Cedars Inn a solid mid-range travelers hotel/motel priced as a budget hotel, making it a great bargain. Family-friendly AND pet-friendly, with clean, comfy beds, a decent continental breakfast, free cookies(!) every night (also hot chocolate, if you ask at the front desk) from 7pm-9pm, an on-site guest laundry room, and a 24-hour pool and hot tub are some of its most outstanding features. Seriously, why aren't all hotel pools & jacuzzis 24 hours? This needs to become the standard in the hospitality industry! The hotel is smoke-free, of course, but it didn't always used to be...or so it smells. There is a faint hint of it throughout the building, but not enough to be detrimental. Just noticeable, at times. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay, particularly when we had to send some friends to retrieve a couple items from the Lost and Found that we'd accidentally left behind. I really like this place, great location for me because I wanted a river and Mountain view and I really got that. The Old Wenatchee pedestrian bridge is across the street and it spans the Columbia river and connects East Wenatchee with Wenatchee. Very cool. Very nice stay at Cedars Inn. Both check in & out was easy; we had a nice room with a balcony and Mountain View; overall wasn't bad. Decent size, Our room was basic, clean and welcoming. I'd say the price range is $$-$$$. Relatively large hotel, seems older, and near town- there actually was a lot of food deliveries to tooms which is a plus. It was also the holidays so it was all decorated and lit up through the halls- very pretty. There is an indoor swimming pool and a little outdoor hot tub. We enjoyed the hot tub the evening we were there and it was really nice and relaxing with how cold it was (middle of December). It Also had changing lights so that was a nice touch, though the jets didn't seem to work. There was a complimentary breakfast, but didn't get down early enough to enjoy, and also cookies in the evening. Lots of parking, but it does fill up quick. There is a Coffee stand, 7/11, and a few bars nearby. I highly recommend a stay! read more

Fiirst, the room was okay and I slept well. AC/Heat worked great. The breakfast was okay. The room needed work on trim as did much of the hotel. The toilet was tiny. Right now the entire area around and in the hotel parking lot is torn up by the city to put in some bicycle lanes or something similar. Another example of council people spending massive amounts of your money instead of just doing enough to get it done. Concrete everywhere. Massive piles of dirt and construction tape everywhere. The motel is probably being compensated to some degree, but they will never recover from this. Right now the hotel is mostly being used by contractors and contractors are quiet, mostly. Stayed at this hotel for a conference, was not my choice, or my preference. Hotel appeared tidy, but not clean. Upon checking in (approx 4:30pm) I took the elevator to bring my belongings to my 3rd floor room. When the elevator door opened, I could immediately hear incessant dog barking down the hall. As I walked towards my room, I noticed that the barking was coming from the room directly next to mine. As I opened my door, the barking increased in intensity and aggression. While I deposited my belongings into the room, it continued. I quickly surmised that this situation would not improve, so I went back downstairs to the front desk and requested a room change. This was refused. (Too busy, fully booked) The front desk attendants promised me that the situation would be remedied. It was NEVER remedied. The dog continued to bark throughout the night and the next morning. My husband and I both notified the front desk multiple times in person and by phone, with no change or help. Upon checkout, we asked for some kind of compensation for our discomfort and lack of sleep. This was not offered. The room was also very noisy from traffic and returning party-goers from nearby bars and taverns. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. I notified the organization that suggested it, and they have removed the Cedars Inn from their list of accommodations. read more

*PLEASE READ* What a dope place to spend a weekend! Not only was every staff member willing and able to help with any questions or concerns, the experience itself was exceptional! Pam was just phenomenal in getting the wife and set up and set for our weekend getaway in Leavenworth! It was hard not to thank her over and over again. Rooms: 9/10 (walls are a tad thin but, thankfully it was a pretty quiet stay ) Service: 10/10 I shot the breeze with a guy at the front desk and he was about as personable as they come! The cleaning staff work around the clock and do an awesome job at it! Amenities: 9/10 The outdoor hot-tub is a pretty legit call, and the pool was heated too! They have a delicious breakfast in the a.m. and the fresh baked cookies and popcorn at different hours was a kush idea Overall for where it was located and how honey it was in between the trip out, it's more than worth a stay, same time next year! read more

