Would be a great park if people picked up their dog's poop. It has gotten disgusting over the winter.

Nice little dog park with separate fenced area for small dogs. We were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty.

Perrine Coulee Falls is located right in the heart of town in Twin Falls, Idaho. One afternoon I was grabbing lunch at McDonalds, and next I was driving 1 mile away and witnessing this 200 foot waterfall plunge. It's that easy. There are about 6 - 7 spaces for cars to pull off Canyon Springs Road to park. If they are all filled up, you can drive lower down the road near Twin Falls Waterfront Park and leave your car there and then walk back up to the waterfall. Once here, there's a circular pathway going around and underneath the falls. So, you have multiple opportunities from different angles to admire the views no matter where you may be standing. Perrine Coulee Falls splashes down into a corner of the Snake River Canyon. It's this tucked away waterfall, but on display for everyone to see, and free of charge. Looking up at the waterfall, it's like an action packed adrenaline punch hitting you in the face. The free fall drop can be inspiring. Extra Notes... - The waterfall flows year round but is more forceful in spring and summer times with snow melting. - There's nowhere to swim. - The backdrop looking away from the waterfall is impressive. There's a beautiful golf course located right beside the falls. In fact, while you're teeing off at one of the holes, you can easily view Perrine Coulee Falls. - Down at the base of Canyon Springs Road is Twin Falls Waterfront Park where you can do rafting, kayaking or paddle boarding along the Snake River. Also, Perrine Memorial Bridge is nearby where brave souls base jump, free fall and parachute down from the top of the 486 foot bridge. It's an incredible setting for getting a firsthand glimpse into base jumping. - You only need 20 - 25 minutes here at Perrine Coulee Falls. It's such a pleasant and easy stop. - I came on by at the end of July around 3pm and there were just a few people here. It never got too busy at any single moment and there was enough spacing between myself and others to grab undisturbed pictures. But, don't quote me on when people decide to visit, lol. Overall, what else can I say? If you are a waterfall enthusiast, you will love checking out Perrine Coulee Falls. And not only that, it's the entire state of Idaho. Not many people I know of explore this under the radar state, but there are some mighty dramatic waterfalls located throughout and if you have the time, you'll appreciate what the "potato state" has to offer :)

The trails offer a stunning panorama that's nothing short of awe-inspiring. The Snake River Canyon, with its majestic cliffs and winding waters, provides a backdrop that's almost too beautiful to be true. It's like nature's own masterpiece, and the trails allow you to soak it all in at your own pace. What makes this place truly unique is its hidden gem status. It's almost like the canyon is hiding in plain sight, waiting for you to discover its magic. Once you do, you'll wonder how it remained under the radar for so long. Now, for the icing on the cake - the Evel Knievel jump site and statue. For those of us old enough to remember when Evil Knievel was the sport-rock star of the 70s, this spot is a pilgrimage. Standing by the statue, you can almost feel the adrenaline of those iconic jumps. It's a nostalgic trip that adds a whole new dimension to the hiking experience. The ramp site is now on private property so we couldn't get close but you can still see the mound jutting towards the canyon! So, lace up those walking shoes, embrace the breathtaking views, and take a stroll down memory lane.

His parachute prematurely deployed as the Skycycle left the launching rail but winds caused him to drift into the canyon. At the bottom, he landed near the water. If he landed in the water, he probably would have drowned, due to a jumpsuit/harness malfunction the kept him strapped in the vehicle. Surprisingly, he survived the jump with minor injuries. At the city's visitors center, Knievel's supporters erected a monument to their hero with a carved likeness of the rocket motorcycle. It's engraved, "Robert 'Evel' Knievel: Explorer, Motorcyclist, and Daredevil. Attempted a mile-long leap of the Snake River Canyon on September 8, 1974 employing a unique Skycycle. The large dirt ramp is visible appox. 2 miles east of this point on the south ridge of the canyon. Donated to the community by Sunset Memorial." The mound of his jump is from the marker.

Last month while traveling through Jerome, Idaho, we stopped in Twin falls to get a closer view of the beautiful Snake River and its surroundings. After parking in the Twin Falls visitor's center parking lot, I took some pics and videos. I managed to time things right and witnessed two daredevils base jump. (Building, antenna, span, earth.) Incredible! Apparently it is one of few places in the nation where it is legal to jump all year round. (Again, nope!) I'd love to return to explore the Shoshone Falls or Zip line at Centennial Waterfront Park but BASE jumping...........A HARD NOPE!
