My husband and I had our own bedroom while the kids had theres so we were all able to have our own time. The beach is just a few steps away and the view is breathtaking. We loved the view and the furniture on the balcony. So much that we are looking where to buy some for our house. It was so awesome to sit there each morning and be in the shade and watching all the people roasting in the sun down at the beach. Of course if you love roasting at the beach, it's just steps there! We didn't use the pools but they were nice looking. We did use the fitness center and we enjoyed it. The bed in the unit was SO comfortable, and we loved it that we are looking to buy the same mattress at our house . We slept like babies, as it's quiet and they have a fan and room darkening curtains. It is newly furnished and very nice. Each room has a RV with streaming options. I also noticed a pull out sofa but we didn't use it. The dining room has a kitchen table and a bar area. The kitchen has bare minimum so don't except to do some major meals there. But we did get a craving for a later snack after an early dinner and went to the local Publix and got some frozen pizza and salad and there was a pizza sheet and pizza cutter so it was sufficient for us. Plenty of plates and bowls and silverware and basic cookware. It was fine for us but if you're going to cook a lot of meals then bring stuff. There is a toaster and percolating coffee maker. There is automatic ice in the freezer. There is no dish soap so bring some. Bring extra TP and paper towels. They provide a couple dishwasher tabs. It is pretty basic like a nicer hotel room and having the extra half bath so if you're looking for a condo that has a lot of stuff then this isn't it. Like I said, it was perfect for us two and we really enjoyed it and would definitely rent here again in the future if it was available. The condo is in a great area. It's very quiet but if you want to go where there's more stuff then Orange Beach and Pensacola aren't very far. Also if you go eat, don't go to the Jellyfish Restaurant - it was terrible terrible. But definitely go to the Perdido Key Breakfast Club and get the Perdido Burrito. You'll thank me later. That was our favorite place. Also go to orange beach and go to Luna's and Cosmos because they are fire. Thank you for a lovely stay. The management company was FANTASTIC!! They kept us informed and instantly responded to questions we had. Also there were some activities discounted or free with them and we did the dolphin cruise with their discount.

I was searching for where to stay in Downtown Pensacola, Florida and research led me to the New…read moreWorld Inn which is a historic boutique hotel. The New World Inn has a fantastic location near most things in the Downtown area which has a lot of great spaces and places. The New World Inn was originally built as a box factory. The building was restored and remodeled in 1983 to include banquet and events spaces along with 16 hotel rooms with 8 rooms on the ground floor and 8 rooms on the second level. Due to the history of the building there is only a staircase and no elevator has been added to this property. Renovations to the property continued in 2007 with the addition of the 600 South Italian Eatery & Wine Bar which is currently listed as temporarily closed . In 2008 the New Orleans inspired courtyard was updated to a more functional space for outdoor dining and celebrations. In 2016 Skopelos restaurant was added to the location but sadly that restaurant closed in 2021 after 62 years due to damage from Hurricane Sally and the Pandemic. Only thing wrong was we had a screen room up that simply didn't attach to the awning. It's freestanding which didn't meet their rules for some reason. It was set up and tied down appropriately. We had it to keep the baby out of the sun. Keep in mind it had been up all day without question. They drove but multiple times. Then she requested we move guest vehicles. That's very reasonable. Then barely described where to park them and said oh don't worry about it. They're literally here for dinner only. She only introduced herself when I asked her name and who she was. Apparently, she told some guy we got in her face. I have plenty of witnesses that can say that wasn't true. So he comes over to start more issues. He didn't want to give his name or any information. Finally said he was one of the 3 part owners but refused to give info. Needless to say, awesome park and land but totally not worth dealing with this drama. We have been camping many places and never had anything like this happen. Start a conversation professional and things will go better for us all. Thanks for ruining our trip when we would have been happy to accommodate. I refuse to stay here again. Beware.

It rained just before the starting time so it was cancelled. The manager Jinks came around later and brought t-shirts for my kids as a way of saying sorry. Totally unnecessary because we understood but a great gesture and very well received. There was a food truck one day that was there for quite a while and had very good food. We had pizza delivered to the camper and also had amazon items sent to the office. It was very nice. The only negative I can come up with is the fact that if you cannot make your reservation for whatever reason, they are not going to refund you. They will only give you a voucher to be used in the next 365 days. I am not crazy about that. They should be a little more understanding about that. Great location, like 4 grocery stores within 2 miles. Close between Pensacola and Ft. Walton/Destin. We will stay there again, I just my delay my reservation until I am positive I will make it to the area.

As we're traveling through the Mojave desert, we experienced not one but two blowouts doing extensive damage to our fifth wheel trailer. We had to cancel our trip and return home and put our trailer in the repair shop for well over a month. As we were calling the 15 RV sites that we had secured reservations at all of them were very understanding and we were able to cancel our reservations minus a $20 cancellation fee at most parks. Some of the parks even waived the cancellation fee then we had to deal with Santa Rosa RV park on the Gulf Coast of Florida. They offered us a one-year voucher to come back and stay with them. I explained that that was not an option, as we were not able to reschedule this trip within a year, and I asked if there was a way that we could come to an agreement that would somehow reduce the $340+ payment that we had made, their response was "we must stick with our policy". Well, I do understand policy, I do also recognize customer service and flexibility. I would recommend not staying at Santa Rosa RV park as there are many options in the area that do appreciate the customer. However, if you choose to stay there, good luck. Thanks, Steve
