The check engine light on my car had been on for a few months, so it was time for a smog test. The mechanic plugged in their gadget, and the result indicated that the catalytic converter was most likely the cause of the code. Two other shops that I took it to confirmed as much. A quotation of $1200 was given to me to replace my 2003 Toyota Camery. Then I took my car to my very reliable and professional mechanic shop, BAVARIA AUTO REPAIR. He told me that I didn't need to have it replaced and that I could pass the smog test for less than $100 and my car would run perfectly fine without a check engine by following a few instructions and using the right product. Now my car operating flawlessly. it passed the smog test and has no check engine lights on. Five stars is not enough for this shop. Highly recommended; even though they had the option to make a lot of money, they opted to be honest and helpful. read more

Great guy. I had a problem with my e30 where the drive shaft was rubbing on the gas tank. A major job to do is involving lowering the rear subframe, disconnecting brakes etc etc. he said it would take a few days. I was surprised when later that day he called to say he was half way done. I have been a customer here for over 4 years now. I went there to get some work done on my 1972 BMW 2002. The two brothers combined have over 50 years of experience working on BMW's. Vanik(the older brother) has been working on vintage BMW's for over 30 years and knows everything and i mean everything when it comes to 1600's and 2002's. Vic, on the other hand, loves working on e30's,e36's, e46's. I have a 2002 and a 1989 bmw 325is that have been serviced by these guys only. They work since they love their job as I understood today being in their shop for 3 hours. Very hard workers and serious about their job. My car had a problem that I went to few shops they couldn't find out (electrical), they wanted to change few parts and charge me for parts, But as soon as I went to Bavaria, Vic said what is wrong and he started to fix.
