I sent photos of my Tacoma damage (front left side bumper) to this shop and was quoted around $4,000-$5,000 without even seeing the car in person. To be safe, I sent the exact same photos to a few other body shops, and their estimates came back much lower. One shop estimated around $1,800 for repair and repaint based on the same pictures. That's a huge difference and made the first quote feel very inflated. I strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before committing to repairs here. I am so happy that I found Aces Auto Body to do restoration work on my dad's 1997 Toyota Tacoma Truck, which has just under 150k miles on it. Eli, the owner, and Scott, who manages the shop, are outstanding to work with and highly professional. I sent detailed pics and was provided an estimate that was in our budget. The truck needed several large dents and scratches repaired and a total paint job. They use the highest quality of paint (RM) and guarantee their work. It took a few weeks or so to get the truck back into pristine condition, which was fine because I'd rather have it done right and they are meticulous about their work to the highest level of detail, which I appreciate. But Scott kept me informed through the entire process and showed progression pics each week. The tint job was done separately but the vendor did a phenomenal job as well. They even cleaned out the truck's headlights, which were dull and fogged over, and fixed additional smaller items that weren't originally included at no extra cost to us. I most certainly appreciate that as well. I highly recommend Aces Auto Body because they are pros and have been doing this for a long time, are reasonably priced and a pleasure to do business with. Requested a quote with around 10 shops in LA area, this was probably one of the more smaller ones. Quote for 2 hairline scratches about an inch wide was $2000 , about 90% higher than the competition. I got my Prius in 2010, brand new. Over the years, it's gotten a lot of dings and scratches, especially on the front and rear bumpers. I also had a large dent on the driver's side rocker panel. I've wanted to get these repaired for a while, but it wasn't until the clear coat started peeling on the hood and roof of my car did I decide on bringing it in to a Body shop. I looked into a few Auto Body shops on Yelp near me. Got estimates from a few. One guy at Eurotech Refinishing and Collision near Artesia asked me twice me how long I was planning to keep my car, and then proceeded to tell me all the cons of repainting the car and how it would cost thousands of dollars. He didn't give me an estimate at all. My wife recommended this place to me. I saw all the positive Yelp and google reviews and decided to give them a call. I talked to Scott over the phone who told me to bring the car over. Scott walked around the car, assessed the damages and we reviewed the things I wanted to get done. He gave me a reasonable estimate and I scheduled a day to bring the car in for repairs. While the car was in the shop, out of curiosity, I called them to ask about tinting the rear windows and rear windshield. I spoke with Eli and he said they'd be able to take care of it. Scott kept me updated on the status of my car while it was being repaired. I was able to pick it up a week and a half later. Eli and his team did a great job. Scott walked me through all the repairs including repainting the spoiler and a few other things he did to make the car look as good as new, including cleaning up the headlights. We decided to get a full paint job on our truck and while doing our research we came across Aces, read the reviews and stopped in for a consult. My bumper was banged up and hanging on with some improvised duct tape as an anchor, but Eli and Scott did some fine work replacing it and the mounting brackets so that it looked fresh off the lot! I came all the way from San Pedro and passed tons of auto body shops just so that I could get here. Their customer service is beyond reproach. I recently purchased a used vehicle and I found out that I had a crack in my wheel that was slowly letting out air in my back tire. I reached out to the dealership and other auto body shops and they just kept giving me the run around. I found Aces Auto Body by happenstance and I showed them a picture of my wheel and they said I should bring it in. I brought in my car on a Friday. Unlike the other shops I went to, they gave me options. They gave me several price points and options that ranged from out of pocket costs to insurance claims. I liked that they gave me options rather than telling me what I should do with my vehicle. After bringing it in, I was chose the option of getting my wheel repaired and they put my donut on for me. While I waited, I got to chat with the owners about business, life, and even saxophones! The human touch they have at this establishment made me feel valued as a customer rather than a number.
