My teeth were cleaned and lots of tartar was left on the back of my bottom teeth. Following I had a crown replaced as the old one cracked and fell off. Following completion of the crown I went to another Dental Business as the crown was not feeling right. The new dentist took X-rays and scans and showed me how the crown was not sealed properly. This resulted in a new crown being placed and of course the situation cost me double the money. read more

Even though they have changed hands/dentists a few times, each of the dentists has turned out to have a great bedside manner and provide quality dental care, so I keep coming back and recommending Bay Arbor Dental Care to my friends. As someone who unfortunately has more dental issues than I care to mention (and therefore frequent visits to the dentist), finding a skilled dentist who is someone I can talk to about dental issues and who will give me advice that I trust is very important to me. My sister went to them complaining about A tooth.the x rays they took were insufficient They said the tooth was fine. It was not. She had a failed root canal. The root canal was Not done by them. My complaint is they do not Know how to diagnosis what is wrong. You go home thinking everything is fine and it is not So now she has to have an implant. When you take x-rays you take the root too. Had my first visit today. It was THE BEST visit I have ever had to a Dentist. Everyone there, from Allison and Dee at the front, and Kendra the (Super) Hygienist, and Dr. Jones herself were so kind and pleasant. The office is spotless and modern. It is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. I did not feel rushed a bit, and all my questions were answered. Spent the most time with Kendra the Hygienist. She was so patient and professional and explained everything as she went along. Dr. Jones examined my teeth and clearly described my condition. I couldn't be happier. I was in the emergency room the day before with a tooth issue. I called several place and only Bay Arbor called me back and only 10 minutes after I left a voicemail. I got right in and they were able to take care of my emergency needs on the first visit. I have had more bad experiences than good when it comes to dentists so I'm always cautious about seeing a dentist. I have a very dense jaw bone from breaking it as a kid so this has lead to some disasters in the past. These guys actually listened and heeded my warnings. It literally took them an hour plus to extricate the roots but he never gave up since he know I was out of time from work. They made me feel very comfortable during the entire process and they even let me tell them when to stop or carry on. I'm so glad I went here and I'm actually looking forward to going back and getting other work done. read more

