Don't remember full details. Know Baydo its a Chevy dealership but bought a 2007 Mustang from them back in 2010. But had to go there some days or a week after I bought it for something don't remember on what, then they asked me on how I like etc...I told them its way to early to judge that yet after a few days or 1 week owning it, but ask me this ? in 3 to 5 to 10 to 15 years later. Its now 13 years later I still own it and have 194,000 miles on that car. But do know a dealership or sales person cannot determine how good or bad that car or truck will be. But know many sales people and dealerships will lie about it if they do really know. IDK or don't have no clue about Baydo now days but back then to me they were very much on the level. In past when bought cars or trucks before that I dealt with some real slime bags car sales people and Baydo was not that way to me. I moved out of Wa since I bought the Mustang from them, but if I was still a resident of Wa state I probably go back and maybe buy another car or truck from them. read more

Salesman was honest, and not throwing me a bunch of bullshit like some were at other lots. They gave me 800 bucks to install a GPS / Backup Camera just because I said I wanted one to my wife. These are all great, but, the real reason why this place will always get my business is the exchange policy that they extended to me. I ended up finding the exact vehicle I was looking for at this lot. Problem was, is that when I had already driven it home, I realized that it was not a 4x4 version of the Tahoe. I had read somewhere incorrectly in a forum online that all LT versions on the Tahoe were 4x4, and this assumption led me to overlook that aspect during the test drive. When it finally dawned on me that there were no controls on the dash and I took a look under the front axle, I promptly looked online for information regarding grace periods or nullifying auto loans. Everything online pointed to "too bad, buddy" and I felt devastated. Next thing I did was visit their website, and saw that they advertise a 48hr exchange policy on all vehicles and it was at that point that I realized I should go buy a lotto ticket. Anyway, I went back to the lot and explained to them the situation, expecting them to be someone hesitant or annoyed or less helpful. It couldn't have been more the opposite. They totally understood my situation, and even tried to share the blame with me (when it was most certainly my fault). It gets better even. I test drove around 5 other vehicles, none of which I was completely happy with. After talking it over with my wife, I decided I didn't want to settle on something else that wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I returned to the salesman to tell him that I would like to either return them the vehicle now (within the 48 hours) and wait for an acceptable exchange to become available, or if that wasn't an option, I would keep the current vehicle and just eat my mistake. He told me this: "Why don't you just keep the vehicle you have now, and I'm pretty sure we can find what you are looking for in a few weeks. Don't worry, this won't cost you anything". I could not be any more pleased with this buying experience. Baydo has gone waaaaaaay beyond my expectations. I would give them 6 stars if I could. The only thing I can do to repay them is spread the word. They can be sure that they will have my business for as long as they are in it. read more

I am happy to report a very positive buying experience from Baydo Chevrolet in McKenna, WA. I saw that Chevrolet was coming out with an all new, completely redesigned 2015 Suburban. I shopped around and was looking for the lowest tax rates in the state. I contacted the dealer with the vehicle I wanted. They were happy to show me the invoice and we reached a fair deal on the vehicle. I was very pleased that Baydo did not try to shaft me with the excuse that this was a "brand new redesign" and somehow worth thousands more than list price (as 2 other dealers told me). The only dealer that would match their price was in Idaho, (and I wasn't looking forward to flying there to pick it up and drive it back!) I ordered the vehicle (with no money down!) and they kept me informed on a weekly basis on the order status; (Chevrolet limited orders on initial release so that all dealers would have a fair shot. Also, the heavy duty tow package was not initially available for pre-order). After a 2-month wait for the build, the vehicle came in yesterday. I picked it up today. There were no pricing discrepancies, confusion, hard sell, or anything similar. I dealt with Justin and Walt, the owner. They were great - friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The truck is great, and it is the only one I've seen on the road. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them anytime. This was the 6th new vehicle I've purchased and it was a breeze. Fairly quick service, but not overly impressed. Asked about a faulty component and they tried to tell me it was an aftermarket item that I installed on my truck since I bought it new 7 years ago...I merely wanted to price the parts to buy, and they tried to convince me that it was something else in other words.. not too sure about that... While waiting in the nice waiting area, heard the usual hustle and bustle of salesmen talking to prospective buyers, and overall they were pretty straightforward, but to the trained ear, more than once I heard them using their trained "sales techniques"in order to get the sales. Not planning on buying a car at all in the next 3 years, so no sweat off my shoulders, but if I were to change my mind, I think I would also look at the other Chevy dealerships too... read more

