I had a wonderful first experience at Atlas Health Center (formerly The Function Chiropractic & Wellness) today! Dr. Mike is amazing, he listened to my concerns, he thoroughly explained what he was doing and why and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I've seen various chiropractors throughout my many years of life and most only do a few adjustments and done... not Dr. Mike, he did a visual and physical exam and then did gentle adjustments to my back, hips, shoulder, neck, even my ankle (who knew ankles needed adjusting, I didn't!). AND he does a quick muscle massage on each part before adjusting, who doesn't love a little massage, yes please! My body felt really good when I left. I didn't go for a specific problem or injury, just the usual body aches and stiffness and want to improve my overall health and mobility. Long overdue review... The team was welcoming, warm and down to earth. I came here after a car accident and saw Dr. Vinson for adjustments/treatments. My body was achy and in a great deal of pain. Dr. Vinson took the time to research ways to aid our care by using different techniques and treatments. He was very attentive in our journey in healing. I felt comfortable to be myself/express myself (in profanity) - especially when certain muscles need to be worked on. I haven't been to a chiropractor for about 10 years and finally got to the point where stretching wasn't enough for my shoulders and neck. There was no improvement after 5 treatments and they didn't accept my insurance. They do have a subscription service for $200 per month. They're good if you have small aches, but they didn't help me for more serious conditions. Went back to my typical therapist who's much further away for $200 per treatment and was better after the first treatment and was healed in 5 treatments. read more

I'd never been to a chiropractor and didn't know of any so I checked Yelp, which is how I found The Function Chiropractic Group! It was definitely the right decision. At my first appointment I was immediately put at ease by the terrific office team. They're friendly, professional, funny and just great. I can't say enough about Dr. Vinson and Dr. Miguel! I saw Dr. Vinson on my first visit and he was/is wonderful! He asked questions, listened to my answers, fully answered my questions to him and totally explained what was causing my issues and what he'd be doing for adjustments. He took his time on every visit, always asked how I was feeling, what was or wasn't hurting, etc. I never felt like he was in a big hurry. Dr. Miguel was/is my other go-to chiropractor. He's also terrific! I'd see him if if I wanted a slight change of pace in my treatments. The first time I saw Dr. Miguel he went over everything going on with me very thoroughly. I haven't been to a chiropractor in my life and I've been watching YouTube videos to prepare myself for the inevitable. I had concerns about my bad posture because I saw pictures of myself hunched. I also drive long hours to commute to work and I push and pull 150 pound carts at a angle. So I booked an appointment with Dr. Lieu, and he was extremely knowledgeable! Came in there for back posture and learned some tips and felt like jello afterwards. He made sure I felt comfortable and after one session, I feel like I can bend and touch my toes now which I could never do before so I was very shocked at how flexible and stretched out I felt. Dr. lieu was also very personable and you can tell he was very passionate about his job and the function of the body. Parking was just outside and very easy and convenient. They also took my pictures to see how my posture was and I can see how I can improve on it with more sessions. Overall 5 stars for this place! read more

I'm a current student at Life West and have had Dr. Cedric as a teacher. I trust him as a knowledgable teacher and as my chiropractor. Easy for me to be biased but this guy is really good. He's got the sports background and is big on stretching. Also his pin and stretch moves make me wanna punch him(jokingly) but just breathe through them and you will see results. I always leave there with less tightness in my mid back and neck which are my main problem areas. The Function Chiropractic is off the charts good. I've seen a few chiropractors before, but never stuck with them long(er) term because I didn't really feel like I was getting any better. I have a few sports injuries from working out/heavy lifting and was in a car accident ten years ago and the combination of these includes a lot of discomfort in my upper back and many imbalances overall. I've been seeing Dr. Vinson for a few months now and feel SO much better than when I first started coming to see him. The pain in my back is virtually non-existent and a long term abductor problem is substantially better than it was when I first started seeing him and continues to get better each time! The imbalances that I also felt previously while working out are virtually gone as well (some I didn't even know I had!) I do continue to have new problems pop up here and there and Dr. Vinson is amazing at addressing them each time I see him. I also appreciate that they don't rely on fancy gadgets like many chiropractors seem to do. The knowledge Dr. Vinson (and I'm sure the other chiropractors) have about the body far surpasses any of the fancy gadgets from other offices.
