Many mechanics we've come across don't work on Suzuki cars, so we first called to make sure that US Auto Clinic does, and we spoke with someone named Edgar who cleared us and said we could bring our car in the next day since it was later in the day and we still needed to get it towed. The next day we got our car towed to US Auto Clinic and were met with Kevin, who also introduced us to Alex. We were told some things about our car that Alex, upon inspecting our car, weren't actually correct. Alex gave us the run down with what was going on with our car, constantly kept us in-the-know, and made the process of fixing our car easy. Kevin and the team at US Auto Clinic took care of me and my BMW 530e. I hardly ever get in fender benders (especially with a curb lol) so I didn't know any auto shops where I could take my car after I clumsily hit a curb on my lunch break. Last year, I took my gf's Mercedes into US Auto Clinic for a brake pad change because they had great reviews. So I asked them for a quote on body work. The price was reasonable and they had good Yelp reviews on their body work so I brought in my BMW. I was very happy with the work that was performed. It ended up being more than the quote because a lot of parts were smashed behind the bumper, but that's to be expected. Especially because I knew I smacked it pretty hard. Anyways, the car was returned to me in immaculate condition and the quality of the body work was excellent. This is my second review for the guys over at US Auto Clinic. When you find a good mechanic, I think it's important to show love and give credit where credit is due. We brought in our Suzuki SX4 because it stopped blowing cold air and had a check engine light. Upon inspection, their mechanic Alex found a steering fluid leak that admittedly, my girl and I had been putting off fixing for a while. We had just been filling up the fluid periodically as a quick fix, but we had no idea how bad the leak was. Alex showed us that the power steering fluid was literally squirting out everytime we turn the wheel, and recommended we replace the power steering pressure hose. Just like our last visit, Alex efficiently diagnosed and fixed our issues we came in for as well as the issues we had knowingly been putting off and didn't even mention. All while being transparent and patiently explaining as best as he can to people who don't know much about cars. Again, big love to Kevin and Alex over at US Auto clinic. Hats off to the team at US Auto Clinic. I have three "thank yous" 1. My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 was hit in the rear quarter panel, bumper and muffler. The bed has a liner (line-x) and the team was able to repair, repaint and finish for under what the insurance was willing to pay out. And get it done immediately. Absolutely immaculate repair job. 2. My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 had a wheel bearing hub begin to fail. I had 5 quotes, 1 as much as $1,500 with a week waiting time. US Auto had me in the shop 5 minutes after I called, and installed an OEM part I brought in for just over 1/10th the high estimate. The job was done in 30 minutes, as promised by the chief mechanic. Absolutely stunning, and the team did another amazing job. The chief mechanic showed me the failed part and explained how he had done the repair. 3. My brother in law heard a whining sound in a newer Honda civic on a long road trip. The Honda dealership wanted to take the car for a day, minimum to diagnose. US Auto took the car for 45 minutes and confirmed that there was no mechanical issue, but likely that debris had been debris trapped in the wheel well, causing a sound. They saw my brother in law immediately, and offered no charge for the diagnostic. Completely amazing. It's rare to find a business with such an honest, professional, and quick service. Avoid this business. Overpriced services. Caused more damage to the car. I came with brake issues that takes a couple hours to fix. Car stayed there for four days because of broken ignition and battery problems that happened at the shop. I left with a blown fuse for the blinker that they refused to fix. This Auto Shop does not deserve a 5 star rating. They are a dishonest shop and I feel like they took advantage of me. First off I came here for a starter and brake replacement. They originally quoted me $200 (CASH they were very adamant about me paying cash) and I have the screenshots of my message to prove it. I provided the parts and after I dropped off the car, I received a phone call shortly after telling me that they misquoted me. They then baited me into saying that the labor was now going to cost $400. I was really irritated by this because as you can see in the screenshot. They clearly quoted me $200. They told me that they then had never seen a starter that was so hard to get to (mind you I drive a 2009 Honda Civic). They changed the price and said that my intake gasket had to be replaced and also my coolant. But mind you after my entire service was performed. They never gave me documentation or receipts at all even after I had asked them. I returned to the shop MULTIPLE times as I then started having a rattle around 3-3.5k RPM and they tried to blame it on a piece of plastic under the car. But it was clearly coming from the engine. Which I did not have before. I do look younger and I feel like they treated me as if I was stupid. They pulled the "I've been a mechanic for over 25 years card" and that I didn't know any better. They also tried to say "oh you know its an older car (2009) and it is nothing we did in the shop". I'm probably going to receive a message with a reply saying that I have no idea what I'm talking about. Or that I am trying to taint their business. But this was my experience and I hope that this does not happen to any of you.