We came from Portland to purchase a hard to find truck. They met with us half an hour before closing and stayed late. Very straight forward without the hassle negotiations. They gave us a very fair price on our trade in and the new vehicle. Prestong was our sales rep and Ryan did the financing. Ryan only ran us with one lender so our credit didn't get slammed with inquiries. They even called back to LOWER our interest rate .75%! I wish we had such great, honest and fast sales reps in PDX. With the drive! I have a bit of a car buying habit so I can compare to at least 8 transactions and this was by far at the top of customer care and deals. read more

I purchased a car from Baydo earlier this year. I worked with Julian at the Parkland location. Baydo this setup to lure soldiers new at Ft. Lewis into buying cars from them. They offer an incentive (150-300$) per referral for soldiers. Julian, the manager whom I've been told no longer works there, promised me one of these incentives when I purchased my truck. I wouldnt have made this purchase without this incentive. Julian and I agreed that once I received my once incentive check I would bring him the CASH down payment for my truck. He said I need to fill out a credit card authorization form just so he could show his "boss" and that it wouldn't be used. I stressed to Julian the fact that I needed my card to NOT be charged, especially without me knowing. He agreed. Fast forward to September. I get a charge from Baydo for 300$. I call them to explain the situation. The lady I spoke with relayed to me that whatever agreement I had with Julian was invalid and that "verbal agreements don't ever hold up in court." I tell her I can understand the confusion. She tells me that there is still a remaining balance but my account is CURRENT with Baydo at this time. She goes on to ask when I can make another payment for what she believe is a remaining 500$ balance. I, again, tell her about the agreement I had with Julian. I made it VERY clear at this point that the 300 charge made my account negative and that I would be able to make another payment until at least Oct 1st. She told me she understands and we can make an arrangement. She tells me that she needs to talk to her manager and will call me back shortly. This never happens. Two weeks later, after no contact has been made, Baydo charges me 500$ without any prior notice. Tom the salesman listened to what I wanted and never tried to steer me in a direction I didn't want. He listened to the strict budget that I had to stay within. We are in the process of looking for a used Chevy 3/4 ton, 4x4, long bed. Pulled into Baydo's in McKenna on 5-27-13. Walked around inside looking for a salesperson. There was one on the phone but he was too busy to even look at us. Finally found one, and were told we had to fill out a loan application to test drive a truck! We were a bit dumbfounded but the salesperson said that's what his boss required. We are clean, average looking, late 50's people, so I'm sure it wasn't appearances that warranted this requirement. A drivers license and a credit card wouldn't do. We resisted the urge to tell the salesman that we have enough cash to buy a brand new 4x4, if we wished to do so! My brother took me here just to look at an SUV I had my eye set on, even test drove it but I found out it wasn't for me. I wasn't even sure yet just what I was looking for and I wasn't hustled or pressured to get a car from the salesmen we had. I was in shocked usually the salesmen would be calling and saying hey are you still interested in this vehicle but heck I never got a call. Awesome! I went on to other Auto car sales places, heck I've received the worst experience ever. I ended coming back to Baydo Chevrolet a week after all the exhausting car hunting this time I got to test drive this mini SUV I had my eye on and again I didn't get pressured to buy it awesome experience ever and then I was sold on this vehicle it had everything I wanted at a great price. I'd love to give this place more than a 5 star rating. We went into Baydo's and test drove a 2008 GMC Acadia. My fiancé was really sold on the lifetime warranty on the cars and we had a great experience with our sales person, Sean, so a few days later I decided to apply online for a pre-qualification. That was on a Sunday. Monday morning, I received an email confirming they received my application, so I called the sales manager and told him that the weekend prior we had test drove the Acadia, and were working with Sean at that time; and we were also interested in one of three Acadias on the lot. He told me that they were working on my application, and he would get right back with me. Within about twenty minutes, Sean had called me back, asking for Debra (NOT my name)! Then asked me if I was going to trade in my current loan (using the name of the bank that holds my loan) - so he MUST have my information in front of him, and STILL called me by the wrong name. When I gave him my story (again) - We test drove, and are now interested, and if needed, I have a co-signer (not the best credit) - he gathered the necessary information on my SUV I wanted to trade in, and stated he would call me in a little bit. That was the last time I heard from Sean. I heard from no one the rest of Monday, and on Tuesday afternoon I called and left a message for Sean to call me. Nothing. On Wednesday I called - again, leaving a message for the sales manager (Sean was off) to return my call. Nothing. A couple hours later, I called and got ahold of the store manager. He researched my application, and got back to me within thirty minutes. That same Wednesday, my fiancé applied for a prequalification with a trade in (his car is paid off, and he has way better credit). TO THIS DAY (Sunday, 10/26), he has heard NOTHING from Baydo's one way or the other!! If someone does decide to call us, it is too little, too late. We will not be buying a vehicle from them. Honestly when I first got my car i was really happy until I started to realize how much I got screwed over they lie about their 26 point inspection or whatever it's called I bought my 2008 scion tc from them 2 years ago I was just turning 20 at the time they helped me get a loan without a consigner and I rushed into things but first I never got my military discount they say they say they give when I told them I'm national guard and had to prove it and second after buying my car for excellent condition pricing I started noticing little damages that where actually in the car and there where little scuff marks on the front bumper and headlights I kinda just ignored it yeah it's a little damage I can fix by changing my bumper cover wrong the front support was push into my condenser warping the condenser and radiator around it noticed the condensor is leaking ester oil you can tell by the green dye that is put in the oil for ac leak detection ok I can fix that myself I'm ac certified easy fix and I the support is an easy fix also they just cost me a few hundred ha thanks for that and then this brings me to the big job I noticed the left back quarter panel is weird looking compared to the other side come to find out that it's been bent in and just cover up fixed that a 1000 dollar long labor job idk how to do myself when I brought this up to baydos they ask me to come in and we will talk about switching cars so I come in found a scion that's same price just a 2007 instead cool I checked this one out way better took it for a test drive and when it came down to the paperwork the guy tells me well idk how much we will give you for your scion with all those damages and that's the last I have heard from them well that's my experience I hope you go somewhere else with better service I recommend going to the Toyota dealership near the capital mall really great service there read more

