The building we were in was for the Independent Living seniors and we got to view both a single and double occupancy room. Both rooms were quite large and very appealing. The shower was made for a senior so that you would not have to step over a large lip to enter it. Everything was very user friendly - besides being beautiful. The chef for the campus actually made the food for our party and it was over the top delicious. Everything about this place is wonderful and I would definitely recommend it for anyone in search of senior living. What a great atmosphere.

Staff is quite good especially nurses Emily, Stephanie, Erika and Jordin. Also aides Lisa and Kathy. Physical therapists Nancy and Martha were very encouraging when I was often weak and negative about going to PT. Alex was the best dietician and counseled me on nutrition to get stronger and healthier. Speaking of nutrition, the food was not good. Coffee was always cold. Eggs were cold and rubbery. The food was pre-made and not very nutritious or appetizing. I finally settled on oatmeal for breakfast. The only decent coffee was in the Bistro, but it was often closed due to staffing shortages. But the WORST was the blood draw system. They almost always drew my blood at 3am! And the phlebotomists poked me way too often until they could find a good vein. Being awakened at 3 am and then poked repeatedly doesn't help in recovery or health improvement. On at least 2 occasions they lost my blood samples and had to redo them!

I worked here from April to July 11th and they AT WILL TERMINATED me with false accusations. Adding on they gave me a week off they I never asked for as "punishment " before termination. And then when I couldn't drive my car due to it needing maintenance on it they officially had AT WILL terminated my employment with them trying to excuse all of what they've done. Yet I not one signed any firmed or write ups and only had good reviews from clients families that I cared for. Its truly heart aching that you can be at good terms with a company but the moment you become pregnant the company does everything to let you go , make themselves look at best and not care about what difficulties you may be facing although ironically they say they offer counseling for when caregivers are burnt out. But they have the right to tell caregivers when they are pissed off at them for attitude or miscommunication. I was promised 40hours when I got hired. Was given 35 And then at the end they gave me 8 a week that's if one of the 4 hours of the week was not cancelled abruptly by the client. I feel most employees or past employed people here with this company are too afraid to be honest and write a true review on how they in honestly treat their caregivers. I loved working I had clients they depended on seeing me but didn't understand why they couldn't see me again and then shortly after that I was terminated ‍. They say they don't discriminate but they 100% do if you are pregnant and weren't when first hired. Even after 90 days they didn't give me my sign on bonus. They're just a bit exaggerated on what they advertise for their company and promise to do for their caregivers. They're huge in protecting their reputation for the company but in EXTREME measures fail to meet the caregivers needs. and will turn on you. i even was told in may to apply to other jobs like assisted living with an approved release form due to them being in their words "slow on hours ". although when i was hired in april they promised and ensured that would never be the case with the company. . They even continued to harass me to come into the office when knowing my car was unable to drive. They're very incoherent try inspire home care before trusting visiting angels they are way more reliable and wont fail you plus it's weekly pay!!!! thank you !

I get a very genuine sense of compassion from everyone on staff, even dietary. They really make sure that they take the best care of my mother possible. I could tell that this was a great place when I noticed that all of the residents seemed infinitely happier here than they did even in the extremely expensive and fancy private pay place my mother had been in before.

We show up and my grandmother is always sitting in her own waste, a huge diaper as though it's been filling up for hours and hours. The elderly just sit around and hang their heads, complaining of how cold they are. There's no stimulation or games or learning. My grandmothers dementia rapidly deteriorated her as soon as we moved her in. The don't get her dressed most days, they skip showering her. They don't keep her hydrated and so we have to keep hospitalizing her. I've actually walked by and just seen 4 staff members at a time sitting around gossiping doing nothing. My grandmas belongings are ALWAYS disappearing, even after we write her name on everything. They take her treats, her birthday and Christmas gifts, they steal her pants. Anything new always disappears. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to her bathroom and had to wipe up scum and dirt they didn't bother to clean and her toothbrush is always gone. The food is bland and it's SO dry my grandma can't even swallow it and she's losing so much weight! It's saddens me that she is at Angelica's Place. I'm hoping the family moves her away. This place is really terrible. I would not recommend. And I wouldn't trust google reviews because most of those are written by the owners themselves. You put your loved one in a home because life responsibilities prevent you from giving the excellent care you want your older, loved relative to receive. You don't want to just stick them someplace to starve, be hospitalized and ignored until they die in a chair. And honestly, from the looks of her diaper, I wonder how long it would take their lazy staff to notice? :(

But when her memory began to fail my sisters and I were calling daily to remind her to take her meds three times a day. She started telling us she had taken them and had not. When Balanced Home Health Care took over our lives changed. First of all the ladies are amazing. My Mom loves each and every one of them and they love her. It was quite important that Mom got her meds in a timely fashion and her life changed too...for the better. She is much healthier now!! Also she was not taking her eye drops at night. So Mom gets a visit from these wonderful people up to four times a day. Recently we had to add a cream and they got her meds and applied as needed and things cleared up! We love all of them too! We know there are other services we can take advantage of as needed.