I stayed here in August 2023 for a week. A few issues I'd like to mention are: 1. The breakfast, if it could be labelled as such, made me ill. The food sat for too long and was of mysterious and suspicious origins. Skip it, you'll thank me. 2. In the parking lot, a man offered me drugs. I declined. 3. I can only reasonably conclude someone was filming an X-rated film in the room adjacent to mine. The noises lasted all night for hours, preventing me from sleeping. The walls of Cedars Inn are thin. 4. There was no hot water in my room for two days. When I mentioned it while checking out, the receptionist stared blankly at me and kept stating, "You're all set. BED BUGS. Girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. Just before bed, we found a bug on her pillow. After taking the pillow to the table, we took pictures and found it to be a bed bug. We informed the front desk, but were met with nothing more than a halfhearted apology. They offered us more sheets but nothing else, not even someone to come up and change the sheets for us. We returned to our room and proceeded to check the nooks and crannies looking for more. We found markings that signified more than likely more bed bugs, and we also found another bed bug crawling around. Unimpressed with the quality of hotel and the service. We specifically booked this hotel for the pool and upon check in we were informed that is was closed. No one could tell us why it was closed. Our kids were totally bummed. The dryer ate my money in the laundry room and when I mentioned something I was told it was broken. No sign was on it and the front desk failed to tell me that when I asked to break a dollar for the dryer. One person even went upstairs with me because she said a spring was broken but it looked like it was fixed when she looked at it. Our room was average. The bed was comfortable. When I went to put my daughter's shoes on her socks were nearly BLACK and she had only had them on for about an hour. Disgusting! They need to shampoo the carpet in a bad way It was a normal hotel continental breakfast. It was fine. The cookies at night were a nice treat. Refused service to me and my 4 month old child after making online reservation because I'm 18 when the legal to book a room is 18. They also tried to make us pay $160 for canceling when they refused the service. The room was nice but upon checking out the staff was very rude. We had our dog with us and they assigned us to a room that dogs normally to do stay in. They made it sound like it was our fault but we did not pick the room they did. There was a sign that water had been leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom from the room above. Cedars Inn is a little gem not so hidden away in East Wenatchee. It gets 4 stars because it DOES look a little dingy on the outside and I definitely felt that the carpet in my room could have used a good shampooing, but seriously, other than that this place under promised and over delivered. I stayed here two nights for a work on snow demo at Mission Ridge. The night front desk gal was SO AWESOME! She was SO nice and recommended the equally dingy looking steakhouse across the way for food because they deliver to the rooms at the hotel and I didn't feel like driving anymore the first night I got in. Low and behold the food from the steakhouse was really good and I ordered from them again the next night. Breakfast in the mornings was really good as well, and the eggs were actually NOT gross looking or powdered eggs. They weren't dry either which was a surprise. The bed was comfy but the fridge in my room definitely froze all my beverages that I put in there, so that could be turned up a bit. I love that they allow dogs and that the rates are super cheap and it's a quick drive to Mission. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Wenatchee. read more