First of all 5* rating isn't even high enough to rate my experience with Baydo today. We were in the market for a truck and after much research on the internet - Baydo had the best prices for a 3/4 ton truck that fit our needs. I spoke with Justin Hurst (Internet Sales Manager) several times on the phone and he was always very prompt at returning calls or answering emails. Living just over an hour away from the dealership I wanted to make sure it was worth the drive. Was it worth the drive? YES! The whole experience from start to finish was flawless and the customer service I received was amazing ( I have been in customer service most of my life so when I am impressed with this level of service I like to acknowledge it). Anyway if you are even hesitant about making a trip out to see them, don't be. I drove off the lot with a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - could not be happier! Buying a jeep from Baydo has to be the single worst car buying experience of our lives. We found a lifted jeep wrangler and purchased it. When we got it in to drive it off the lot the check engine light was on, we drove right back onto the lot and they told us they had run it out of gas, it should go off. We put gas in it and went back when the light stayed on and the jeep made odd noises, they said to give it a day or so. Two days later they towed it back to the lot. We tried to claim on the 72 hour gauruntee, but were told our trade in was already gone. The jeep was in the shop...their shop...for the first two months...seriously...I was in a loaner for two months. I made two payments on the car before it stayed in my possession. They sold us a warranty (on a lifted jeep) that does not cover any vehicle with an after market lift. We have tried 4 times to cancel the gap protection and warranty so we could trade in the jeep (that still has transmission issues) and get into a reliable car and can not get them to take it off. I really, really reccomend buying your used car from someone else. Update September 2014 ~After the horrendous experience of buying from Baydo subsides, you will be glad to know the fun continues. April of this year we started trying to buy a house and pulled our credit report. On it was an $800.00 collection item from the city of Tacoma. When we called we were informed that we had received a parking ticket for parking in a handicap space.........a week after we had traded our car in. Baydo allowed an employee to drive our trade in, uninsured, and still in our name. We contacted Baydo to try and get it straightened out and they were no help at all. We ended up having to go thru the court system to have it removed from our credit history. read more

