After her review I was told I had cavities that needed to be filled and I was in need of a deep cleaning which they would have to schedule in the future. I was not surprised by either, as I had not had a cleaning in probably 3 years, which is my fault! However, I did go in with the impression I would have a cleaning that day, and was disappointed I was there almost 2 hours for pretty much nothing. I returned a few weeks later and had my deep cleaning done with Christina, the hygienist. She took me back right away and started the cleaning...no waiting around this time. She was friendly and did a fabulous job. My teeth and gums felt great after that! A few weeks later I returned and had my cavities filled. Again I was taken right back, numbed and the procedure started probably 15 minutes later. This process went smoothly as well and I have no complaints, I can't remember the dentists name but she was very friendly. I've been back one more time since for a regular cleaning with Christina and again, great experience! SO while I was a little turned off by my initial visit, all the rest of my interactions at this office have been positive!

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient for a routine, insurance-covered dental cleaning. Upon arrival, the office took a full array of new X-rays and conducted multiple exams. However, the office ultimately refused to perform the scheduled cleaning. They try to convince me that I needed a deep cleaning and I decline a couple times saying I only wanted a standard regular cleaning. So they left me sitting in the room until another staff came to tell me that they could not perform a standard cleaning unless I provided a complete, multi-year historical record of other dental cleaning I have received. I had already successfully transferred my recent cleaning record and X-rays from my previous dentist (dated December 2025), proving consistent care. My teeth and gums are healthy for a 70 year old person, and there was no clinical justification to deny care. After 3 re-scheduling and two hours that day, this office used a fabricated administrative barrier to withhold covered preventative care, likely to pressure me into unnecessary out-of-pocket treatments, all while billing my insurance for the diagnostic X-rays. I request a full investigation into this location's practices, due to non-completion of service, and that they be ordered to release my new X-rays to me without charge to prevent excess radiation.

In one visit, he replaced a crown on my tooth that had a decades-old root canal. And to my surprise, there was no need to wear a temporary crown for weeks! Dr. Golovin has all the latest technology and expertise for creating a new permanent crown right on site! He completed a beautiful, perfect, and complete restoration all on the same day. And that procedure, I can testify, was without pain or stress. Dr. Golovin's personable style makes dentistry a relaxed experience! But, my story with Dr. Golovin goes beyond dentistry. Recently, when I called his office to say I couldn't keep my appointment due to a painful left arm, his medical instincts caused him to ask me some key questions. I had a tooth pulled and a crown done both because my previous dentist failed on my bridge (only had it for two to three years). And the pain the day of and after is almost non existent. That alone is an unbelievable task!! And another thing that made me a believer and eased my anxiety level; my previous dentist told me I needed a root canal as well as the other tooth pulled. When Dr. Maltby got me in the chair he discovered I did not need that root canal and saved my tooth and my pocketbook instead. From the minute I met him, he made me feel understood and accepted. I sometimes am embarrassed going to the dentist. Feel like I'm being judged or something. He truly made me feel very comfortable and trusting of his ability and his attitude towards me. So long story short; go!! He's a good one. It's always hard (at least for me) to go to the dentist. But at least here, the staff and the dentist go out of their way so you feel as welcomed and comfortable as is possible.

When I made my appointment, I stated I needed a TOOTH EXTRACTION. THE office should have told me that they only do General dental work. THEY DO NOT HAVE AN ORAL SURGEON. This was poorly handled, the staff was unpleasant when I complained and I'm out the money for the discount plan that I renewed earlier this year. Not informing me before the procedure is sneaky to say the least. Had I been informed prior I would have gladly bought his plan. And I have been recommending him all over town. Never again.
