," and said she was a member of the family when I asked. I loved the idea of a family-run, local operation being such a huge success!! Great job offering this fun time to the community while supplementing farming income. Will be back next year! read more

Visited baumans pumpkin patch like we always do every year, and this year we went into the dark maze. While going through The dark maze I had my 11-year-old daughter behind me holding onto my shoulders. We came around the curve right as some boys had busted a bunch of pieces of the support beams. They had also bent one of the panels over. As they came around the curve they let it go and it swung back towards me hitting me in the arm. It hurt extremely bad and with it being dark inside I had no idea how bad my arm was actually hurt. I knew that if I let the panel go it would hurt someone else so I held onto it and told my daughter to go and get help. The 17 year old ISH boy that came to help said he had no idea how to get a hold of anybody and there was no emergency light system in the dark maze. Also the owner never shuts down attractions and says to keep it open at all times. I asked my oldest to go and ask the front lady to stop letting people in because it was dangerous. They didn't listen they kept letting people in. I eventually went to the front as the boy held onto the panel and got the lady to stop letting people in. Ran into the owner who said he had already fixed the panel and I told him there was no way because I was just there two minutes ago. I took him to the panel and he proceeded to put some screws in it. I asked the owner if there was an emergency light system in case something like this happened where people could see and not get hurt and he said yes. I told him that his employees did not know there was one and did not know how to use it and so maybe he needed to retrain his employees. He laughed at me. I told him that this is not funny and that had this hit my 11-year-old daughter we would be calling an ambulance right now because those panels are so heavy. Again he laughed at me. I told him that this is not funny and that there are babies that go in there which he replied did you not see my sign that says not suitable for small children. I said when I say babies I mean 18 and under. Again he laughs at me. He did not ask if I was OK he did not ask if I needed medical he did not seem concerned that many people could've got very hurt. I'm very disappointed in this owner named Rick. My arm was very hurt and swelled a lot the next day. read more

This is one of the biggest, fun-filled family fall outings we've seen in years... maybe ever. There are so so many things to do and see! If you can swing it, just purchase the unlimited access passes the night before online. That way you skip the entrance line and get access to all the things. Of course, this depends on your budget and needs. We have 3 school-age kids and for about $100 we spent 4 hours at Bauman's. The layout was well-planned and there's plenty to entertain the whole family. My only small complaint is that there is a lot of emphasis on play and less so on barn animals which i think is important. There's acres of parking and a separate exit/entrance to make your escape quick. read more

Woohoo! I've finally gone to a harvest festival! And I dare say I picked the right one. We showed up at 8am on a chilly, grey October morning to start the day with one of their pancake breakfasts for a mere $8/person. For this small fee, you get as many pancakes as you want, a huge link of sausage or ham, some eggs, unlimited cider doughnuts, and unlimited cider and coffee. It was just about the best deal on a meal I've ever gotten. The pancakes came with their homemade fruit topping, which was delicious. The next time they do this breakfast, I'll be back!! The space was fantastic. There's a huge pumpkin patch, chicken coop, playground...it really is fun for the whole family (and I'm not big on kids). The apple cider slushees are so good, and if I hadn't been so stuffed full of pancakes I would've gotten a corn dog. That cafeteria barn is enormous. Everything about this harvest festival is so instagrammable (seriously, check their Instagram). There's a lot of people but the place is so big it never felt like it. I have been going to Bauman's harvest since I was a kid and now have the joy of bringing my own daughter. There are so many activities and attractions for the whole family it's the perfect place to celebrate fall. You have to try their apple cider and apple tastings, we always end up with a bag to bring home. There is an apple cannon which is great for the thrill seekers in the family. No need to pack a lunch, the food area has a huge variety of options. You won't be disappointed with this fall destination. read more

Wasn't impressed this year. $5 for the corn maze that took less than 20 minutes to go through. The animal petting area was open too. Favorite attraction for my kid. I personally like the apple cider donuts. They did their best with what they could offer this year so I'll give them credit for that. I saw multiple families as well as staff not wearing masks. No one addressed the issues and didn't seem concerned about it even though signs was posted "masks required". If your coming for a visit at Bauman's make sure you distance yourself because no one cares about if others are wearing a mask or not. read more

One of the best run Harvest Festivals in the area. Family-run and family-friendly. Excellent food and great prices. Hard cider, Fresh Cider, Pastries, and vegetables. The gift shop is over the top and has so many wonderful things to see. Hats off to the Bauman family. read more