This review is for Northwest Chevrolet (formerly baydo). My car I bought as a certified pre owned in Feb started running rough and making weird noises. I brought it in 4 days ago and they drove the car and heard the noise. They then took the car into the shop and I waited for two hours. They came back and told me it was most likely the timing chain which is covered under power train warranty. They said to know for 100% certain they would have to do a tear down of the motor which is a 7 hour job and they could not get my car in the shop till next week at which time they would provide me with a rental car. Well I have had a vacation planned for a year and was scheduled to leave today. They told me that I could drive the car on my road trip without concern. Well in just 2 days the car got notably worse and the check engine light came on. Not being comfortable taking my kids on a road trip in this car I brought it back after they did not return my phone call. I was hoping that with it now being much worse and unsafe they would get me a rental car and start working on my car. I was now told that the car was never "diagnosed" and that it will take too long to diagnose and that I could just leave my car there while I am gone. They were unwilling to get me a rental car. I was told that now since the check engine light is on that it everything is different and that they need to restart the whole process. He also said he was out of loaner cars. After much to do he finally agreed to a rental but said Enterprise is closed at 5pm and it was now 5:15 so he couldn't. A simple check of their hours on my phone proved he made that up (they close at 6pm). He then said that that isn't enough time to get one. I asked if he could call and arrange for one in the morning and he told me I don't know "how things work". The guy changed his opinion on what the issue was to a camshaft position sensor. He was unwilling to accept the fact that he was wrong about the car being okay to take on a road trip and kept saying that was before things got worse. He was also now saying he could not approve a rental until the car was officially "diagnosed" which could take days. I didn't have days and he was unwilling to help. He actually told me to call a different dealership to see if they could help me because he didn't want to deal with it (Titus Will of Parkland). I asked if he could make some sort of exception on their rental car policy that the car needs to be diagnosed because they DID look at my car and told me it was Okay and to drive and it they were wrong. He told me if he did that for everyone their bill would be "$20,000 a week". The whole time I was there he was caught lying several times and was smirking as though it was funny that he was ruining my vacation and pretty much said too bad. I asked for the owners name and contact info as I was already being treated like garbage by the manager. He did not provide me with this info. I asked for the paperwork that I signed 4 days ago and he now told me that there wasn't any. This was a lie as I did sign the service paperwork that day. Calling Titus will they told me that they should be easily able to get me a rental car and told me if I bring it to them in the morning they'd take care of me. I had to push my vacation back a day and lose a nights reservation and a day of vacation due to northwest pulling my chain around and not doing anything to help. Titus Will put me in a rental within 1hr of being there. I'll never be going back to northwest. And never recommending them to anyone. read more

