I have been a patient at BAC since 2001 and have always received five-star care. However, I recently had to obtain a pre-surgery clearance that required observation and testing at a hospital. That experience was less than stellar. BAC and hospital staff kept me informed and conducted the stress test efficiently. However, BAC staff did not return after the test to discuss the results as they said they would - a hospital nurse informed me that I was released and I left the hospital without a signed clearance. Obtaining the clearance took eight business days and numerous phone calls, including many voicemails and a couple of actual conversations with promised call backs that never occurred. Finally, I went to the office and spoke with a receptionist named Emily, who doggedly tracked down the clearance, got it loaded into the system, and printed it out for me. (Thank you Emily.) I don't think anything is more annoying to a customer than poor communication from support staff. A call or text letting me know that the issue was actively being worked would have been nice. read more

horrible! The front desk check in are the best. the rest is horrible! Prescriptions aren't called in for weeks, unsigned notes are sent to other physicians. Every single time I deal with thesw physicians it's horrible!!! Go find another heart doctor! read more

Dr. Misiri is a Rockstar!!! Best cardiologist I have ever met, and I have met quite a few. She instills confidence with her bedside manner. You can feel that she really cares. She takes time to explain everything to your best understanding. She has great patience with her patients. (Aways wanted to say that. Now I have some to say it about!) I have seen at least four of the Doctors and not one could help me. The one doctor (female) didn't show up until almost an hour and a half after my appointment. After waiting more than an hour, she asked about my history and proceeded to say that what I was saying was not the case (in essence, calling me a liar). The history is documented in another state. She was rude and dismissive. The next doctor I saw basically said my "natural pace maker was broken" and said It could be fixed with an ablation. I was then sent to another doctor who put me on a $1,000 per month medication that only had 25% effective rate and refused to do an ablation (Not saying he was wrong). But the doctors should be in agreement. My mother's appointment has been rescheduled at least three times because we were told the doctors should would not be in the office. They call to reschedule less than a week before the appointment and then want to reschedule one to two months later. One doctor took my husband off ALL heart medications when he has already had a triple bypass and several stents, etc. His condition worsened and another doctor put him back on the medication and had to add additional meds. It takes several days to even contact anyone to make an appointment. This is the worst place to go for care. The one bright spot is the PA Sabrina Mau (who is wonderful). read more

Dr tahreen khan of Bay Cardiologists What a joke of a doctor. She told me in 2008 that there was no treatment for my type of heart disease, and offered no medication and told me that I would be dead within a year. Here we are in 2023 and I'm on medication and yes I'm still alive. Dr. Kahn. I would like to thank you for scaring me almost half to death I would also like to thank you for not filling out my Social Security disability papers You are a fool, and a terrible doctor you give the practice a bad name In my opinion, you should have your license taken away I'm sure you've done this to plenty of patients. Honestly you should be ashamed of yourself. I had a young daughter at the time, and she thought I was going to die based on what you told me was going to happen well, guess what I found the real cardiologist who gave me medication and I'm functioning just fine . Making an appointment with this group is ridiculous. I had the worst experience trying to make an appointment over the phone. First call- busy signal Second call - straight to voicemail Third call - I finally got through. For the next 47 minutes, I was subjected to annoying guitar sounds (can't call that janky garbage music), a continuous ad about Bay Area Cardiology telling me how great they are (don't tell me.....SHOW ME with excellent customer service!). The continuous ad on a loop was interrupted every 20-30 seconds with a message that said "your call is important to us, please stay on the line. You are caller #5). During the 47 minutes on hold, I moved from caller #7 to caller #5. Absolutely ridiculous! Treating customers this way is beyond disrespectful and it tells me a lot about the business. if they are this bad with what we can see how bad are they with that which we can't see? Are they that lax and uncaring with other aspects of their business? To add insult injury there was no way to make an appointment online. I eventually drove there and made an appointment in person. How can they not know they are this bad? The people in the office seem nice, but overworked. Mindy is an ARNP. She seems pretty nice, as well as knowledgeable. I can't speak about the rest of the doctors and nurses because I haven't met them. I am definitely considering going elsewhere in the future though. When a company puts so little effort into what most customers experience first, that tells me those in charge just don't care. That type of attitude permeates an organization. Having nice office employees along with a nice, knowledgeable ARNP doesn't negate that fact. read more

Front staff is terrible. Was on the way to do a stress test and they called to cancel 10 min prior to appt time. They charge a fee for late cancellation. Do you think I will get my lost wages for the day due to their incompetence? I think not. Would not recommend. read more

Bay Area Cardiology will be hearing from my attorney! Slice CT Scan in February 2022 showed I have an Aortic Aneurysm. Follow up after scan, the Dr. told me my heart was perfect no abnormalities. Guess what? WRONG!! I have been a ticking time bomb for 1.5 yrs. My PCM mentioned it to me. I was Shocked! Not to mention PISSED THE FUK OFF! Bay Area Cardiology is going down!! read more
