BIG TIME!!…read more Back in December, a young stray cat we'd been caring for got attacked and needed immediate wound care and possible neutering at the same time. We were quoted thousands at an emergency vet and felt completely overwhelmed. Thankfully, an employee there suggested we contact Adam's (where we had been before for another pet's vaccinations). We waited until morning and took him in and wow! The care was excellent, and the cost was a fraction of what we were expecting and saved us thousands!! I said THOUSANDS!!! Then recently our dog had an anal gland abscess and it was the same story elsewhere, huge estimate with lots of add ons. We went straight back to Adams and we were able to be seen as a walk-in. They treated him quickly, didn't push a bunch of extras, and again saved us THOUSANDS!!!! The clinic is super busy, and the girls at the front desk are doing a million things at once, but they're so nice and accommodating. You can tell they truly care about making sure your pet is seen and taken care of. We're really thankful for Adam's Pet Hospital and we will not be going anywhere else from now on.

I have been coming here almost every week for ~2 months for my cat. Unfortunately, she had to be…read moreput to sleep last week because of her unsaveable medical issues. It was devastating for me as a first time owner. Dr. Singh and his staff showed deep compassion for me and my fur baby. I told one of the staff that even though I know it's time to free my cat from pain and suffering, I wanted a confirmation from the vet so I can sleep at night as I was feeling extremely sad and guilty. Dr. Singh confirmed the situation, the highly possible cause of the cat's condition (neurological), and he's very honest that it was untreatable. I signed the goodbye paperwork and he immediately administered the sedation injection. My cat reacted, turned around to look at the injection site, and made a small noise. It was good to hear her voice and see a reaction from my cat but it also made me sad quickly, as that was the last reaction she had as she slowly relaxes and her body just went limp. It was very quick. I decided not to stay for the euthanasia to avoid any more trauma as I tend to get anxious and depressed. I paid at the counter and then asked to wash my hands inside the restroom. As I walked back, I passed by the area where my cat was being worked on by the vet and a staff. I didn't really want to see it but in a quick glimpse, I saw how they were laser focused at what they were doing. Happy to say that I saw how they treated my beloved cat with gentleness and respect in the last few minutes of her life. The whole appointment took 2 hours, again, last minute, for labs, shots, a physical exam and paperwork, as well as the appointments already set up before us. This is a great place to bring your pets and I look forward to coming back for regular check ups for my dog. Update: I also wanted to add that it was a quick process getting my dog signed up as a new patient. All I needed were basic details. The cost was also on the affordable side. His physical exam came out to $55 and his bloodwork that checks for multiple illnesses, called "Total Health Plus Profile" was a bit pricey, $163, but it was worth the price when figuring out what was wrong with our pup. We had specific shots and medicine prescribed to him as well which I believe can add up, but nothing was pushed on us, we were given options for things like specialized topical cream or shampoo, even the bloodwork was optional. We decided to add on all the extra items to give us peace of mind. So if you're looking for a warm and welcoming staff that looks out for you and your pets, Tender Loving Care is where it's at. :) (I need to add- I love that all the staff were women. I'm not sure if it's always like that but it made me happy to see, especially because my pup is weary of men.)

I was charged over $513 for flea and ear treatment--no surgery, no major exams, no X-rays. Essentially, I paid that much to be told my dog had fleas and needed his ears cleaned. Around noon, I asked the receptionist if I could step out while they finished the cleaning. She was on the phone and waved that it was okay. Five minutes later, I got a call saying they were closing for lunch and would charge a $30 "shelter fee" because I wasn't there. I explained I was only three minutes away--I had just run home to let out my other two dogs--but they still wouldn't waive it. After paying over $500, the extra $30 felt petty and unnecessary. I had already told them I planned to come back for two more procedures for this dog, and I have two other dogs who would need care. That kind of service lost them a lot more than $30. On top of that, I was told I couldn't find the flea meds cheaper elsewhere, but I looked them up while waiting and found them $10-$15 less online. Between the high bill, the surprise fee, and the misinformation, the whole experience felt very money-driven. I wanted TLC to mean Tender Loving Care, but after this visit it felt more like "Total Loss of Confidence." Would not return.