We stayed at Cedars Inn over the New Years weekend (Friday-Monday); we chose it because of the price ($86/night), and its relatively proximity to Mission Ridge. The hotel is in a fairly convenient area in East Wenatchee, not far from the bridge connecting to Wenatchee and access to the highway to Mission Ridge. When we checked in on that Friday night, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the front desk. He was very warm (in terms of his manner), made check in a breeze, and offered us fresh baked cookies. When I scoffed (jokingly) at only seeing oatmeal raisin cookies - which I detest - he said not to worry, he had chocolate chip ones coming out the oven shortly. SCORE! A small but memorable offering at this hotel. Our room was on the first floor, just down the hall from the front desk. It's not my preference to stay on the first floor of any hotel, namely because you don't know who is staying on the floor above of you. Unfortunately, our room was under a heavy walker, who seemed to do so namely at bedtime and even in the middle of the night. The bonus to the first floor, is that we had a securable sliding door with direct access to the parking lot; thus, when we checked into our room, we could load our room with our belongings from our car (parked outside our room), instead of schlepping it down the hall with a luggage rack. The hotel was a day or two away from going to completely smoke-free rooms, and it was evident that our designated smoke-free room had been smoking at some point. The room was heavily doused with some kind of scented spray; it was a little bit on the overwhelming side but we got used to it over our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept decently. The continental breakfast included in our stay was, in my opinion, above average. It consisted of real scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, bread products, fresh waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, and other typical breakfast beverages. It was hot, delicious, and very fresh. The experience for me was not as wonderful ! The one night stay was terrible . I was woken up to BEDBUGS AT 3:40am (5/17/18).. Room 237.. Although the front desk clerk was great with refunding me my money back and asking if there was anything else she could do! So I appreciate her & want to thank her... I will never go back there though!!!!I hope they close off the room and really take the time out to clean the room. Also when I first checked in and finally got settled into my room.. I had a friend come by so we could head to the smoke shop together... & immediately I got a call to my room from the desk saying that basically I couldn't have guest and that the hotel doesn't do traffic. I don't know if she thought I was a call girl or what! But I was very shocked and angry that she would get that idea, when I just checked in. I only had one guest come see me in the afternoon. The front desk staff was above and beyond friendly, great first impression. The hotel is a little on the tired side. The carpets are fading and the bed was pretty rough, the mattress was broken down and you kind of rolled to the middle no matter what. It didn't feel dirty at all, and the breakfast was great! Not high quality, but kept us full for the morning. The cookies in the lobby are a fun touch and the location is close to shopping & restaurants. (Delicious pupusaria about a 3 minute walk.) Buyer beware. This hotel is not what it is portrayed to be on the website. The rooms are not as nice in person as what the pictures look like, and even though they are non-smoking rooms, it smells like someone smoked in there. When we pulled up, it looked like a drug deal going down in the adjacent parking lot, and there was a homeless RV in the back of the lot. In the actual hotel parking lot, there were two people working on their cars, one had a compressor and extension cord running from their room. It was pretty clear these people were living in the hotel. We did not feel comfortable and packed back up to leave after being there five minutes. I conveyed my concerns to the woman at the front desk, who thankfully was very understanding and apologetic and refunded my money. She is the reason I'm not giving it one star. read more

Decided to stay in this place while visiting with a client in Quincy. I'd have to say this place has some potential but fell a bit short. This place is on the seedy side of Wenatchee, come to think of it, all sides of Wenatchee is a bit seedy. Hotel itself was reasonably clean, rooms were nice enough, clean and room and fitted with a fridge and microwave. Furniture smacks of cheap, cheap comforters, cheap pillows, cheap furniture, etc. They do have a small pool which is ok for a quick dip. They also offer a pretty decent free breakfast. Downside is that this hotel is located next to a highway so it can get a bit noisy. Also the air condition in my room would not work and the desk clerk gave me a bit of a hassle about changing rooms. 100 degrees out and she's giving me crap. They lost a star or two there. But for the buck (69 bucks a night), this place isn't bad. read more

Despite being quite a drive away, we decided to stay here for the weekend as opposed to staying in Leavenworth. The prices here were much more reasonable. Ended up being pleasantly surprised by the service there. The guy at the desk was super polite and friendly. We got there a bit early but our room was ready and he let us check in. They offered complementary breakfast and it included a good variety of food. Freshly cooked eggs, sausage, and sausage gravy, as well as the usual pastries, waffles, cereal and fruit. The room itself was pretty clean (as clean as hotels usually get). Maybe a little outdated, but that didn't bother me. The bed was comfy and the shower water was warm. That's what mattered most to me. I was able to sleep very nicely. There wasn't any annoying noises inside or outside. I just spent one night here while visiting in laws, king size bed and very big room, clean, quiet and nice size flat screen in the hotel room. The staff was extremely friendly and the indoor pool was awesome. They also had free breakfast and it was delicious. They also have fresh coffee all day long. Also cookies after I think 8pm. All the floors have vending machines and a 7- 11 is right across the street and you can order pizza from the local pizza place in town. I had a great experience, a lot of the reviews weren't great for this place but I thought for the money you spend on the room it was worth it. Also it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room looked exactly like it showed on the website and the staff was extremely friendly outside of reviews I read. I would recommend staying here and That it wasn't as awful as some of the reviews made it sound. read more