I bought a van from the Baydo dealer in McKenna Washington. Our experience was hurried and very uncomfortable. I told them $6000 out the door. They assured me they would make me a deal. We test drove again I asked don't waste our time $6000 out the door. When we got back they offered me $8000 and payments!!! I walked out. Then a salesman (I will call him FAST EDDY) assured me $6000 and 90 day warranty. Well they talked us into it. I found out later they had it marked for $13000, wanted to sell for $8000 we got it for $6000 Kelly blue book is $3700. What a rip off. I will tell everyone I know NOT to buy from Baydo. We have been having overheating issues. They said they would fix it or replace it if it was major problem. We brought the van in and they assured us that they would repair the van. We picked it up the next day and still overheating. Evidently the van just got to spend the night and Baydo LIED to us AGAIN! We brought it back "oh yeah we flushed the radiator" I have not seem so much slimy gunk inside a radiator before. They lied to us again. So the van stays unrepaired agian i am soooooo disappointed , but I should have known better my fault for being so stupid as to trust a Fast Eddy at this Baydo dealer. My fault for not checking the Kelly blue book. Baydos fault for taking advantage of two women!!!! To get the van repaired CORRECTLY or replaced. I cannot believe that Baydo would take advantage of two women. All I was trying to do was get a reliable van for my daughter and grandchildren. What a rip off. I bought a vehicle from these guys in January 2014. Since then it's been in various shops for 4 months, needed over $8900 in warranty work and I've spent over $3800, out of pocket. Just got it back from them and it's still broken. This truck sucks, their warranty sucks, the mechanics suck and the salesman who sold it to me sucks. It should be Baydo's vacuum cleaner and escort service because it's one gigantic black hole of suck. read more

As a postscript to my original review, I must admit my good first impressions have now evaporated about Brad Broughton and Baydo Chev. Why? We waited WAY TOO LONG to receive the license plates/registration to that truck. Each and every time we called they assured us they would have them, but didn't, would be getting them soon, but didn't, would call us as soon as they knew, but didn't. We kept calling them in what was always a one-way effort. After inquring as to whether they could have been sent to the wrong address and being assured they were not, we specifically told the co. twice that one address not be involved. While they were mailed to our correct address finally, sure enough the title had the wrong address on it. This was originally the salesman's jurisdiction. He let others take the heat and stayed out of it. Everyone there made us numerous promises but Brad never once phoned us back directly as agreed. The temporary license expired and we could no longer drive the truck. They wanted US to GO THERE for a renewed temporary license. Luckily one lady agreed to deliver it to my wife at a parking lot in Lakewood. I really wished Baydo had hand delivered the plates to us at home after this 11 week fiasco. Sigh. read more

i delt with the service department only. but my father in laws truck had some transmission issues, we had to take it here as they were the only who had the special tool for his transmission. we dropped it off on the 29th, so they had it first thing that next morning. that afternoon we get a call saying the truck needed a part replaced and it wouldbe wensday when it came in, my father in law told them he would wait till friday to get the truck since new years was the nexy day. friday came amd the parts just got in and it will be monday the 5th, before the parts are on it. today we call amd they were unable to get two parts on the truck and test it before closing time. apparently 5 hours is not long enough to put on a water pump. tomorrow we hope to get the truck back, but wont be suprised if tthey tell ua the problem is not,fixed. they replace a part that wasnt causing the issue, instead of finding out if another part was needed to fix said issue then,repair the water pump we lost time. my in law was to be back at work this week and has to call in everyday to prevent loss of his job. thankx to baydo, if he is delayed anymore he will loose his only job and his source of income on top of having a larhe repair bill. we will never take another car here,to get fixed or looked at. read more

A friend of mine went to Baydo's a couple of days ago and spoke with a sales rep about a truck they had for sale. The salesman was very nice and helpful in the beginning. My friend had to take some time to think about it. Since then the salesman has hounded him constantly. My friend told him repeatedly that he was comparing other trucks and prices and options and just wanted a little bit of time. Well then yesterday afternoon he gets yet another phone call from the salesman and the salesman asked him "Are you going to buy this truck or not". My friends response was "If this is how you talk and treat customers and hound them, then no". The salesman's response then was " Well I bought all the trucks with in a 500 mile radius that fit what you are looking for, so you can't buy them from any place other than from me". So my friend tells him I look 600 miles out then deal with you. This is not the only time I have had a friend have a bad experience with Baydo. Pretty sad that this is how the salesman at this company work. The pressure you and pressure you to buy from them, and when your not sure they reduce to insulting you and making you feel like you can't go anywhere else. I wanted to get a car from them but after this, no thanks!!!! read more
