This was an unusual situation and most clinics would not have been willing to accept a prescription from an out of town veterinarian. They gave my kitten an bad infection!!!…read moreWhen I initially took my kitty in for pre spay shots, my kitty was extremely calm sitting on the table as they overlooked her and handled her. They even mentioned how well mannered she was. They took her in the back for shots and came out and said my kitty bit a vet tech and they were going to have to report us to the health department. Mind you my kitty has never shown aggression before. They also mentioned they had an hard time giving her the shot (finding the vein!) She had a bandage on her arm and when I took it off she was bruised and a nice amount of blood on the bandage. That's alot of blood for a little kitty arm! Of course a cat will bite when you mishandle them like that!!! Not only do they charge an astronomical amount for the spay ($1000+) but they also gave my kitty an infection in the process (caused by them!) and had me pay for it! My poor kitty was extremely lethargic and sickly for over 2 weeks, we were so scared she wasn't going to make it!! They acted like I was the problem, again. I have to pay for their mistakes and they almost killed my kitty. This was nothing but a nightmare and now I tell everyone...stay far away from here!!!

Our Kolby passed on 12/22/25 with undiagnosed (by NLVC) kidney cancer, he was 11 years old and very active in July. On August 5, 2025, we took Kolby to NLVC and saw a "new to us" doctor, Dr. Callan, because he had a seizure/passed out over the weekend, not eating well, vomiting and peeing in the house. Dr Callan did a urinalysis and Sr. Wellness Panel. Kolby was put on Proin for peeing in the house. (One month prior to the seizure, Kolby had a wellness visit on July 10th with a "new to us" doctor, Dr Paul, and everything was ok). After the seizure he acted like he felt fine but we obviously wanted him to be checked out. Dr. Callan did the bloodwork and said for us to just watch Kolby and video him if he has another seizure. The bloodwork showed everything as pretty much normal and the Proin seemed to help with the uncontrolled peeing. On September 2, we had Kolby's meds refilled (Proin and something for nausea). On November 18, 2025, we took Kolby back to NLVC and saw another "new to us" doctor, Dr. Omlor. We took Kolby because he was losing weight due to his decline in appetite, vomiting and chewing his hair off. Dr. Omlor gave Kolby IV fluids and an injection for nausea. Keep in mind, my husband and I trusted this veterinary clinic and thought we were doing the best for our Kolby. On December 9, 2025, due to Kolby's decline in appetite, weight loss and hair loss, we took him back to NLVC. Again, he saw Dr. Omlor for a recheck. Kolby had a significant behavior change in the past week. He was barking at nothing, staring into corners and peeing in the house again. Dr. Omlor said that "The behavioral changes you're seeing could be related to something called cognitive dysfunction syndrome, which is similar to dementia in people." At this point we should have asked them for x-rays, but we aren't doctors. By Saturday, December 13th we headed to Urgent Care in Newark. They immediately performed x-rays and found a mass in one of his kidneys. They made us an appointment for Monday morning at Pinnacle Veterinary Specialist in Glen Mills, PA. They performed an ultrasound and found that the kidney mass was cancerous and had now spread to the other kidney. He also had a blood clot that could move at any time. They suggested that it would be compassionate to go ahead and euthanize him. We couldn't leave him there. We opted to bring him back home and make him as comfortable as possible. We did and one week later we had to let him go. There are no words to say how much that little Prince was loved and horrible to think how much he suffered from August to December. We truly believe if we had a regular vet who was the only one he was seeing, they would have suggested other measures to diagnose him. NLVC failed us. We called today to get Jasper's records and I let them know about Kolby. The girl who answered the phone didn't identify herself and when I said something about the vet revolving door, she said that they "have a lot of veterinarians". We needed consistency and someone who would love our dogs. There have been several staff members there who were wonderful and we also love Dr. Meredith and loved Dr. Gruber. Unfortunately, Dr. Gruber left long ago and we never see Dr. Meredith anymore. It also appears that many of the staff members that we loved so much have also left the practice. The young lady who answered the phone today was just doing a job. No heartfelt compassion - all that I got was a "sorry for your loss". Yes, and we are sorry that we have to leave and cannot recommend your services. RIP our sweet Kolby - aka Little Prince...

Took my new kitten because he had extremely dirty ears. Vet doused ears with cleaner and used big…read moreqtips and took 15 minutes to clean them. One week later his ears were filthy again. Took him to VCA people's plaza and vet said it was an ear infection and put my cat on medication ear drops. Vet said his ears should not have been cleaned. Ten days on ear drops, and infection is gone. Looking at reviews on yelp, and my own experience, I'm wondering if the "vets" at New London are really vets? Is there any kind of agency that checks on this kind of stuff? Anyway, don't take your animal there if you care for their wellbeing.

I called and made a wellness appointment for my new puppy, scheduled at 11:30 am. I was given the choices of 0900 or 1130. I wrote 1130 down at my desk and texted this time to my husband. I repeated the time scheduled back to the receptionist. I was told that I would need to put down a $79.00 deposit in case of a "no show" fee. The day of the appointment, I received a call from the front desk staff at 11:29 (I have a screenshot picture of the time she called) who immediately told me I was late for the appointment and my dog would not be seen. I explained that the appointment was scheduled for 11:30. She said "no, it was at 11:20." I looked at my records and saw that I had written down 11:30. While she was being argumentative with me, my husband walked in your door with our puppy. He was shocked at the combative tone he encountered from the front desk staff. He asked to be refunded the $79.00 deposit. He was told they would ask, but the money would be applied to the next appointment. The staff member's tone of voice was dismissive, rude, accusatory and completely unprofessional. I have read many Google reviews regarding Circle Vet. Unfortunately, I see a clear pattern of unprofessional behavior by their front desk staff. I also see responses which offer poor excuses for their behavior. Through an email, I asked that Circle Vet refund the "deposit", as no services were rendered due to their scheduling mistake, as my husband walked in before the appointed time. They did not return my calls as requested. Instead, the "Hospital Manager" sent a letter (clearly backdated) accusing us of yelling, threatening, being entitled, harassing and using harsh language. All of which were NOT true. Yes, we were rightly upset - for good reason. They took my money and ran with it. Fortunately, my credit card company sided with me and eventually my money was returned. She was a little touch and go for a few minutes but after he treated her, she began to recover quickly and within 24 hours she was back to her old (bad) self. If it were not for the quick actions and caring heart of Dr. Muse, I don't think Ruby would have made it. For his trouble, he got a handful of ferret diarrhea. This vet office is pretty pricey, I will admit, but their service and heart is worth the price when you're taking care of your family. Thank you, Dr. Muse. Ruby thanks you as well. She feels bad about pooping on you but is grateful you helped her feel better. She wanted me to relay that next time, she won't be as hard on you!

After being dropped off at Square Dog Ranch a couple hours later Cathy said dog has a high fever. I had no idea. she contacted me and went to emergency vet. Clyde has a serious ear infection and the vets put a drain in his ear and Cathy would look after it. She also had him recheck before we got home. Week later we take him for his last recheck and he is doing wonderful. I will forward be grateful for the love and care Cathy and her crew gave my dog.
