Dr. Linh is amazing! I'm a plumber and recently hurt my back. I let it go for too long and did nothing about it until I could almost not stand up straight. Her practice is near my house so I thought I'd give her a shot. She is super kind, knowledgeable about what I needed and what I need to do outside of work to prevent more damage to my body. My husband saw Dr. Linh after his car accident, which was more than 10 years ago. I was never a fan of chiropractor for myself. However, there were a couple of occasions where I REALLY needed to see one. About 10 years ago, I woke up with a really painful, lower back pain. I could not stand straight, sit, move, anything. My husband suggested I see Dr. Linh. I was in so much pain that I agreed. After two treatments- I was back to normal. Just a few weeks ago- Dr. Linh DID IT AGAIN! I was having neck/shoulder pain for over two weeks. I thought it might be a stiff neck and figured I would ride it out. Dr.Linh is a vibe herself! I been having back aches for years! I work from home but also my posture has not been the best due to a lot of weight I carry in the front. Every morning I wake up to an aching back. It was not a good feeling. I went and checked out Nguyen Chiropractic in a small local shopping center close to my home. It was my 1st time ever seeing a chiropractor. I walked in and told her my problem and wanted to see her quota. For one session if paying in cash it's $55 but if paying with card it's $60. Immediately she booked me for the next day. I wouldn't recommend doing walk in appointments for she is usually really busy so definitely call before if you want a "day of" appointment. I filled out a form and signed some papers she gave me when I walked in prior to coming to my appointment the next day. She's really nice and has a soothing voice and very friendly demeanor. Felt as if she was my friend I met before. She 1st examines your muscles by asking you to touch your toes and turn your head and body different directions to find areas of pain. I then laid down on a massage like bed. She put a machine on me that relaxed my back muscles for a good 10-20minutes. Then she pops ya! I had 2 appointments back to back which she recommends so the treatment really sinks in. But after the 1st day, I woke up the next morning feeling no aches!! I was so happy and so surprised because that ache was there for years! Dr.Linh recommends keeping up with your treatment through exercise & stretching. Dr. Linh is fantastic, and her gentle touch paired with simply being personable makes her business a GEM in San Lorenzo. I am in excellent health and exercise by walking 7-8 miles daily. Very out of the blue two years ago I began suffering with pain in my hip, thigh and buttocks. I visited my primary physician who referred me to an orthopedist. After x-ays, an MRI and an ultra-sound, he told me I had bursitis and some deterioration of my lower spine. He gave me a cortisone shot and sent me for a month of physical therapy. The PT just made me feel worse. I was in constant pain and, as a daily walker of 7-8 miles, this really put a crimp in my routine. I stopped PT and the Dr told me to start working with a trainer to strengthen my core which would help with the hip pain. I also started seeing a medical massage therapist. Then the pandemic hit and I had to stop the massages which was the only relief I got from the pain. I don't take prescription pain meds. During the entire pandemic, I continued my walking and I have suffered from the pain constantly, especially at night when it prevented me from sleeping on my sides or would wake me up. Finally, after hearing the suggestion enough times from others and getting fully vaccinated for Covid, I decided to try a chiropractor. I had never experienced chiropractic care before and I was, frankly, kind of skeptical and scared too. My physical therapist and the doctors never mentioned it as an alternative treatment. A neighbor recommended Dr. Nguyen and, after reading her reviews, I decided to see her. I was able to see her within a day. Right away Dr Nguyen suspected that my problem was not in my hip but was actually my sacroiliac (SI) joint. She had me move around and tested my joints and range of motion. She asked me questions about the start of and location of the pains, etc. She recommended adjusting the SI joint as a first step as she really didn't believe it was my hip. Even after just one adjustment I felt so much better but she told me that I should come back the following day for another adjustment for the most benefit and she was right! That was last week and I saw her one more time this week just to make sure everything was on track and today I feel better than I have in two years!! She explains everything as she works and makes sure you are as comfortable as possible. She is small in stature but wow, she knows just how to move you to do the job! I cannot say enough about how fortunate I feel to have seen Dr. Nguyen and have her work her magic on me. I truly was at my wit's end and didn't know where to turn to get some relief from this pain. She is very flexible with her scheduling and Nathan in her office is so helpful and friendly. I feel so relieved knowing who to go to if I have this or other issues again. Dr. Nguyen is so awesome. As an obsessor of back and bone cracking videos, I felt I needed my first adjustment in my neck and upper back. I suffered an injury that caused severe sciatic nerve pain. I was in so much pain and could only walk or stand for 2mins at a time. My Kaiser doctor gave me pain meds and muscle relaxers that didn't offer any relief. One Fri morning I woke up one morning with a horrible stiff neck, but still managed to drive to work that morning. By the afternoon, one of my officemates whom I look up to as one of my big sisters gave me a very sorry look and recommended that I see her chiropractor in San Lorenzo, and was even willing to drive with me there. She sounded very confident I will feel better like 100% guaranteed. We went to see Dr Linh Nguyen that evening (almost). When checked, I was almost immobile of my neck and could hardly turn left or right. Dr Linh gently touched my neck, and explained what could be causing that terrible pain. She was so relaxed and comforting, and just relied on her to heal me. After an hour or so, I felt better and can move my neck slowly. She asked that I come back the next day which was a Saturday to do followup checks and adjustments that I will need. I've never been to a chiropractor before coming here... My review is long overdue! Dr. Linh is the best! I was in EXCRUCIATING pain... it had been days since I had walked, I could barely move, and when I couldn't get myself up to sit on the toilet after spending 20 minutes army crawling to the bathroom, I finally went to the hospital. Eden Medical Center did nothing for me-- said I had sciatica. I ended up going to a physical thereapist and to my doctor who both agreed I did not have sciatica, I have a pretty messed up sacroiliac joint. Finally after years of suffering random, yet excruciating pain since 7th grade, I got an answer! So like I said, I went to the hospital and all they could do was give me steroids, which did nothing for my pain. I went to a physical therapist who showed me things that I could have done at home with YouTube. Then I met Dr. Linh. She helped me in ways no one else could!
