I was lured to Deja Brew after attending a previous Yelp Elite event in January, 2025. I did not return immediately because of the lack of food options. Now, months later I return as a paying patron for Monday lunch after running a personal errand in Queens, NYC. Management did obliged and fulfilled to heed the hope and desiderium within my mind of expanding their food options in their menu. Beer battered fried fish sandwich $22.95 Guinness beer battered fresh cod, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, spicey house pickles, homemade tartar sauce on butter toasted bun with side salad. Yes, the item description is exactly as is and I was able to eat my fill. I despised shredded lettuce, but have a predilection for whole lettuce placement for burgers. This entree is a sandwich, not a salad. The male server/waiter inquired to offer ketchup which I was utterly befuddled. Ketchup on fish?? Ehh and then oh! I did requested more tartar sauce for my fish. The cod fish was tasty as I honestly did not tasty any Guinness beer batter. These pickles and onions made the fish pleasurable. The side salad was very abundant (not minimal as other cafes) which quantity was not compromised as neither quality. The salad was refreshing as the dressing was sufficient. Customer service is attentive and welcomingly friendly. Unlike past experience of restaurant dinning alone, at Deja Brew I did not have to wait an eternity to place my order or wait to be acknowledge standing at the register ready to place my order. I did receive my sales receipt. Oh, I inadvertently and completely forgot to leave a gratuity! Four stars as I had to wait for my food that slowly to arrive at my table. It was not busy nor was a full house of patrons. This cafe is a very relaxed atmosphere where patrons can slowly linger for table hibernation with a purchase (pending off-peak times where table is in need). This cafe is good for first dates where couples can learn of each others' respective intent and general interests for compatibility to continue further as Deja Brew is not exactly a restaurant for a full scale dinner. I would surely return for the chicken and waffles with either Jasmine green tea, peppermint tea, Chamomile tea or red Sangria for alcohol. Business cards are printed in gold foil stamping and available for grabs. WiFi is available and is free with password access. There is absolutely NO internet access without WiFi connection at this business upon entering. There is a outdoor backyard dinning patio (weather permitting), but I have a high degree of certainty for indoor dining in an air conditioning environment. Facilities are relatively clean and modern with the Japanese dual flush toilet buttons. This business is accessible via MTA NYC Transit J and Z trains at 104th Street subway station located between 102nd and 103th Streets in Richmond Hill, Queens, NYC.

This place is a whole vibe. The surrounding area needs to catch up! It has a classy look and feel. The staff are young and friendly. The menu has some really good options. I only came for a latte. I wound up getting a mango cream Matcha latte. It was delicious. If you're in the area, definitely the place to be.

White Sangria was so good.... Yummmm

"This Yelp event, 'Badges and Brews,' was unlike any other I've attended! It was incredibly personal, intimate, and truly special. The space itself was beautiful. The bathroom was clean, which is always a good sign of a clean kitchen in my book. The Chef did an amazing job with the appetizers, and the servers were efficient in bringing out the food. The drink selection was fantastic, featuring a great variety of beers, wines, red and white sangria (with fresh fruit garnishes!), Bellinis, Espresso, Teas, and Coffee. Samantha, you're starting the year off strong! If we can have such an amazing time in this beautiful oasis, we can have an amazing time anywhere. Thank you to the 2025 ELITE SQUAD YELPERS who attended. Your dedication to our craft truly shows, and I can't wait to read your perspectives on the event. Happy New Year! See you at the next one."

Found this restaurant on Tik Tok, very intimate and cozy. The ambiance is super cute, very modern take on a cafe. The food is decent, staff greeted us as we walked in super welcoming. I feel I need to take another trip to give the other menu items a try.

Ambience and atmosphere so relaxing. Between the jazz music and Art work. Just soothing. Service is kind and service with a smile. Clean and parking. Love it.

Very modern cafe. It's something needed in the neighborhood to suit the generation. It's a nice place to grab a coffee and sit and chat or get some work done. We came for brunch had the coconut bliss late which was good a-little bit on the sweeter side but tasty and a cold brew with almond milk. Overall drinks are delicious and I will be back to try more. The food is something to appreciate since it's fresh to order but nothing really stood out as a must get or it never left me feeling like I want to come back and try another bite to eat. We had the chicken taquitos and the chicken and waffles and the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. The staff is very polite and fun. Overall a nice spot to just chill and grab a nice beverage. Drinks 9/10 Food 5/10 Ambience- 10/10

Brunch was tasty, a bit more of the home fries (was not salty but just right) and a pleasant server. Music was upbeat. Ambiance was nice and clean . Will go back for dinner.

I went for my birthday, and it was truly such an amazing place ! They had a slower bar event happening and I was able to get some beautiful flowers, the food was amazing ! And the iced apple crisp matcha is to die for ! I've been dreaming of it ! The ambiance and customer service is 10/10 definitely a must try ! My sister, brother in law and I ordered a bunch of food and shared it ! And it was all delicious

This was a pretty cool place to find and eat brunch , parking was a extreme head ache, we was greeted as soon as we walked in and got to pick our seat. The music was dope and the food we ate was good as well. Was only missing jelly for the toast tho. Ill be back to try more

What a beautiful coffee shop and restaurant. We have been eager to check out this place but it really exceeded our expectations. The service is phenomenal. We met one of the owners who is so kind and welcoming. She was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The cold brew and iced chai were delicious. So were the baked goods. HIGHLY recommend the cheddar scallion biscuit. I can't wait to come back.

We came in for a quick Saturday morning outing. The place inside is beautiful and the woman owner was here and was very friendly and serviceable. We got iced teas and they were both very good. Try the nutty and the chai! We also had the cheddar and scallion biscuit and the banana chocolate chip muffin. Ask for them to be warmed up if you are going to stay and eat. It's a fancy place so prices match with the vibes. Cool spot tho glad to see new businesses in the area.

Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

The inside looked really nice with some nice pictures on the wall and lots of space for seating. They also have a downstairs that has a bar and plenty of seating. It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.

I can add mustard to every bite instead of all over the sandwich. My son and I split a pastrami and the beef brisket together to be able to sample at least two types of meats. My wife ordered the half corned beef sandwich with a bowl of French onion soup, so we got to sample a bite of each of those as well.
