When I say the lady from the front office came out and gave me an outrageous quote for more than $1000.oo a doing the most of what needed to be done. Dropped off my wife's vehicle to get a dent and scratch taken care of, as an insurance claim. Initial estimate was 24 hours. Then it became 1 week when I called to ask the status. A week after the drop off, I got a call that the dealer sent the wrong parts. Now the estimate is 2 weeks from when I dropped it off. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else. read more

When I say good value, I mean you get what you pay for. It AINT gonna be cheap, and it isn't going to look cheap. They aren't going to just "touch up" your paint, they are gonna sand that thing down and start over, blending it so the repair isn't noticeable. I went in to get some work done under my insurance coverage. The right side of my bumper had suffered a considerable amount of damage at my own fault. The adjuster I met was very courteous and professional however there were some individuals roaming around the lobby/waiting area that just stared at me whenever I was there and didn't greet me or respond to greeting. I dropped my car off and was told I'd be contacted with information and any new developments as they came and it all seemed fine at first. The facility is on the route I take to commute to work and for the first week they had my car it hadn't moved at all. I went in after getting a false call that my car was ready after confirming twice that it was ready. I'd turned my rental car in and everything. Upon arrival one of the estimators informed me that my car was not yet ready and proceeded to lie to my face about my car being "in the paint booth right now" because I could see it from the window of the lobby, either that or she was misinformed. Another week rolled by and I finally got my car back, however I wasn't able to retrieve it personally and inspect it myself as I work oddly placed shifts from time to time. The following morning I was met with a small amount of discomfort at the condition of my car. There was a large amount of overspray on my front passenger window that looked as if they'd attempted to scrape it off and gave up, my spare tire was removed from it's usual area in my hatch and just thrown in there with the surrounding foam supports torn from the floor and my engine bay was covered in what looked like residue from sanding. My hood gap is also now much larger than I remember and my wheels rub when I turn(I'm on stock suspension with no aftermarket camber adjustments). Overall the finishing touches just seemed rushed even after taking 2 weeks total to complete. All of that aside, the paint matching is flawless, the paint work is beautiful and I am pleased with everything else. I haven't the foggiest idea as to why my spare tire was even bothered with since all of the repair needed was at the front of my car. I would recommend this place if you needed paint work done or something like that. Their communication skills need some work, that's for sure. read more

I took our Dodge Ram in last September to have the ceramic coating done on it. In order to maintain the five year warranty on it we were told we would have to bring it in early September for the maintenance coating. I began calling at the beginning of the month to set this up. I was unable to get anyone on the phone. When I finally got someone to pick up I was told they couldn't find our info. They took my phone number and said someone would call me back the next day. This never happened. I called back today and was told I could bring the truck in Wednesday at 11am. He then told me if I couldn't bring it in on Wednesday we would lose our warranty because the shop would be closing because they are moving locations and would be closed for the next few weeks. By the time they open back up it would be past the September cut off for having it done therefore negating our warranty. How on earth is them moving locations and being closed my fault. I did everything in my power to get this done this month as instructed. This is absolutely horrible business practice. The man I spoke to laughed at me and was incredibly RUDE!!! I was very nervous about having body work done, because I am very particular and nit-picky, basically a perfectionist. I had some body damages on my truck, and was looking for a place to have him repaired. I searched around the internet since I am fairly new to the area, and found a couple places. Then one night I was driving down Denbeigh, and saw Bay Custom. A couple days later, I went in to get an estimate. The estimate was significantly less than I was expecting, so I made an appointment for the repair. When dropping off a couple weeks later, I added one minor thing I wanted done to the tail gate. Bay Custom did the work in the allotted time frame, but the actual cost was a little higher than the quote 1) because of the extra thing I asked them to do and 2) upon investigation, they had to remove the rest bumper to complete the job. That is fine, but still it was within my budget. When picking up, the job meets my expectations 100%...maybe even too good, because the repair and fresh paint is beautiful, and I need to now wax the entire truck. I am planning to do that in the spring anyway. Anyway, Bay Custom has earned my trust. They have a great staff and very professional facilities.