I'm going to do something I rarely do, and give this place 5 stars despite a few little grips (which I will explain later). I just feel the good REALLY outweighed the bad in this case. Let me start by saying, this was the one hotel I DID NOT want when I was browsing hotels. The outer appearance left much to be desired and the cheap looking Cedars Inn sign made me feel like this place is somewhere to stay away from. Looks can be deceiving though. I booked a "surprise" hotel on hotwire and ended up with this one. I was disappointed but figured what the hell. Now, normally, hotels are super picky when it comes to reservations with hotwire...it must be the original name, etc etc. Well, I realized my maiden name was still on my reservation and hotwire refused to change it. When I called them to explain this, they were more than accommodating and I was like perfect, no more worries! THEN I went and lost my ID in Leavenworth and called once again to see if my husband would be able to check in and they had no problem honoring that either. I have been to enough hotels and dealt with enough pains just in instances like those above that was a sign of relief and started thinking...okay maybe this hotel won't be so bad after all. When we arrived, the front clerk was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. They had fresh cookies at night and an amazing breakfast in the morning. I am used to most places serving cereal, breads and waffles but this was a nice change. They actually had sausages, eggs, biscuits and gravy (my personal fav), pancakes, waffles, plus the usual cereals and such. Check out was easy. Then as we went to leave, our car battery was dead, someone was nice enough to come out, help us jump it without seeming irritated or bothered by it. The pool and hot tub are 24 hours for adults. The customer service here is really as good as it gets in every instance. I couldn't hear our neighbors so the walls seemed to be okay (unless we had none). Now, the downfalls. There weren't many but the hot tub was out of order, apparently someone pushed the emergency off button and they had to wait for maintenance to fix it in the morning, which is of no fault to the hotels and actually was fine since it's outside and seemed pretty cold out there anyway. Just note, the pool is inside but if you want to spend time in the hot tub, it is outside so probably not great for cold weather. Also, their pool area could definitely use some cleaning and little repairs. The pool itself was pretty clean but there were some cracks around it and some pretty dirty areas that looked slightly rusty. Lastly, I have been to a lot of breakfasts in places and never quite seen a set up like theirs, instead of individual tables they had long tables that had to be shareable. It wasn't too bad since it wasn't too busy, but I could see that being annoying in an instance where it is really busy and you want a quiet breakfast with your spouse and instead are seated between a bunch of kids/families/strangers. We plan on making a trip back to Leavenworth next year and will definitely CHOOSE this one was our hotel. Don't let the outer appearance fool you, this place is great. read more

LOVE that the pool/hot tub is open 24 hrs for adults. The bed was great. The breakfast buffet had lots of good options as well. Words can't describe how amazing this hotel was! It seemed so exspensive when I first saw it months ago, but it lowered the prices lately. This place is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed it. And I've stayed in my fair share of hotels from traveling. The rooms were incredibly nice. I felt very spoiled. This was a gift from my fiancé to have us have a night away. And we went into the pool (rather cold but me and him love just to be young and stupid) and the hot tub was amazing! When we got out of the hot tub, warm smell of cookies, and we saw a tray of cookies free to take! We seemed shy but took 2 and went back to our room. Breakfast was served 4am! So early!, very friendly staff, breakfast options were too good to be true, me and my fiancé never seen a waffle machine make a waffle without pouring anything. It was cool!. Light up mirror In our room if we walked by to the bathroom. Large bed! Nice tv, and very clean and spacious rooms. This was too amazing. And I hope we can go back one day for a day away! The hotel appears to do everything possible to accommodate for Covid times. However the odor of cigar smoke in our first room and the pungent smell of marijuana on the third floor really put a damper on our stay. The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating and gave us another room but we couldn't escape the smell of cigar and marijuana completely.
