I found this place about a year ago after looking for a podiatrist who was in network & didn't have…read morea ridiculous waiting time to be seen. So glad I found them. Now my husband and daughter go there as well. Office staff is very friendly & helpful. The assistant at the front desk, Elise, goes above & beyond for their patients. seems to know everybody by name, too. I've walked in on more than one occasion to pay a bill without an appointment & she always knows exactly who I am & why am there. Another great example of service is the time my orthotics needed to be adjusted. The office sent them to a company to make the adjustments & they lost them! Elise sprang to action & contacted the company who made the original impressions, had them rush order a new pair, then arranged for a new company to make the adjustments & expedited them. AND, had them overnight them to the office once they were ready so I wouldn't have to wait any longer than necessary. To boot, the office didn't charge me for the new orthotics OR the adjustments due to the inconvenience & amount of time it took to get them back. Classy act. I can't speak for any of the other doctors in the practice, but Dr. Mallette is wonderful. He really listens to your concerns & genuinely makes an effort to resolve your issues. The waiting room is really tiny, but I haven't found it to be an issue as they do a good job of not overbooking. Office is very clean. The only issue I ever encounter is occasionally not being able to reach anybody when I call. Not that I'm complaining, because they do call you back quickly. Just mentioning it so people don't get discouraged if it happens to them. Definitely recommend you give them a try if you're in need!

Monday morning after thanksgiving I called Elliot hoping to get an appointment. I'm not sure if they heard the desperation in my voice or if that's how they run their practice, but they were able to get me in immediately. And I mean immediately! Like I called at 9something and they got me in for 10am! I got to my appointment with Julie with weakness and numbness in my right leg. I felt better right away and have been getting stronger everyday and have no pain! I had an emergency with my dog and had to cancel my appointment for yesterday. Emily (one of the girls from the front desk I think) called me today to check on me and my dog! After one of the worst days of my life yesterday, it was so nice to hear from Emily. It made me feel like they actually care about their patients unlike a lot of other medical offices I've been. Thank you Elliot!!

Hip Still Not Right - Need a Hip Replacement Revision…read more I had an anterior hip replacement with Dr. Andrew Porter. I am 56 years old and average weight. I had arthritis in my hip joints, thanks to genetics, and needed my hip replaced. Surgery with Dr. Porter went as planned, so I thought... Shortly after surgery, I noticed something was off. I had had my other hip replaced 7 years ago, so I was familiar with the recovery process. Unfortunately, my hip was painfully popping out of the socket and back in. I kept going to Dr. Porter telling him something wasn't right. Dr. Porter said I needed to continue with physical therapy, which I did. It is still no better after 5 months of therapy, and my range of motion is very limited. Dr. Porter told me a revision would also limit my range of motion and be more invasive than the first surgery. He basically tried to talk me out of fixing my hip. I can't live like this. I can't even walk properly. Needless to say. I never went back. Do not let the pain rush you into surgery. I should have waited for a more experienced surgeon.
