My concern wasn't the issue itself, it was the initial response. When I first contacted your office, I was essentially told, "It shows as posted on our end, so we don't know what to tell you." I would have appreciated hearing that the issue would be investigated right away, especially since enough time had already passed. Also, when a customer provides feedback, the appropriate response is to thank them, acknowledge their concerns, and let them know you'll take the feedback into consideration, rather than continuing to defend how the situation was handled. It's not professional and it's not a good look.

Knowing but not taking early and appropriate action is GROSS NEGLIGENCE. A forensic insurance investigator has been on the property. The roof is the cause of the damage per 3 professionals. Our board thinks raising our HOA raising our dues is the solution. My dues will be 132% higher than when I bought! These increases have happened/ been proposed in just the last 3 years! Run from this property management company and ELECT an HOA board that is astute, honest and doesn't serve on the board just to service their income property and act as slumlords!

The cleaning service she uses is horrible, and her fee is extremely high, considering the amount of work she actually does. Perhaps we weren't "important" enough for her to actually do the job we were paying her to do, or maybe she just didn't like us; either way, this is a company I would avoid at all costs. We finally ended our relationship with her after my husband discovered that our town home wasn't actually listed anywhere on her website, yet she was still charging us a $50 per month fee to simply do that. She did refund the money, but only after we complained about it (and giving the excuse that she needed "more info", which is bull. She had been responsible for our rental for years and we have proof that the last email sent to her explicitly instructed her to put it up for rent with the information she already had). In today's world a property manager is almost as obsolete as a travel agent, especially one who does nothing but take your money and act rude and unprofessional. She was only consistent with one thing; making us feel like we were putting her out every time we asked her to do anything regarding our rental. If I could give zero stars, I would have. I'm a business owner too, and there's absolutely no way I could stay in business if I treated my customers as badly as Durango Property Management.
