I've been going to the Baxter Cycle Open House events for a few years. I've always been very impressed with the friendly and personable staff there. I think they hire probably the best folks in the area. They routinely have events with demo rides, so you can try all sorts of bikes. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a bike listed on their used bike page and just had to go in to check it out in person and take a test ride. I loved the bike at first sight and quickly decided to trade in my 2017 Bonneville T120 for this wonderful 2013 Triumph Thunderbird ABS. Jeremy and Vincent were both so helpful and definitely went the extra mile to make sure the bike was 100% ready for the road and did everything to ensure I was thrilled with my new ride. These guys have earned a lifelong customer. I'll never go back to the big box store motorcycle dealers. It's a bit of a ride out to Marne, but well worth the effort. And soon, they'll have a shop in Omaha for Royal Enfield motorcycles and for bike service. Most excellent! Super friendly. Well stocked. Clean shop. Lots of amazing bikes (new, used and historic).

Awesome, awesome place. If you are a motorcyclist and haven't been here yet, just make plans to take a day and ride there. Go into the back room "Vintage Motorcycles" and take a cup to catch your drool. Yes, you can take home a 1957 Matchless or a 1974 Norton if you want; they're all 100% functional and for sale. Need parts for your vintage British bike? Baxter likely has them. They treat their customers right!

Lots of vintage bikes and tanks.

Great place. Great service. They fit me in for a tire emergency on a trip. I love that they sponsor the rally every year.

When they listed a bike for sale and I was interested in it, I drove up a few times from Council Bluffs to check it out and test ride it a few times as I couldn't make up my mind. They were so cool and nice with me wanting to test drive it more than once. I've gone to other places in the past where you can tell they are annoyed with that stuff. The salesmen and service department are all just super nice and accommodating. Later on, I drove the same bike up there to get some work done on it and their prices on the parts and labor were very reasonable. I really like this place and they will continue to be my go-to for work on my motorcycles.

Bought a bike from Cali through these guys using cycle trader during Covid times. Paper work was a breeze(Ca breeze not IA breeze) and got my title very fast. Bike took some time as the shipper was backed up due to short staff so Nishna helped me get the bike shipped through a different company. They are deserving of your business and I can not speak highly enough of these guys! They went well above the call of duty on this one which is Greatly Apreciated! Had the bike 6 months, lovin it but I've crashed two good ones so I need to remember my skill level, but I'm still out there riding every weekend!

They have factory parts, factory oil, and they are closer to me than any other Yamaha dealer around. The prices are typical dealer prices, which is fine. Finally the day comes for it to be picked up, and I wait for 2 hours after the scheduled time window, and then call. George says he forgot to tell me that the driver had to cancel. Again. Two weeks after my bike was finally received, and my estimate for a tune up was over $1,000. I asked about why I needed a chain cleaning, and George laughed and said the $49 charge was "because it needs it". He further spoke to me in a condescending manner. George said I must come in to pay for the work. While there, I told him that I was trying to support his local business, and I didn't appreciate being spoken to in a condescending manner. He then said he would no longer do the work on my bike. So, I am now out $80 for his "service" of picking up and dropping off my bike, for work he refuses to do because he can't handle a woman giving him some honest feedback about how he treats his customers. UNREAL. Maybe men get a fair shake from this guy, but I'm not sure women will. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Run, don't walk away from this castrated individual.

After spending over two hours working out a deal and getting cash together, I was informed by Glen, the finance manager, that there was a "mistake." My down payment was suddenly double what I had originally been quoted and what was on the signed sales agreement. He made one very short phone call, maybe three minutes, to try to resolve it, and that was the extent of the effort. When I calmly asked what could be done to fix the situation, he threw his hands up, said "here's my manager," and walked away like a child having a tantrum. No one stepped in to actually try to make things right. No solutions, no accountability -- just poor service across the board. I've never been treated this badly as a customer. Jimi, my salesperson, was the only bright spot -- I appreciate his effort and professionalism. SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
