WOW. In just one visit Dr. Phan gave me relief from tendonitis/repetitive strain injury and a sore neck -- something my Kaiser doctors and specialists hadn't been able to do in 10+ years!! He gave me tons of tips and things to try at home so I wouldn't need to pay him a fortune to do it for me every week. Speaking of cost, they are incredibly reasonable ($45 per session, plus an extra $25 for the initial exam today). Dr. Phan is so easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner. I haven't been to this center, but I have had Ryan Enriquez as my chiropractor at a different place. I've never experienced chiropractic care before I had gotten into a minor car accident that made me need it. Ryan is very accommodating and works well with your schedule! Everyone's chiropractic experience is different, but I do know that Ryan's adjustments definitely helped me recover from the pain caused by the accident! Recently while experiencing some back pain I logged on to Yelp to find a chiropractor in my area. After reading multiple reviews I decided to give Dr. Phan a call after some glowing reviews. Well after visiting him a couple times I can assure you that he is worthy of all the positive reviews. He returned my call immediately and gave me an appt. the next day. Upon arrivinal Dr. Phan had me fill out a couple forms and went right to work. He explains in very simple terms what he is going to do and how he will go about it. Could not sleep because my back and body was aching, popping pain killers every night with my Usana vitamin packs was kinda not making sense, just trying to get a decent nights rest. I fell two months ago off a 12' ladder and landed on the warehouse cement pad. God blessed me with only 12 stitches that wrapped around my knee cap and 2 weeks of loss work. I could not figure out why i was so tires and groggy and had been a dick head for the past months, but i finally looked in the mirror after showering and saw my right shoulder was about an inch higher than my drooping left..... For some reason I thought that I posted a review for this Clinic long time ago, but I guess I did not... And I absolutely feel like this clinic deserves a 6 Star Review, unfortunately only 5 stars is available ;-) I've been treated by Dr. Phan for over 4 years now. I'm 32 years old and I'be been at 6 different Chiropractors so far in my life. I often suffer from different types of back pain all do to my wrong previous inactive lifestyle. Dr. Phan is without a doubt the best one of all!!! Even on a super bad day like I had on last Sunday that I barely could move cause of Piriformis pain and today (Monday) Dr. Phan was able to see me at 3pm and by 3:30pm I was able to walk 99% normal. And by the evening time I almost feel like nothing ever happened to me. Dr. Phan always was able to figure out what's exactly going on with me and what's causing my pain. He's always veery detailed at explaining it, giving suggestions how to prevent or avoid this pain of coming back and providing with some basic stretches or exercises to help with the problem. I've absolutely never had any bad or negative experience during any of my visits at Dr. Phan's office. Well, one day in my pregnancy back pain kicked in, ok who am I kidding, I have had these problems but it's just freaking painful now... Dr. Phan is amazing!!! He's def my go to when my body is wearing down on me from the physical stresses of my line of work. I don't know what I would do if it weren't for him. I pretty much agree with all the other reviews on here. I usually hate doctors and have not had good experiences with the majority of them. I was really skeptical to try chiropractic care as I was not really sold on the idea that someone manipulating your spine can help much of anything. After finally caving in and giving it a try, I went to Dr. Phan on the suggestion of a friend. Holy crap! Just a few weeks later and I could tell the difference! I had no lower back pain anymore! I also used to wake up with my back all stiff and creaky. Dr. Phan was able to make that go away as well. I was looking for a chiropractor and was very skeptical but my back was keeping me awake at night due to pain and i woke up every morning with a pounding headache . I don't ever see chiropractors, but I had what I thought was the worst pinched nerve in my life, ongoing for a month and a half. I looked up chiropractors in Hayward and read Dr. Phan's positive reviews and decided to give him a try. It turned out to be the best decision I've made health-wise in years. Dr. Phan applied electrical stimuli to the area, adjusted my spine, and explained to me in detail what was happening physiologically and how best to heal myself at home. I left his office feeling a little better, but in the following days I had dramatic improvement thanks to his home treatment advice. I called Dr. Phan this morning because I was having incredible neck pain, and I read several good reviews here on Yelp! The doctor made time to speak with me on the phone, and after I described my pain he said that he thought he could help me and proceeded to get me an appointment this evening. When I got to his office, there was minimal paperwork and fuss. Upon meting him, I immediately felt at ease, and knew this was someone I could trust with my back and neck! He really took care of me, and I don't just mean he treated my pain - he made me feel like my discomfort really mattered to him! As an added bonus, he was wonderful with my 11 year old son, who I had to bring with me. I will definitely be seeing him again should the need arise, and if you live in the Hayward area and DON'T see Dr. Phan you are just plain silly! Dr. Romo is AMAZING! I have been seeing him since October of 2010. When he changed locations, I followed him, and when I moved, I continued to go to him. He is very attentive, asks me how my day is, what's going on in my life, and genuinely cares. I felt very comfortable with him from the very beginning. When I first started going to him I had been working in retail for 2 years, standing all day, and had a bad bunion on my left foot. Within a few months, my bunion was VISIBLY improved by about 75-80% and my pain had gone from about a 7 to a 3. I wish I had taken a before picture so I could post the before and after here! Also, he is very honest and straight forward. I don't do my feet exercises like I should and I know it and he reminds me that I have to do my part and that getting adjustments will only take me so far.
