She was careful to explain that she didn't want to override our vet's treatment for Lexie, and provided us with printed info on the new med that we could take back for a discussion with our SC vet. The entire staff was kind, friendly, and efficient. Altogether we spent an hour with the doc and our bill was surprisingly low. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and professional. They took great care of us and it was obvious that they care about animals.

Unfortunately, we needed to return at then end of the summer as our dog suddenly took a sharp turn towards the worse. Options were presented to us with grace, empathy and detail. Every person who came in contact with us at the clinic was caring for us and our dog. We needed to put our dog to rest and as everyone knows this is a difficult choice and of the utmost grief. However every step of the way, the empathy, professionalism and compassion of this staff was always present. it was as though they were part of our dogs family throughout her life, and they were going through the same grief and pain. Fifi LOVES MacGregor's Pet Pantry! She hadn't been there in 6 months, and when we drove up this…read moresummer, she leapt out of the car and strained at her leash to go in. Fifi is very clever. There are a lot of lovely pet stores near our house in Los Angeles, but none of them has the selection and range of MacGregor's. They have the best curated food assortment I've found anywhere from LA to NY, and the wonderful family staff is terrifically knowledgable about what they carry -- so if you tell them what your dog is eating, they can recommend something even better. (They don't carry California Natural, for example, which frankly Fifi hated, but they recommended Fromm's, which Fifi loves and is thriving on and is the same price.) They've also got a really nice selection of toys, more imaginative and adorable than anyplace else I've been. I bought Fifi a squeaky bottle of Cabernet. MacGregor's is my favorite, from coast to coast. It's worth a trek to see it, just for the selection.