Here's an honest review from a recovering dentophobic! I avoided the dentist for 12 years due to past traumatic dental experiences and my overactive gag reflex. My new patient appointment today was awesome and nowhere near as scary as I expected! The hygienist Kendra explained each procedure in detail before she started and kept me at ease with her patience and friendly personality. Even the dreaded x-rays were not bad at all-- way easier than I remember as a child. Kendra used different strategies to help prevent my gagging. The exam with Dr. Jones was easy and she is so kind and understanding. Dr. Jones and Kendra developed a plan for me moving forward. Even knowing I have cavities that need to be filled, I know it'll be nothing to worry about with Dr. Jones and Kendra. They are angels! This has to be the best dentist, team and facility I have ever been to! My son was in today and Dr Molinari took out two impacted wisdom teeth, completed a root canal on a tooth that had trauma in the past and re bonded his retainer in less than two hours. He has had no discomfort at all. The doctor and her hygienist spoke with him about his future and encouraged him to look into the dental field, he is entering his senior year. Let's face it, no one loves getting dental work done, however, Dr Molinari & her staff made it easy & almost painless. (I had a crown & 2 fillings on my visit). My dental coverage ended, so I decided if I'm paying out of pocket, I want to find a really nice place to go.The HMO office I'd been using for years was ok, but far from impressive on all accounts. I received a beautiful mailer with an offer to get acquainted, and so did a drive by.It looked nice so I made my first appointment, boy am I glad I did. BEWARE I had a nightmare of an experience at Bay Arbor Dental. Went in for a new patient appointment with cleaning. They informed me I had cavities in all 4 Quadrants and gave me a plan suggesting I Take care of one set at that appointment which I consented to. After two hours of painful fillings in teeth I never had pain in before I left with 1k less in my account. That day I was alarmed with the amount of new pain I had and called to report this, they said it was normal to give it a couple weeks. Well over the next two weeks I had to medicate with Tylenol regularly, couldn't eat in the affected side and could no longer tolerate cold air or liquid in my mouth. I returned two weeks later to be evaluated and the is when they informed me I would now need three root canals (in those teeth that were treated for minor carries) and crowns which would run me about 8000.00 I was APPALLED I sought care and other opinions where I was told the cavities were never enough to need fillings or at the most critical level not need the deep fillings the dentist did. The roots and nerves were now compromised and would need extensive dental work to fix and the teeth would eventually need to be pulled (but don't worry! They can last 5-20 years :-) ) and would then need implants and grafts thereafter. My husband informed we would be disputing the charges. On top of all of this each tooth took two dentists each and several appointments with each tooth and both dentists (one did the root canals and other did the crowns). Prior to seeing this dentist I had NO dental issues except 3 previous cavities filled a few years prior. Now I come to find out two years later after this incident the crowned teeth will need to be pulled and will need implants relatively soon(and grafts! Fun!!). Also I am a healthy 34 year old with good brushing habits and non processed diet! This experience was nothing short of traumatizing and am still dealing with her mistakes two years later! I read a couple poor reviews ab bay arbors staff & a complaint about Erica. I've been to this place quite a few times & made it my permanent dentist office. I have to say I've been to MANY dentists but will NEVER go anywhere else!! I've rescheduled last min & missed apts w/o calling in bc I was too sick to get out of bed. No one scolds or treats you like your wasting their time bc u call in last min or miss an apt. I've done both, more times than I'd like to admit. Im not trying to knock anyone's reviews but it blew my mind bc Erica's one of my favorite staff members !! She's as sweet & kind as can be! She has a great personality & makes me laugh every time I see her. All of bay arbors staff have great personalities, are fun to be around & just as sweet as can be. I'm surprised there's any negative reviews ab this place @ all & Especially ab Erica. Just remember when reading reviews, there's always those few who are never happy & always point out the negative & complain no matter what. All the staff & dentists @ Bay Arbor Dental are *A M A Z I N G* !! I wont recommend or go anywhere else but Bay Arbor !! Dr. Kase is incredible & has a great eye. He did excellent work on my front teeth. They look better now than ever. It always seems like you usually love the dentist or just the hygienist...but never both! Ah-ha until I went to Dr. Molinari's office. Kendra, who was my hygienist is absolutely hands down the best hygienist I have ever had to clean my teeth. It has already been 4 days since my cleaning and my teeth still feel clean and look beautiful. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and upbeat. Dr. Molinari is also wonderful! She really took her time to go over everything with me and she is very fare as far pricing goes! I felt very confident with the treatment that she suggested that I have done on my teeth. I was also surprised at how reasonable my visit was, especially after I had walked into the office. But my experience with Bay Dental has changed my feelings entirety! I had two crowns worked on, one replacement and one new! Jessica said I would be sore! Loved this practice in 2016. Dr. Molinari was my dentist, and she was concise, respectful and kind hearted. However I am deeply humiliated by my recent experience. I recently stopped in to discuss a crown for my tooth and booked an appointment. As I am an RN working a hectic covid assignment, I had to reschedule due to one of my nurses falling ill. I called at 9:50am to reschedule (it was scheduled for 4pm) and an Erica took the phone from the young lady I was speaking to and began scolding me with, "well what happened? Because we blocked off two hours of the doctor's time." I fully understand the value of someone's time. Unfortunately with what I do, these issues arise unexpectedly and I can't keep commitments, including regarding my own teeth. She continued to instigate and demean me by calling me back to leave a voicemail on my phone when I requested to speak to someone else! I've never dealt with such cruelty from a dental office. It was a little shocking and disarming. These attitudes negatively affect otherwise thriving practices. read more

I think this is the first dental experience that I haven't left feeling bad about myself & my teeth. I have now been seen twice and both times have been a great experience. Kendra has been my hygienist. She explained every detail of the visit, and I learned a lot about my teeth! The dentist was also friendly and helpful.
