Today was my first time here. I came during my lunch break and ordered the pacific beach bowl at 12:10pm. It was now 12:45 and DOMINICK called out "pacific beach" and hands it over to another customer who came and ordered after me. My friend who ordered after me as well was given her Açaí you later bowl. I asked the woman who took the pacific beach if she's sure that was hers because my friend and I had ordered at the same time and we've been there 45 min. I was just trying to rectify with the other customer. I also asked DOMINICK if that bowl was mine and he completely flipped out. DOMINICK said "how was he suppose to know" "I just make the bowls, you should be paying attention" he was SO RUDE. I was completely taken aback and surprised at how much he could careless to even help the situation. I replied by saying "I think it's crazy that you see nothing wrong with you handing out the bowls without knowing who they belong to" and he replied "I think it's crazy that you're the only person who cares" How sad for Baya Bar to have an employee such as DOMINICK give them a bad reputation. This was my first experience here and I would never come back. I really hope management reads this and talks to DOMINICK about his careless, inappropriate comments, and horrible service that he gave today. Not to mention the scene he created. Instead of deescalting the situation he proceeded to make rude comments. Very unprofessional and not someone that should be working at this type of business. And to top it off I couldn't even eat my bowl because my lunch break was over. It took 35 min to get my order. I called to ask for his name and mentioned to DOMINICK how rude he was and he said I could call and speak to management about it.-disgusting/privileged. -He could careless!!! read more

I've been coming here for three years and never had a problem, unlike some of these reviewers who seem overly critical and maybe just hangry. The workers are young kids trying to make it through college, so give them a break. From my experience, they're not rude, and mistakes like forgetting an extra berry are minor and understandable. Some of these reviewers seem like they need a shot of tequila more than a healthy drink. My favorite smoothie is the Billy BK. Yummy read more

I am very upset about the friends and family discount being discontinued. I think this is a travesty. Baya bar used to be a well run establishment that made me feel welcomed. I would love coming to give my friends/family that worked here business. I will no longer be doing that. read more

YUM! I'm sure other menu items are just as delicious but I like to stick with my go to when I come here. Which is the muscle smoothie and toasts both avocado and peanut butter banana. It's quick and friendly service. There is plenty of seating with games on the tables. Location is convenient with a parking lot! read more

It was my first visit ever to a Baya Bar, the worker told me they had a special, buy 1 get 1 free. I ordered a kale smoothie and a bowl. While the bowl was being made, the smoothie was offered to me while I waited. It was very good. The bowl was great as well. I will definitely go back. read more

I love going to Baya Bar! The staff is very friendly, the açai and Pitaya bowls are amazing and it's just a friendly, nice place to go!

I ordered from here before (Uber) and it was not bad at all, shockingly when I tried it again I was sooooo disappointed. Ordered the açaí bowl and it was definitely not my best. The serving was so small and it seems like the fruits were frozen.to the point where I had to let it sit for awhile. Maybe it works for others but the frozen fruit was not to my liking at all .
