My husband and I lived in Hawaii for 2 years and lived on Acai bowls so this definitely brought me back to the island! Can't wait to try the other options they have. There were so many!

I ended up with a lox bagel and miso caramel latte. The bagel was delicious! It filled me up and helped me feel ready for my day. The miso caramel latte was the shining star. The bowl was tasty but nothing to get too excited over. I feel like it needed more toppings and was mostly smoothie liquid. The peanut butter is as good as i've heard so i did want more of that in it. I think they really skimped on the fruit toppings - it's a $15 bowl with only banana and strawberries on it so i think more would've been appropriate. To drink, my kids were able to get juice boxes (apple and fruit punch). I got the iced dulce de leche latte, which was pretty good though had a little bit of a different flavor that took some getting used to. My wife got the Maine maple latte, which she said was really good. Being dedicated gluten free, they definitely have some challenges, especially with baked goods, that most places don't have to deal with, so I'm willing to cut some slack here. There was a family there when I went that was treating this small coffee shop as a daycare, which made my experience even more disappointing. The screams were echoing throughout the cafe, and I ended up sitting outside for peace and fresh air. The outside seating area is nice. Overall, not a great first experience for me, but maybe their food is better than the coffee?

It was nice to have a little treat when I felt too lazy to cook lunch. My one complaint is the usage of masks. I was the only customer with a mask and saw no sign on the door. Also, there were two girls working and one had a mask on and the other had hers hanging off her face (not covering her nose or mouth). She put the mask back on when I walked in but it was a bit alarming to see in the current environment. Hopefully management gets that a little more under control EDIT: went back again and still improper mask usage?? Really disappointing to see. Wearing a mask properly is not hard and I'm not sure why this business thinks why are above protecting other people. I won't be back.
