This area is absolutely breathtaking. For $25 for two hours, you can rent a tandem and kayak through the water. You get to see beautiful tall rock boarders on each side. We saw some homes on a hill and water that was falling down into the water. We took the tandems passed the bridge and saw base jumpers on the bridge. We also went towards the rocks all the way down and it took us 45 minutes to get there. There we saw small pools of water. We also saw a mini waterfall. There were large rocks that we climbed to reach the pools of water. It was absolutely beautiful. After we were done kayaking, we were able to sit and eat at one of the many picnic benches on the park. They have trash cans nesr every table, and we saw some grills near the tables as well. They have restrooms available and water on the side of them. They also have a small play area for children. This park is beautiful and definitely worth visiting.

Centennial Waterfront Park is located on the north side of Twin Falls in the Snake River Canyon. We arrived here 10 minutes before sunset and weren't able to walk around for long. There were still remnants of snow from the other day when we got here so, not much water. This place is easy to find and a great place to take pictures. I wish our time wasn't cut short so that we would be able to explore more. I can imagine how nice it would be to visit here in spring or fall. Great sight to visit and I would recommend this place if you're planning to visit I

Very pretty. The area is clean and very peaceful. Bridge above is gorgeous! Is worth the drive.

Perrine Bridge, is the 8th tallest bridge in the country. People go base jumping off this bridge all year round

Centennial Waterfront Park is an amazing park that is the place to go kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, boating, etc. But be sure to purchase a permit (which I am passing along this information for those that are not from Idaho, like myself and was just visiting. Permits can be purchased online for only $5 for the day. If you end up getting pulled over by police... and yes they do in the water, the ticket without a permit will cost you $75). My husband, our little girl dog and I decided to stay in Twin Falls while we did our long road trip from Los Angeles, visiting national parks. Because we were hoping to possibly go kayaking somewhere along our trip, we brought our foldable kayaks with us. After looking up online, my husband had discovered that this park (amazing that it is free to visit and parking is also free) is the place to go for that. In addition to that, this park also features the beautiful Perrine Bridge, which is the 8th tallest bridge in the country. But most importantly, is very popular for people to come and do base jumping (which is similar to parachuting) from this bridge. Surprisingly Twin Falls is the place in the US to allow people to base jump all year round and without a permit needed. While kayaking in the Snake River, it is pretty cool to see people jumping off the bridge. There was one guy I saw that missed his landing and landed in the water, lol. If you do not have a kayak or didn't end up bringing one with you, you can always rent one here at the park. Same for canoes and stand up paddle boards too. If the water sports aren't your speed then you can also go hiking that comes nicely with a few scenic views. There is a playground here, barbeque stations and restrooms in case you prefer to just come to the park and just enjoy it for what it is and not participate in some of the other activities mentioned earlier. Overall, a pretty cool place worth visiting, especially if you would like to view crazy folks base jumping and take in the views of the Snake River and a few waterfalls.

This is a great park on the Snake River... so close to town, yet you really felt that you were away from it. Great kayak launch and other park facilities in the area. You get a great view of the Perrine Bridge and the Snake River Canyon, a lot of different facilities in the area.

This is the roadside fall as you are heading up the incline from the park back into the city limits.

If you're visiting the area of Twin Falls, Idaho get out and enjoy the sights, sounds and views of this beautiful and busy city. The road side fall is a nice picture shot! And don't forget to visit Shoshone Falls too!

Decent Little Crowded Park With A Nice Little Waterfall On The Way In This is a decent little park, pretty crowded and tough to park at though. The docks are pretty rough and missing boards. The docks also catch lots of much from the river and it just sits there. Someone should clean it out... Pee Eew! The coolest think is the little waterfall on the way down the road. It's a nice spot for a 2 minute hike to a reprieve from the summer sun and heat. This is a good spot to throw a kayak into the river and go paddle around.

This whole area is beautiful! We rented a tandem kayak from AWOL outdoors and went down the Snake river to some really pretty falls and watched a bunch of people base junk from the bridge. There is also an amazing waterfall there. Such a pretty place! Great find!

I'm from California, the Bay Area so I didn't feel the need to go hiking off the congested highways. When I moved to Utah, I promised myself that I would explore the beauty that surrounds us in Utah and neighboring states. My friend took me to Idaho to visit an amazing waterfall. It really was amazing. Parking is a little tough in the canyon area, so be ready to hike down and burn some calories going back up. You can get right under the waterfall so be ready to get wet from the moisture and droplets from the rocks. It's a must see when you're in Twin Falls.

    Shoshone Falls

Kayaks and other rentals available. Military discount available. Takes +/- six hours to kayak to Shoshone Falls and part of that you have to pickup/drag the kayak over land. Didn't have hand sanitizer for the stationary port-o-potties, and an area to change clothes would be nice. A good view of the bridge/river from the overlook. A lot of teens working what I assume is their summer job - they were polite and hard-working.

Plenty of active things to do! Nice view and picnic areas. Lots of hiking trails. Did two myself, really enjoyed the exercise and time with nature.

    Getting ready to zip line.

Wow, easy beautiful hike…read more A great friend moved to Twin Falls recently and I had to visit. On a Friday afternoon she recommended this fantastic hike. We parked at a paved small lot off Pole Line and Eastland Drive N. The trail head is well marked. The approximately 3 mile path from here to the Shoshone Falls Park is 12 feet wide and paved. Hikers, joggers, bicyclists and dogs on leash are all welcomed. From the parking lot the elevation doesn't change much for the first 2 miles. The last mile declines into the Shoshone Falls Park. So remember you'll have to hike uphill a while to return to your car. The trail winds through a housing development and a few pastures. Edging the south rim of the Snake River about 500 feet down. Step off the trail and enjoy the occasional bench to take in the magnificent rock colors and formations. Slowly the falls will start to appear and you'll hear the low rumble of the water crashing to the pool below. There a couple of observation platforms just off trail. They are easy to find and get to. At the end of the trail we descended into the park. Here we spent time reading the history kiosks and getting close up shots of the falls. We took our time and savored all the sites for almost three hours. Also along the trail we walked past the Evel Kinevel launch site from 1974. That brought back memories. The views will vary on the time of year and the water flow. We enjoyed a partly cloudy day with some gusty winds. It was still fabulous. I will do this trail every time I visit. No restrooms along the trail. There are some at the falls in the park, along with a small refreshment stand.

Not for me. But could be a great place for those that like walking, hiking, biking, ETCread more

His parachute prematurely deployed as the Skycycle left the launching rail but winds caused him to drift into the canyon. At the bottom, he landed near the water. If he landed in the water, he probably would have drowned, due to a jumpsuit/harness malfunction the kept him strapped in the vehicle. Surprisingly, he survived the jump with minor injuries. At the city's visitors center, Knievel's supporters erected a monument to their hero with a carved likeness of the rocket motorcycle. It's engraved, "Robert 'Evel' Knievel: Explorer, Motorcyclist, and Daredevil. Attempted a mile-long leap of the Snake River Canyon on September 8, 1974 employing a unique Skycycle. The large dirt ramp is visible appox. 2 miles east of this point on the south ridge of the canyon. Donated to the community by Sunset Memorial." The mound of his jump is from the marker.
