I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience because I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. I scheduled a post operative lymphatic drainage massage expecting professional, knowledgeable care during an important stage of my recovery. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that expectation. My appointment was originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m., but I was asked to come at 12:00 p.m. instead. Then, at 12:00 p.m., I received a text explaining that my appointment would be delayed because her previous client's faja was so tight that it was taking longer to get her back into it. That immediately made me uncomfortable because I didn't feel another client's treatment should have been discussed with me. Once the massage began, there were several things that concerned me. Her hair was half up, half down and repeatedly dragged across my bare back throughout the massage. While this may seem minor to some, I had fresh surgical incisions, and I expected a higher standard of sanitation and professionalism during my post operative care. At one point, her cell phone rang in the middle of my massage, and she actually started to answer it. I had to stop and ask, "Do you want me to answer it for you? I can put it on speaker." She responded, "Oh no, it's just unfortunate. Every time I start a massage, all my family members start calling me." I was shocked that answering a personal phone call during a client's treatment even seemed like an option. The most disappointing part was that she left me in the middle of my massage to go next door and apply numbing cream to another client who was there for a tattoo removal procedure. My appointment was supposed to be a full 60 minutes, but because it started late, was interrupted to service another client, and ended at approximately 1:17 p.m., I did not receive the full hour of treatment that I paid for. As a paying client recovering from surgery, I did not expect my appointment to be interrupted so another client could be treated. Another thing that immediately stood out was that I was handed brown paper towels to wipe my body after the massage, despite having fresh, open surgical incisions. As someone recovering from surgery, I expected clean, appropriate materials to be provided. That also made me question the sanitation practices being used. Most importantly, I left my appointment feeling worse than I did before I arrived. Afterward, I sought treatment from a licensed lymphatic drainage massage therapist. During my very first session, she was able to drain a significant amount of retained fluid that had not been released previously. Since switching therapist, my recovery has improved dramatically, and I've experienced consistent drainage and relief after every visit. The difference has been night and day. My concerns about professionalism didn't end there. During my appointment, she also shared personal information about her previous client with me. She shared with me that the woman had ribs removed, had extensive work done, that her clients husband joins her at every appointment and that he was very supportive. This being the same client, she was just previously texting me about saying that her faja was too tight. Hearing details about someone else's treatment made me question whether my own privacy would be respected. Regardless of the legal requirements, I believe every client deserves confidentiality and professionalism. When I later reached out to express my concerns and request a refund, I was met with defensiveness instead of accountability. There was no genuine concern about why I left feeling worse or why I had to seek treatment elsewhere. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this business for post operative lymphatic drainage massage. When you're recovering from surgery, you need a therapist who is fully present, follows appropriate sanitary practices, respects client confidentiality, and provides the quality care you paid for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I hope sharing this helps others make an informed decision before trusting someone with their recovery. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is my experience only, I cannot speak for anyone else, but I will say time is very important to me. My first appointment was scheduled on 5/5/23 at noon. I received a text asking to come in at 1pm. I should have taken that as a sign, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes things happen, so I purchased the package, as suggested by Maria. Well, my next appointment was 5/8/23 and everything was fine. Third appointment was 5/11/23 at 11:30, again I was asked to come in 15 minutes later this time, which I did. Well, after doing some traveling over a long weekend, I scheduled a massage for 5/16/23 at 5pm, the day following my return home. I arrive at the place of business at 4:50 only to be asked did DeAnna contact me to ask that I come in later because Maria was just starting on her 4pm. I was told I could wait there to start my appointment at 6pm. I was not going to wait an hour when I arrived on time and because THEY have a problem with time management. Maria had trouble contacting DeAnna and asked me to contact DeAnna. Apparently, the only was to contact DeAnna, who has not been in the place of business during any of my appointments, is by text because she does not answer her phone and the message states to send her a text to get a quick response. Funny thing is, I texted her around 5pm yesterday, told her that at this point that I will be canceling future appointments and we need to discuss my refund, as they have a problem holding up their end of the business deals......I'm sure you've guessed it, she has yet to respond to offer any type of solution for her very unprofessional business practices. Her attitude appears to be as if she is doing customers a favor , therefore we are on her time as opposed to the customer paying for a service. Maria is the only person there to give the massages. And, although she is a very nice and pleasant person, she cannot do it all while DeAnna is never around, at least during the times that I've been there, to offer any support. As this business is listed with DeAnna being the owner and only employee, it is clear she lacks professionalism and exhibits very poor customer service..as in the situation I've listed above, she has yet to respond by text or call to address the situation from yesterday. If you are looking for a place for pleasant conversation while getting your massages, and you do not have a problem with being on their time and not the scheduled time you allotted, then maybe the place for you. I'm old school and am of the generation were we respect people's time, this business does not practice that. Out of the 4 appointments I had scheduled with them in less than 2 weeks time, they only keep to the schedule 25% of the time, which tells me they do not take this business seriously. read more

This was an experience that had me booking the second consultation immediately following my treatment with Deanna. She took my measurements and pictures before treatment to do a comparison post treatment. I had a mommy makeover in November and was still very swollen and red throughout my abdomen. Deanna did several different treatments on my waist, back, neck, butt and legs within the two hour span. I felt zero pain from the treatments and was amazed by the "after" photos!
