I had absolutely no issues with the service provided or the quality of the work. As expected, everything was exceptional. My only complaint is with Matt and Carlos. There really should be a company policy prohibiting them from looking so much alike. Whether it's the matching haircuts--or lack thereof--they need to establish separate identities. I completely embarrassed myself in a client-filled lobby when I confidently called out their name as they walked away only to realize I was calling the wrong person. Recently had my 07 Silverado 2500 HD worked on by Bay Cities due to damage on the passenger side bed and door. They came off very professional and very comforting in the aspect of being able to get the job done in a timely manner and with great quality/care. However When the day came to pick up my truck it was poorly assembled. My door handle had a broken clip which was done by their techs and they swore they didn't break anything along with the door lights not being connected and wires hanging out the door. My tail lights poorly aligned. The cab missing top rubber Gromit on the roof. Poor welding (broken tacks) (poor welds covered by seam sealer). My trailer connections were left hanging in my spear tire location. The bed side doesn't sit the same as the driver side. The passenger rear door paint job looks like there's warpage due to bad bodywork and doesn't close properly . Over all not happy and I wouldn't recommend although they stand by their work (craftsmanship only ) if they couldn't do it right the first time kinda hard to try to trust him the second time read more

I brought in my 2017 Honda Pilot due to paint peeling on the rear roof and spoiler area, which was making the vehicle look aged. My headlamps were also dull, causing poor nighttime visibility. I chose Bay Cities because they had done insurance work on my previous vehicle and I was pretty happy with the results. Here's a little more detail: The repair I needed was pretty small, super annoying, and I was unable to repair it to my own satisfaction! I GOT STRAIGHT LIED TO AND MY DAD CAUGHT THEM IN A LIE! IF YOU'RE A FEMALE THEY WILL STRING YOU ALONG & LOSE CAR PARTS I got into my first accident ever late June. I was looking into the in network shops that my insurance covers. I had two other shops quote me stating that my car could be done in 8-10 Business Days (out of network shops) but I decided to give this place a try to save some money. WORST MISTAKE MADE. My dad is a mechanic but since it was my first accident I told I could handle it myself but to just come join me. I had my dad go with me to sign off on the work that was needed and GEOVANY told my dad that an alignment had to be done & that they could do it. My insurance paid their portion on July 2nd. My car was estimated to be done initially by July 15th. Then my car got pushed to be done by the 18th, which I let slide because I am not going to complain about 3 days. I called the day before my car was going to be ready and I was assured that "everything was on schedule to be done by the 18th". I got a call on the 18th early morning by Geovany that unfortunately they CANNOT do my alignment at the shop but they are sending to another shop as we speak that can help and it would be done latest tomorrow the 19th. I let my dad know and he went to see where the car was sent and what the issue was because GEOVANY TOLD HIM THAT AN ALIGNMENT COULD BE DONE THERE. Geovany told my dad jokingly that the mechanic that does alignments got taken by ICE and obviously that is not something to say in a joking matter. MY DAD WAS EXTREMELY OFFENDED and lost all respect for this business at this point The cherry on top is that my car had not been taken to the other shop yet (4PM) and my dad saw it sitting in their lot. To make a long story short I didn't get my car until the 22nd thanks to my dad BUT.. THEY RETURNED MY CAR WITHOUT A FRONT LICENSE PLATE AND WHEN ASKED ABOUT IT THEY SAID THEY LOST IT AND TO SEND A BILL. Sadly I trusted Bay City Auto Body with my 2025 Sierra truck ... they come off at the start to be professional ... I had two claims with my truck and trusted them to fix it ... they told me two weeks to get the needed repairs done and to get the parts needed .. they have a text system that text you with updates constantly which is good but I found out to be worthless and not accurate. The day my car was to be ready I called to confirm and I was told verbally and by text that my truck was complete and was being inspected and that I would be notified it was thoroughly inspected ... I received a call finally after 3:45 / 4pm and was told the truck was ready ... I asked when they were closing and they said they close at 5 but he would wait... I was over an hour away but with traffic arrived at 5:30 approx ... while I was waiting for one of the owners Carlos to help me I started to load up my things from the rental ... at one point when I went back into office Carlos asked me if I inspected the truck ? my truck was parked out front and it was dark and no lights to be able to see anything so I thought that was a strange questioned as well as I was told from early that morning that the truck had to go through a inspection before I picked it up ... I said I didn't think I could see anything since there was no lighting and it was so dark ... At that point I noticed a heavy chemical smell coming from the interior of the cab and I also notice that they used red lettering on the grill ... My truck had black lettering when I brought it in and all other lettering was black ... I showed it to Carlos and he just said they would have to order it and they would let me know as if it was convenient for me to bring the truck back get another rental and do this all over again ... I said no cause I was also worried about the smell of the cab .... this was on a monday I wasn't happy for a few reasons .. one was I just drove in an hour and a half traffic to get there as well as the disappointment of the truck not ready .. you would think they would understand that but they did not Carlos just said merry Christmas ! Not in a good use of a way.. very derogatory manner .. I was told that they would have it ready on Friday ... I spoke to adjuster and to Gio at Bay Cities and was confirmed on Wednesday it would be ready Friday ... come Friday I wasn't informed til late afternoon they didn't have parts .. which then it was told to me my truck would be ready the following Thursday ... Thursday am I received a text at 7 am saying my truck was ready to come home ... so I started my drive into area and about 10:30 / 11 called Gio to let him know I would like to be there about 1 pm to pick up my truck he said that he would have to call me back and I asked why he said he wasn't sure truck was ready ... I said I received a text at 7 am saying it was ... he then said that was a mistake and that he would call me in about 30 min... when he called me back he said they found an issue / damage to the back of my truck ..I said that's strange there was no damage there then he changed it to they call it the back but it's the side and elaborated about a specific part of the wheel area ... and kept saying that they know how I want my truck perfect .. lol ... I asked doesn't everyone want their car done well... I've never used those words ... I didn't asked for perfect so it was strange to keep hearing that statement about how I wanted it perfect and that's why it wasn't ready .... I spoke to my adjuster the next day and found out that while my truck was in bay cities care that they damaged the back of my truck so I was being lied too... on top of no apology ... I still have not heard from anyone on when my truck will be ready ... Don't be fooled by them ... I don't believe they really care and they have missed so many things so the inspection process means nothing as far as I'm concerned ... Sadly still without my truck for over a month ... Good luck to those who try them I'm sorry this happens to anyone ... I wish I would have read through the reviews on this before I made the decision to take my truck here ... I have no confidence in this shop Bummed !!! read more
