It's been 6 months since Jason had installed a Thinkware U3000 dash cam for both the front and rear of my 2025 Lexus during late January and they both work great, without any issues. I was originally going to buy a Vantrue N4 Pro 3 Channel 4K dash cam from Amazon (as I had an older version of a Vantrue in my old car) and have that professionally installed, but was advised by Jason the reasons why he felt the Thinkware is better and after doing some research on this and comparing the two, I decided to go with his suggestion and am glad that I did and have no regrets. With the Vantrue installed on my 2007 Scion tC back in 2021, there were numerous issues in the beginning with both the front & rear dash cam and wiring/cables not working properly, with a lot of back and forth contacting the manufacturer and having them send me the camera units and cables from China, at least three times. Even though I had that dash cam installed professionally, the whole thing was a huge headache as it took a while for everything to work properly. There was a risk with this possibly happening again and it complicating things down the road, especially considering how Jason didn't recommend that model/manufacturer and the reasons why it's really not necessary to have an LED screen on the front unit for you to look at. Jason showed up at my residence to install and although I was quoted about 3 hours, it took less time than that. I did find it so much more convenient that unlike the last time I had a dash cam installed in my old car with having to go out of my way and the stress about the lack of parking at the dash cam business, having it installed in front of your home was absolutely stress free, for sure. Jason explained clearly how to operate the dash cam, how to use the app that came with it, he was a pleasure to speak to, provided excellent, professional service and the work done with installing the cameras was fantastic. Upon viewing files on the app of what's being recorded from the Thinkware U3000, the quality of the videos from both the front and rear are of really good quality, everything is crystal clear. read more

He asked me to change my review back from 1 star to 4 or 5 after that he said he would help fix the camera HE installed that's broken now and doesn't turn on. Then he called me a terrorist!! I don't deal with people who blackmail me and NEVER respond to texts or answer the phone. And who runs a business with a voicemail box that is full 24/7? What kind of professionalism is that!!? Stay away from Jason if you want to get any response or work done. Plus, he's manipulative and likes to play games. I only got a response from him when I wrote my Yelp review. WTF is that!? You may get a text reply by Christmas time, but I can't make any promises. read more

First, his vm box is full, so you can't leave a message. He'll call you back based on the missed call, ask about the work you need, then disappear. If you're too busy to take on the project, just say so. No need to ignore potential customers who are trying to book your services. Would never recommend this business based on rudeness alone. A long overdue review. Must have been 5 years ago that I first asked Jason to install a car camera. I was impressed by his quality work and attention to detail. He is easy to talk to and very informative too. Ever since then I've had Jason install cameras on other cars and by now he's helped install 4 sets of car cams. The first couple times I bought my own cameras from amazon and he did the installation. This time around I took his recommendation for a car camera. We recently bought a new Kia Niro EV that has a very loud reverse chime that sounds like a forklift in a warehouse. It's totally unacceptable in a residential neighborhood at night, but there is no way to turn it off. I dug around on some online forums and found a viable solution but did not want to DIY it. He carefully navigated me doing preliminary troubleshooting (which I prefer doing). Alas I was not able to fix myself. If I ever need work done in the future, I will definitely seek him out. *Details* I had a problem starting my car and suspected that the car alarm starter immobiliser may have been the cause. I called Jason on a Sunday morning during a long weekend hoping to find someone who might be able to take a look and work on it. Both Jason and his tech were unfortunately booked already for the following two days, but he generously started troubling shooting my problem with me over the phone, and continued to do so via text message even after we hung up. Because of Jason's help, I was able to determine that the root cause of my problem was not in my alarm system.
