    Mild all over the drapes

Uhhhhh.... Gross. First room had mold all over the drapes and the AC didn't work. Second room? Yeah, smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. Asked about coffee when I got there at 7PM local... The response? We might have some left over from breakfast. Seriously. Also suggested I check the room for a coffee maker - which turns out was in the bathroom - right by the toilet. Like right by. As if engineered so that one could have a morning constitutional and grab a cup-o-Joe. Why not put it on top of the microwave caddy? Nah... People LIKE to consume their beverages where others defecate. Asked for a luggage cart upon arrival. The hotel attendant came down with a member of maintenance who had his repair gear on the luggage cart - they argued about it and the employee wouldn't give up his cart. We were offered a three wheeled garbage cart instead of a luggage cart to move our luggage with. Is management listening???

This hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff is amazing! My boyfriend and I came from California and stayed here for 4 days. It's very easy to get to and is only 10 min away from the tourists part of Nola. The staff was great, they gave us recommendations and tips on which restaurants were the best, directions, tours, cruises and attractions which all turned out to be great. I had an amazing time thanks to these tips! Thanks baymont!!! Oh and they are affordable as well :)

I didn't feel the need to look at my room first because every room is still nice. I also like hotels that have a large t.v. and mounted on the wall. Friendly staff will always lure me back and overlook "thats just the way it is". The location is in walking distance of several restaurant options and service stations. Thanks guys for a pleasant weeks stay! Did I mention they have motorcoach parks and street parking if ya choose! Here today! There tomorrow!

The carpet could stand replacing in the room. Actually thinking the smell that is on the whole 3rd floor could be from new carpet in the hallway. My biggest pet peeve is NO hard line Ethernet only Wi-Fi which is never as fast. The rooms still have the cables, but they have cut off service. They don't realize some device like the Amazon Kindle is very much a pain to get on their Wi-Fi. You have a code but has to be entered on there webpage. The Kindle is just one of many devices that has a really poor browser and without internet it doesn't want to connect most of the time to their page. We had to wait till we are somewhere else were you can just connect like Starbucks or McDs. I could create a hotspot from the MacBook if I had the hardline. Neither of our cellphone plans include hotspots. Like the dual pillows pick hard or soft. The bed was also very good. OK what's with not being able to an ice machine on every floor. It's a 3 story building and only the 3rd floor doesn't have an machine (really) or washing machine. They have Cox cable and you get all the HBO and more so huge credit for that. Our room had a mini microwave and the small refrigerator both were handy. Down to food only got bacon one day they seem to like the sausage links and turkey sausage patties. They did have chocolate milk. They have popcorn machine which is nice in the evening. They are close to several good eating spots. New Orleans Food and Spirits is great. The only thing keep this from a 4 star review was the smell in the room and 3rd floor. We checked in another Holiday Inn after leaving and there was NO smell at the new location.

I stopped at a rest stop and checked my bag within 50 miles of leaving the hotel remembering I hadn't packed it. Nothing bothers me more than unscrupulous persons who steal and management who stands behind them. DO BETTER HILTON! I'm willing to bet NUMEROUS left items were never found at this location. If you steal and get away with it, no questions asked, you're going to be a repeat offender.

I had very good experiences in most of them, but this time, it was terrible. We were running low on the shower gel, so I asked the cleaning lady for a new bottle. She said she MUST be the one to hook it up in the shower, but my husband was taking a shower, so I told her that we know how to hook it up because we had done it, but she refused, said that she must have the old one first!! We paid $730 for 4 day stay, $178 per day!! They were worried that we could " steal " a bottle of shower gel??? Hampton Inn is by Hilton Hotel!! Does Hilton think that we would steal a bottle of shower gel, when we paid $730 staying there??? Because we didn't get the shower gel, we would wash our bottom parts with shampoo so we could save the shower gel for our bodies! Maybe Hilton should retrain the managements to be more flexible and more understanding of their customers.

During a recent six-day stay, I had an outstanding experience from check-in to checkout. Upon arrival, I used the valet service, and every valet attendant I encountered throughout my stay was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I felt completely comfortable leaving my rental car in their care. The parking garage is conveniently located just across the narrow French Quarter street, so retrieving your vehicle is quick and easy. Guests can also call ahead to have their vehicle waiting, which is a great convenience. The front desk team was equally impressive. Every time I entered the lobby, I was greeted with a smile. The staff went above and beyond during an unexpected power outage in the French Quarter caused by a transformer fire. They worked together to help me retrieve my vehicle from valet so I could make it to the airport on time. Their professionalism and teamwork during a stressful situation were truly appreciated. The hotel's main lobby is bright, modern, and very clean. Having a Starbucks and a well-equipped fitness center on the lobby level is an added bonus. Our suite exceeded expectations. It featured a comfortable living area with ample seating and a large television, making it feel more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room. The bathroom was spacious with a glass-enclosed shower, and the king bed provided the level of comfort I expect from a Marriott Bonvoy property. One detail I especially appreciated was the quality of the iron and ironing board--they were noticeably better than what most hotels provide. The suite also included a generously sized mini refrigerator, and microwaves are conveniently available in the common areas near the ice machines. The location is one of this hotel's biggest strengths. It's close enough to walk to all the excitement of the French Quarter, yet just far enough away to enjoy a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere when you're ready to unwind. Overall, this property delivers exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

As an ambassador, I was disappointed to be placed in an interior room with a window looking directly into another window and concrete walls, but overall this was a good value and a great location. Located in the French Quarter and close to Canal Street and the street car, a little over a mile from Marigny/Bywater. The king suite was large, spacious, and clean. Bathroom with a tub. Bed was a little hard for my taste, but again clean and crisp linens. Equipped with a refrigerator to house booze or leftovers. Hallways can get a little loud with drunk people and slamming doors, but I imagine that's many places in NOLA. Secure. I didn't note any free breakfast (who wants hotel breakfasts in New Orleans anyway?), but there is a Starbucks in the lobby with plenty of seating. Front desk staff were alway kind and accommodating and did acknowledge my ambassador status (not that I care about that, but I know it's one of their metrics). Well stocked pantry with lots of drinks (gotta stay hydrated in New Orleans) and snacks and basic necessities. I got the ambassador 4 PM checkout without issue.

Apparently, they don't do reservations so there was a slight wait. It seems we made it there right on time because there was a big rush after us. Our group of 11 was seated at a table around the dimly lit bar area-which wasn't ideal because we couldn't really hear the live jazz playing in the main dining area. Our server was very kind and candid but he was clearly overwhelmed. He did his best and was very generous with the bottomless mimosas. He also gave the mothers at the table a single rose, which they loved. The food was decent! The buffet included salad, fruit, pastries, grits, bacon eggs (and a separate omelet station, etouffee, grillades, a carving station and a dessert bar amongst other items. I'll say the best thing about my experience was the peolpe I came with. Even though it wasn't bad, I don't see myself returning because I simply don't enjoy buffets or casinos.
