What a cute little coffee shop. I only got a coffee to go but it was really great. The bowls looked good. Lots of tables to have a meeting. The barista was pleasant and the coffee came out fast. Cute spot.

Great caprese sandwich so delicious The smoothie was also excellent. Went back the next day to try to açai bowl and it was fantastic and beautifully plated. Best I've had.

My friends and I stopped by this spot since it was just a short walk from our hotel. It's such a cute place with plants on the walls that give it a cozy, aesthetic vibe. We came for coffee which was nice and strong and breakfast, hoping for something a bit heavier to keep us full before a busy day of bike riding. We ended up just getting coffee and a pastry, but we'd definitely come back next time for a light breakfast or snack the next time we are in town

Bom Dia Cafe - A Bright & Refreshing Spot in Portland! If you're looking for a cozy, plant-filled oasis with amazing açai bowls, smoothies, and coffee, Bom Dia Cafe at 47 India St, Portland, ME is a must-visit! I seriously need a plant wall like theirs in my home--such a vibe! We tried The Freshie Bowl ($14) --their signature açai blend topped with Grandy Organics granola, banana, strawberries, almond butter, bee pollen, coconut flakes, and local honey. The bee pollen addition? Chef's kiss . Super filling and such a great deal for the price! For a smoothie, we had the 47 India ($9/$5) --a blend of coconut water, honey, banana, blueberry, strawberry, spinach, and avocado. So refreshing, nutrient-packed, and the perfect way to start your day! Overall, I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in Portland! 8/10 food, 8/10 ambiance, 8/10 affordability. Whether you need a healthy pick-me-up or just want to chill in a plant-filled cafe, Bom Dia is where it's at!

The coffee and the shop were both a pick me up on a drizzly cold day

Amazing coffee in a bright and happy spot! The mocha was so rich and flavorful, perfect for a rainy day

What a pleasant and relaxed space Bom Dia has created! For decor/atmosphere, think minimalist tropical vibes (...don't forget to say "good morning" to the cactus with googly eyes!). There was a lot more seating available than I thought there might be: mostly two top low tables, a few bar seats under their vibrantly painted name on the wall, and all the way in the back there's this cozy c-shaped enclosed wooden seating for larger parties. The staff also seemed easygoing and were patient with everyone who came in. The smoothies aren't for me personally. I prefer mine suuuuuuuuuper thick (and still don't know where in Portland to get that), and these have more the texture of a melted milkshake. Maybe it's because they use both frozen and fresh fruits? Also, despite it taking a longish time for our drinks to come out, they were both still quite chunky. I get smoothie textures are totally preferential, so you should visit and try them yourself! Things to note as of writing this: 1. To go cups are an extra .25 charge; but, bringing your own cup saves you .25! 2. Non-dairy milk for your coffee has a $1 upcharge (... I was hoping we were moving past these days). 3. Online ordering is super easy and convenient, and available daily!

Adorable spot! Fun bright decor, friendly staff, great coffee and açaí bowl. Beautiful food presentation too. Nothing negative to say.

i was very impressed by this place! it's always nice to find a place that makes both exceptional coffee and smoothie bowls. usually one comes at the expense of the other. we got the 47 india and the parking lot, both great! the parking lot was a little on the thinner side (i prefer thicker but that's personal preference). the vibe was great and staff were friendly! i'd certainly come back again.

Wonderful vibes in this place! Service was friendly and helpful. Taste and value were great.

Ordered take out nearby and decided to check this spot since I've never been here before. This small cafe had smoothie bowls, coffee, and bagels to enjoy. I got an ice mocha later for a decent price considering it's Portland. It was very delicious. This spot had a few seatings to enjoy your drink or study. Will be back again.

This place exceeded my expectations! The staff is so friendly and kind and the service is fairly quick. I knew the açaí bowls would be good but the lox bagel was amazing and exceeded my expectations! This is a great spot to go if you're looking for a healthy lighter breakfast

The overall ambiance was wonderful. The bowl was good, could've been slightly larger serving for the price. Overall very fresh, beautiful presentation. We will be back!

When you see the line out the door, don't despair, as the line moves relatively quickly and people are generally mindful to not dawdle, so seating opens up quickly as well. I tried the jalapeno cheddar biscuit, the rhubarb scone, and had a bite of the rhubarb hibiscus pie. Everything was amazing, the platonic ideal of a biscuit and a scone. And I am weak for anything rhubarb, so the generous amount of rhubarb in the scone really did the trick. The rhubarb hibiscus pie has quite a bit of that botanical hibiscus flavor but I liked it! It might not be for everyone, though. Their coffee is also really good, and a perfect accompaniment to their excellent pastries. I also have to give props to their staff and how friendly and welcoming everyone was despite being totally slammed at all times. I know if I was working at a place as busy as Tandem I'd be way more frazzled than they came off. Anyone who knows me knows that I hate waiting in line for things, but this place is efficient enough and the food/coffee was so excellent that I actually didn't resent the line. I'd even wait again! We tried out the egg and cheese biscuit, the savory loaded biscuit, and two flavored lattes (one brown sugar cinnamon and the other maple). Loved both of the biscuits but had a slight preference for the egg and cheese one. Both biscuits were soft and buttery yet crisp with the best salt on top. We got there right at opening on a weekday and there was already a long line to enter, but the staff moves everyone through quickly. It is worth noting that indoor seating is very limited and there is more outdoor seating. We decided to purchase some of their coffee beans as a gift. Tandem is very popular for good reason and well worth visiting, whether as a tourist or as a local.
