I saw Dr. Tran in 2022 to treat my plantar fasciitis. After a couple of sessions, my pain went away. I have suffered years of chronic pain, migraines, sciatica and RA autoimmune. I was distraught after receiving my mri results - which resulted in life time physical therapy and 1800mg of Gabapentin. I was even told to get cortisone injection bi weekly and was planned to get spinal epidural. I lost hope and struggled daily couldn't function with chronic pain. Dr. Tran is my miracle! New to the Hayward area, which makes finding doctors difficult - especially doctors you can trust. I got lucky with Mission Chiropractor as it was in network AND awesome reviews that backs Dr Tran's care. He explained everything thoroughly and plans an agenda for your care. For me - I had lower back pain, so he explained the type of care I would need to do and how many times a week would be best to heal. He always told me "this is a team work - you and i have to want the same thing, which is to get you feeling 100% better". And I took that to truth. I did everything he told me to do and he would do the same. Literally in a month time of seeing him, I felt so much better! Overall, I was lucky to find Dr. Tran. His office is extremely close to where I live, the price was very competitive, his great warm personality and he got rid of my back and arm pain. I've seen people from young to elderly getting treatment or adjustments. My situation was that I had an upper neck disc pain connected to nerves on my entire left arm. It was very painful and annoying each time I tilted my neck forward from a 10 degree angle. It would also generate numbness and tingling feeling on my left arm. As time went by, the left side of my upper body became sore due to the constant strains from my neck. It all started from a stiff neck and I suffered with it for about a month until deciding to go to Dr Tran. It could also be due to my bad posture when I'm on the computer. I had done a total of 10 sessions, coming in twice a week. He did consistent treatment every time. The most helpful treatment was traction. The first one was NUTs just because I've never have experienced it before. It was: hella funny, relaxing, a huge surprise and actually not painful. I couldn't hold my laugh and had to leave the room to stop laughing -- it was my reaction to the unexplainable feeling of relief. The only way I can explain is you would feel you grew another foot by expanding your spinal column -- like an accordion stretched out. The next treatment that helped a lot was the heat lotion that I purchased from him. It was extremely hot but helped with the pain -- heat is good for body pain. The only odd response I have is the cubicle style sectionals, there isn't a lot of privacy besides the walls and curtains. You can hear patients and Dr. Tran talk about their own ailments. Take it with a grain of salt if you're a very private person or you're ok to learn about how other people are doing. I guess think about being a community space where you can share your pains and see how people are getting better. Another thing to know is that Dr. Tran operates alone without an assistant though he's super efficient and does not really impede with the treatments. Understand that when you come in he will be in and out of your cube space. I believe he did mention that he will be hiring someone this year to help him out. To conclude it, Dr. Tran fixed my problem and I didn't have to go into my official doctor and get medicated. I was scared that if my pain didn't go away I would see a future like my father who had 2 major back disc surgeries which never fixed the problem and eventually became a chronic issue. We are filing a malpractice against this Chiropractor. I don't know how he got so many good reviews. Personally, I think it is all fake reviews. That was how my mom and I got tricked into going to his practice. This Chiropractor goes by Dr. Tran. My mom brought my mom into his office a couple months ago, because my mom was experiencing some neck pain down to her right shoulder. When we arrived, we didn't expect that it was something like a crappy location; low light, unsanitary beds, funky smell. It didn't really feel right. Since we had made an appointment, well, we said to each other, "let's walk in and see what he has to offer." We waited for a while even though we had an appointment. That made sense, because he is a one man show I believe. I don't think he has anyone who helps him. When it was my mom's turn, he asked my mom to sign a ton of paper and kept pointing out that the clause states something like if things don't go right and he won't be liable. I was already a little suspicious. We were like whatever, we were there already. Let's see what he had to offer. He proceeded to assess my mom's pain and treated her neck and shoulder. My mom said the first treatment was fine and felt that the shoulder was a little loose. The second treatment was where the problem began. At the second treatment, he pulled my mom (63 year old) arm too hard and possibly tore and disclosed my mom's shoulder. My mom had to go to hospital and did the xray and wore a sling for a couple weeks. We told him about what happened, he kept deferring that he didn't do anything wrong and told my mom to go back so he could treat my mom for free for two months until she recovers. My mom went back maybe for two weeks, but nothing improved. She stopped going and is still feeling the pain. It has been a little more than 7 or 8 months. I felt that we will need to let the world know. Just don't go. He is not your chiropractor. He will make your pain worse. This shop should close down and stop hurting other people. read more
