Requested help 1/12/26 to fix 2 Levelor blinds with cord restringing. Got an immediate response and estimate and an appt set for 1/20. Gary came to our home very much on time, checked out the blinds, and because it was an easy fix for him, instead of taking the blinds back to his workshop (which some other fixers would have done), he immediately fixed both of them having all the tools and supplies needed! Overall, my experience with this company was very positive and I'm satisfied with the results. Upon reaching out to Bay Area Blind Cleaners & Repairs via email, I received a prompt reply from Gary and we were able to schedule an in home appointment. On the day of the appointment, he arrived on time. He took about an hour to fix both and we're very happy with the repairs he made. There was an additional $50 service fee for conducting the repair at my home which I found reasonable rather than taking the blinds to their location. They only accept cash, check or Venmo. I called BABC to get pricing for 3 blinds next to family room/kitchen. I gave him the approximate measurements and scheduled a pick up and drop off. Gary engaged promptly and politely, giving an estimate based on photos I texted him, came to the house, removed them all so he could clean them very thoroughly in his own shop, brought them back beautifully cleaned, and reinstalled them, all within 5 days. His grandpa founded this business and Gary has worked in it since he was 12, inheriting it entirely a few years back.
